This is the picture that was provided to the bakery for the decor team to reference and that the confirmed they could replicate.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This bakery presents well and comes across as professional during tastings, but don't be fooled--there's a serious lack of internal communication and accountability behind the scenes. At the tasting, the cake flavors were superb, the staff was sweet, and they seemed knowledgeable. I walked away completely confident in their ability to deliver. Compared to the other bakeries I visited, this one felt the most professional--even though it was more expensive, I believed I was paying for quality. I placed an order for a vanilla rum cake with caramel filling. I left detailed instructions on the decor with the manager both over the phone and via text, and I even sent a reference photo. I was assured there'd be no issue replicating the design. On the day of my baby shower, the cake I received did not look like the picture I provided. The toppers were not placed according to my instructions, and the word "baby" was even misspelled. Clearly, no one did a quality check--anyone reviewing the cake should have caught the error. I spoke with the owner, who didn't seem to care that the design was wrong. To her, the cake was still "beautiful," but that's entirely subjective. The fact remains: what I ordered and paid for was not delivered. While I might have been willing to overlook the decor issues, the flavor was an even bigger letdown. Instead of the moist and flavorful rum vanilla cake I tasted at the consultation, I received a plain, extremely dry vanilla cake. That tells me no one even looked at the order form. Everything I paid for to make this event special was either missed or done incorrectly. But since the owner thought the cake looked fine, I was expected to be okay with it. Maybe it was her event--not mine. My mom called on my behalf while I was at work to express our disappointment, and they offered her a store credit. I wasn't satisfied with that and called the next day to speak with the manager, Francesca. I was told she wasn't available, but that she'd call me back. She never did. I followed up twice over the next two weeks, each time explaining the situation again and being told only Francesca could help. I gave them time, understanding that businesses get busy--and I was busy myself--but I still trusted that once we connected, we could resolve things. I finally got a call back today--three weeks later--only to be told that a refund had been offered if we returned the cake. That was never communicated to us. We were only offered a credit. They conveniently brought up the refund now, knowing I no longer had the cake. Had Francesca called me back in that first week, I could have returned it--we had so much left over that it ended up in the trash. Be wary of this bakery. They may present well, but they don't deliver what you order and pay for, and they completely lack accountability. Francesca claimed no one told her I was trying to reach her, yet the owner, Tina, admitted she knew someone had called about this order. So which is it? Did they know and not call because it wasn't a priority, or did no one tell Francesca, as she claims? The inconsistency speaks for itself. They were rude and dismissive throughout, and the whole experience left a sour taste. I genuinely thought we could reach a resolution--but clearly, that wasn't their priority. Attached is a photo of the blue gradient cake I ordered--simple, with just the toppers to be added. What I received was a striped blue cake that, while decent-looking, was not what I ordered. The topper placement was wrong, "baby" was misspelled, and, most importantly, the flavor was wrong too.

I've been on a serious relationship with Tina's cake for over 5 years. Its a birthday? Don't worry I'll get the cake, it a farewell? I got it! Any reason to go buy some awesome yummy deliciousness from Tina's. I no longer live in Doral, but when I did I would go buy the cake by slice (such a fatty LOL) and enjoy it as dinner; being so rich! We got one of the premade cakes in the display for a bday this week and it was yummy! I see a couple of post in regards to the moist, and yes it sometimes is a hit or miss on that department, but I love the frosting.

I only ordered one item, the Bariloche (I think that's what it was), which was good, especially for $2. The contrast in textures is wonderful, from the gingerbread/cinnamon(I think)base to the crunchy, and fluffy/creamy layers Limited choices in the display case. Clean and open floor plan with a side classroom/event space for baking classes and parties.

I have had Tina's before and their cakes have been good. Perhaps it was because this was a same day request that we received a subpar cake. My co-worker said he requested a rum cake over the phone. This was definitely not a rum cake. And I would not discount that from my review because I know my co-worker can mix things up sometimes, but this cake was dry. The icing was very good though. I think they are better with advanced orders and not same day requests. However, I do appreciate that they filled our order within a few hours.

I ordered a cake for my 40th birthday and the cake, service and sweets were amazing. First, I only had an idea of what I wanted to get and the staff helped me out very nicely by showing us pictures of previous works and offering ideas for my cake. The day I picked up the cake it was just as they had described it and it looked beautiful. They also offer sweets such as alfajores, coconut sweets, mini-key lime pies, different types of cookies and I picked a few to serve at my birthday party. They also gave us different samples to try and overall the service was excellent, they were patient and helpful. I am very happy with this place and plan to order more from them.

Where do I start! Tina's is the place to get your cakes !!!! The cakes they make are so delicious that you'll dream of it. They make these beautiful designs that you never knew someone can possible do. I ordered my cake from them, last minute mind you ( 24 hours before ) and they made it! No where else do they make these beautiful cakes in that time! Mine was Rum with vanilla frosting ( the best flavor in my opinion) let me tell you I cried when the cake Was done! I didn't even want to cut it. It's honestly THE BEST cake in doral, no the best cake in MIAMI. Tina's makes the best cakes, they also have cupcakes and more. You don't have to have something extravagant like I did, they also have simple basic cakes. They have so many flavors! And you can mix and match! From red velvet to dulce de leche to everyone's favorite, chocolate. Tina's bakery is heaven on earth. * p.s yes I'm a 24 year old that loves unicorns*

This cake was good and I ate it until I found hair in the icing. This place really fell off. The cake is very dry unless they add syrup to it to soften it up. It's already very sweet and I never eat the icing. That just takes it way over the top with the sugar.

I've been buying my birthday cake and my moms birthday cake here for about 4 years and am always delighted and looking forward to it. They can make cakes of any design and have been featured on TV several times. The cakes are so moist and the perfect amount of sweet. The best part is the fact that you can tell them last minute. They ALWAYS come through.

I had my baby shower cake made by Tina's original cake and let me start by saying wow oh wow! From the first to the last bite, the cake was delicious! When first meeting with the staff, they were so pleasant to work with and took the time see my vision of what I wanted for the cake. They wrote notes and assured me that the cake was going to be beautiful and it was! The richness of the cake and the freshness was perfect and the taste got many compliments by my guests. The cake was almost as described which is why I gave them 4 and not 5 stars. I had seen the cake I ordered on their Instagram but changed it up a bit. Instead of a bunny I mentioned I wanted a teddy bear but for the bunny instead when the cake was delivered. Also they forgot to add the green little grass detail on the cake. They were however very accommodating and let me bring the two bears I added to the cake at the bottom instead of paying for fondant figurines that were pretty expensive. Aside from those minor details, I would definitely recommend their cakes any day for your special event.

The bast cake baker in miami hands down!!! It's very hard to have wonderful moist cakes dressed in perfectly decorated fondant! Tina's cakes are beautiful and tasty!

In the past, I have tried her cakes ... Yay, I am a fan. Tina's is right off of NW 58 Street, in a small shopping plaza (disclaimer, during lunch it could be difficult to find parking). The cupcakes were honestly great, because they were sweet but not that overbearing sweet. The actual cake was fluffy and tasty and the icing was yummy!

What can I say about Tina's...long time customer, they are like wine, simply getting better by the years. Another wonderful birthday and another cake order from Tina. The customer service is just phenomenal, the product, well super fantastic..now they make macaroons?? Bottom line; prices are a bit high compare to other places no doubt, but you'll see where that extra money went into, great customer service, always friendly, nice location and atmosphere...and the cakes are moist, tasty and professionally done. I'll be back no doubt.
