I then started to buy cake slices from them for $8 each, the cake is moist and delicious, no problem there. The problem starts when I go to order my 21st birthday cake from them. I told them exactly how I wanted it and they agreed. Since I had never had a problem with them or their cakes before, I agreed to pay the almost $100 for a basic 10 inch Nutella cake with natilla filling and buttercream icing. No decorations no cake topper. (I added the Ferraro rochers on top) My birthday was on a Monday and they do not open on sundays or mondays. So I had to pick up the cake Saturday night. She told me the cake stays fresh up to 5 days, so I agreed since once again I had no problem with them before. The cake was fine on sunday in my refrigerator. The day of my birthday, on Monday, some form of liquid was leaking out of it and the cake was SINKING! I had paid $100 for this cake and they weren't open I had no choice but to put it on display in front of my family and friends. The cake was rum after I explicitly told them I didn't want a rum cake. The cake flavor was not what I asked for, the cake was a sinking disaster, it was leaking a weird fluid, and it was embarrassing for me and my guests. They lost a loyal customer. read more

The cake was done really well and the cake tasted amazing. There was more than enough for 25 people that everyone got two giant pieces. The way they decorated the cake was also done very nicely. I communicated what I wanted from the flavors to how I wanted it decorated. They did everything correctly. The only thing I would recommend, because I paid for delivery, is to have the cake covered through the delivery process. I'm not sure if this is something that is done, or a thing, because of the size of the cake. In a word, awful. 1. 3:00 pickup? I arrived at 4:00 and still had to wait 45 minutes for my daughter's 15th birthday cake to be ready. 2. Cake was supposed to have a decorative broche on it. Nope. Wasn't there. Discovered when I got home with it. Their reply - "oh, are you sure? Well you can come back to get it or we can give a store credit." Seriously? Guests arriving and I have to drive back for something THEY forgot?! 3. Top layer (1/3 of which was inedible support/base) was secured by so many wooden pieces that it could not be cut, lifted off, or otherwise worked with. Resulted in a cake that looked mauled in spite of great care taken not to damage it while cutting. By the way - did I mention how dry the cake was? Must be sawdust from all the wood they cut for the supports. This was garbage, wrapped in fondant, with more wood that a furniture store, at just under $400. I came across these lovely super bowl cakes on their Instagram page that read " cake special " call us for more info. I sent them a direct message asking how much the special for the cake was for Super Bowl Sunday. I was advised it would be $65, and I thought to myself what a great price for a custom cake. I called the very next day to place the order and then was told the cake alone was $65 it would be $15 extra to have the super bowl decorations on it so I said ok this is not how it seems to be advertised on your page but ok $80 is still not too bad so I said no problem take my order anyways. They start asking me what flavor and filling I wanted without mentioning any additional costs. I see on my credit card app the following day I was charge $100 from this place. I immediately call and ask how did this cake go from $65 to $80 to now $100. She proceeds to tell me the filling was also extra and taxes. I said no one told me there was an extra charge for filling, so I ask her to remove the filling if that's the case. She then tells me she doesn't recommend the cake without it because it would be very dry without it. So I kindly let her know they should really STOP advertising these "cake specials" when reality there is no special it comes out to way more than they post it for. She then lets me know how this cake would normally cost me $150 from them so I am still getting a really good price. I am a cake maker myself, that cake DOEST NOT cost $150 to make. It wasn't even fondant! I was so disappointed with the lack of consideration and false advertisement from this place. But the story only gets better.... I show up Saturday evening to pick up my $100 cake I paid for, and the owner is on her phone the entire time doing a live video completely ignoring the fact a customer just walked in. And to think even with a $50 credit i would still have to pay $100 out of pocket for another cake if i ever did want another one from them. DO NOT BUY A CAKE HERE! UNPROFESSIONAL! THREATENED ME! HORRIBLE DESIGNS! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT! NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! I usually only use this platform to leave positive reviews, but I am so insulted with my experience with this cake shop today, that I felt I had to show others what's going on at this place. I'm relieved to read on the comments for this shop that I'm not the only one to have received the experience I did.... (as they mentioned this was their "first" encounter of the sort) I placed an order, after I asked if there was availability for the date of my event. I was told yes without hesitation. I offered 2 pictures as inspiration for what I wanted. The following day when I called to place the order, the owner Laura sent me 2 pictures of nicer cakes and I decided for one of the ones she sent me. I attached the picture of the design I was sent and the design I paid $450 for (25 person cake). I was told I would get the cake Saturday from 7-8 pm due to the holiday Sunday and I agreed without a problem. Saturday at 8 I called to get a status of the delivery and I was told that my cake hadn't even been started because they did all the Father's Day cakes before mine, and they were going to have it done by 9:30. 9:30 cake and went. By 10:00 I called and they told me they had 3 decorators working on my cake, and that they would be done in 30 mins. Long story short, I got the cake at 12:10 am. Pictures attached of what I received.... the cake was a disaster. Nail mark in the front and center of the cake, the topper wasn't even 1/8 of what the original one had, there was no pearls to simulate air bubbles, the bottom of the cake had no ribbon leaving the stapled white edge exposed. Just pure sloppy, last minute, unprofessional, a complete mess. Which is fine, these things happen and as a business owner I would have found a solution to this problem immediately. But what's truly frustrating about all this, is the response I got when I called the shop: I called and spoke to Laura who told me that I had 2 options, accept the cake as is, or they can pick it up and "take a loss" by giving me back my money but leaving me with no cake for an event in 10 hours.... obviously I wasn't accepting either of her ridiculous options. She insisted on picking up the cake, and when I said absolutely not, she threatened to show up at my property, WITH THE POLICE, to pickup the cake that I PAID FOR! Complete insanity... needless to say I told her to please go ahead and show up with cops, as I know the law, and I know that her empty threat was just an intimidation attempt. I didn't want my money back, I wanted the cake I paid for. And I didn't ask for any discount or any considerations due to the fact that I had to stay awake till midnight to receive the cake. A "supervisor" then called me back and told me that she wasn't a cake decorator, but she was willing to stay at the shop for me to take the cake for them to try to fix what they could. Which is did, they patched up the cake and threw some glitter on it to cover the imperfections. But this is completely unacceptable. They threw a cake together in an hour and charged me $450 for the crap I received. I could have given my 6 year old daughter 4 colors of play dough and a cookie cuter and she would have come up with the same thing. It's absurd. The "manager" agreed the cake looked nothing like the original design but blamed it on the humidity. HELLO! We are in MIAMI! That's all there ever is! Humidity! If you can't make it, don't sell it..... plain and simple. And the best part, in the whole time I was at the shop, the owner never showed her face to apologize for her lack of professionalism and the threat she made to call the police to take back MY cake. Her diva attitude is not cute, it's not professional, and she hasn't the slightest clue how to treat a customer. I'm sure she wouldn't treat JLo, Arod, or the Kardashians how she treated me. And I know for a fact she wouldn't send them the piece of shit cake she sent me because they would literally throw it away in her face. This cake is garbage, but supposedly she's "proud" of it. So since she's "proud" of it, I attached plenty of pictures for all to see :) Don't buy a cake here. Save your money. Publix can make one better and cheaper and they will treat you better than this bimbo will. I will be rating them on the better business bureau's website. And I will be calling my merchant to see about this issue because I certainly didn't get what I paid for. This is robbery at its finest. read more

I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. You are better off at going to Ricky's or Versailles Bakery where you are treated with respect. Also, do not be fooled by the celebrity list as the list is outdated and over half of these stars no longer live in Miami. Both the vacuous manger and her daughter refused to acknowledge the "colored folks" who walked into her store. Her daughter ignored us despite several attempts to grab her attention three times, but she continued to work on whatever document she desperately needed to address then crumbled her paper and walked away with a sigh. I would have more respect for this "establishment" if the owner has a " NO BLACKS ALLOWED" sign at the door. She, unsurprisingly, became defensive when it was suggested that she had a problem with our cocoa melanin skin :) They also misled information about specific details of cake but did not follow through when we returned to pick up our cake. They failed to take responsibility ( hmm.. sounds eerily familiar anyone ?) Judging by the other reviews, her service is not consistent. Because we got a refund after a few choice words were exchanged, this un-divine bakery gets one star. I would also like to add but this young guy who works at the office was also helpful and rectified the situation. He should take over the bakery since he's the only person who is competent and courteous. read more

Stay away from them!! I ordered a cake and never even got ii! Horrible customer service. I don't cake if they do cakes for jlo but they need to be more humble. They ruined my birthday and even kicked my mom out of the store when she got there. Like who does that when I paid for a cake $285z they stole my money. Please stay away from they. **CAUTION** STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!** My parents sat 2 hours designing a cake with this company, we were so excited as they are pretty reputable in Miami. The day before my son's first birthday they called to confirm delivery and that everything was running according to plan. The very next day no one delivered the $1400 cake, no one was answering calls, emails, or texts. My son had no Cake at his birthday party, we were so disappointed. They finally replied 5 hours later after the party was over, claiming that the cake was delivered, obviously it was not. Then they said they mistakenly delivered it somewhere else, i don't know how that happens, and they sent us a picture of the cake they had made.... They then said that they would remake this $1400, 100 person cake in 2 hours, that's fairly impossible I thought. We said we did not want the cake we wanted a refund, but they insisted on it. When the cake finally arrived (at 7:30pm) it was the exact same cake they claimed they had delivered to another address. They lied about the false delivery and remaking the cake. The cake by far was definitely not $1400 worth. It was sunken in, cracked, the decor was poorly made, it looked like it was made by an amateur. Not to mention the taste was nowhere near as good as what they tried at the design appointment. So disappointed in this company, they definitely did not live up to the expectations. Horrible service, horrible cake, horrible taste. I definitely do not recommend. Thanks for ruining my son's first birthday. ***edit*** the owner Laura decided not to refund our money because I would not delete my review stating my experience with her services. She then threatened my sister to sue her and leave a bad review about her on her work page (obviously she has never received services from my sister), only because, again, we would not delete our review.
