      I am SOOOOOOO excited to have hired Jen to design and bake our Wedding cake! She has been recommended by close friends and family and we've personally have tasted and seen her cakes/sweets. She is the type of baker to look closely into details as well as having a DELICIOUS tasting cake. We went to a tasting and tried some flavors we had chosen.... We discussed different styles and went through some photos. She has a great cevision and I can't wait to see the result. She's made several cakes for my friends and family and I know she will not disappoint. ***UPDATED REVIEW***2/2/2020 WOW. Is all I can say about my wedding cake. It was the most gorgeous, perfectly detailed wedding cake I had ever seen. I couldn't have imagined such a perfect looking cake for my wedding. Not only was that cake BEAUTIFUL to look at it was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! I was unable to try it the night of my wedding and luckily I had a left over tier of cake! The FOLLOWING day I had a piece and it was still MOIST! It was absolutely to die for!! Let's not mention the perfect macaroon favors she tagged and packed for my. I had the dulce de Leche filling which did not disappoint. I had guest asking me to take cake home, that's how good it was. My husband and I have been eating left over cake for 3 days!!!! And it's still moist!

      I have been ordering cakes from Jen from years now. She is my go-to cake girl! I know that whatever idea I have for a cake (as wild as it may be), Jen always surpasses my expectations. Aside from the beauty of her cakes and desserts, they are some of the best-tasting, ever! Her work is extremely detailed and clean. I have never, ever found a flaw in any of her cakes and desserts. All her cake flavors are delicious and moist. She is most of my family and friends' go-to for cakes as well!

      Jen's customer service was impeccable from start to finish , I have yet to order a cake from her but dare I say she has the best macaroons I have ever tasted! Not only are they delicious they are BEAUTIFULLY made , Also she blew away ANY expectation I had for my daughter's mermaid cat cookies as well as made beautiful cookies for my clients shower!

      Amazing, great tasting and beautiful works of art! I wouldn't go anywhere else. Not only is her work beautiful to look at but the taste is extraordinary. The problem that a lot of other bakers have is once they become popular their favors start tasting like it came out of a box, you'll never have to worry about that with Jenny! Mouth watering just thinking about it.

The look on my brothers face when he's surprised by his birthday cake designs and everyone else's expression is worth every penny.       I found Jen's Custom Desserts through another local baker, because they could not provide what Jen could. I needed to have a custom grooms cake that was multiple tiers and apparently very complex. Once I reached out to Jen, she quickly responded and was so professional. I visited her very cute shop and did a tasting. She took notes and we tried multiple flavors of everything. Jen was able to get examples and understood the vision that I had for my wedding for both my wedding cake and my grooms cake. She is moderately priced, especially for what I wanted. Something so customized. On the day of my wedding; I was so ecstatic when I saw the cakes side by side. My Groom was also so happy to see his surprise cake. Not only were they beautiful; but they tasted just as amazing. We continued to eat the cake for the 3 days after the wedding (sorry we can't wait a year after the top being in the freezer). Jen made our wedding even more special and even more us. Highly recommend her services to anyone who has a vision for their wedding beyond what the magazines show.

It comes out as large leafs of romaine, which is a nice presentation but I do think that leads to breadcrumb and dressing distribution being uneven. It was a very good salad dressing though, not too tart or heavy but still creamy and zesty. For our entrees we had the cavatelli with duck ragu which was my favorite. There were both crispy and tender elements to the duck and the pasta just melted in your mouth. We saved a tiny bit of it to take home because we couldn't stop nibbling on it, and it was great the next day too. They brought our steak out after our pasta. We should have specified we wanted them at the same time. By the time our steak arrived we were pretty full. The steak was served tender and juicy. We got the Prime Hanger. I appreciated that the server mentioned their two less expensive cuts were very popular instead of trying to upsell us on their pricier options, as we were very happy with this option. We had some steak leftover as well which was delicious the next day too. As it was perfectly medium rare, we were able to heat it up on a skillet without it overcooking much. We ordered the Bernaise sauce with our steak, but it was not necessary and I probably would have skipped it. Service was good and pretty efficient. They made sure to check on us frequently but the meal was good without any additions. I don't remember if when booking I requested an outdoor table but their patio is quite hot in summer. I think they need some outdoor fans to help with the heat as I was shvitzing a bit. If I were to visit again in the summer I would make sure to specify the need for an indoor table, but I'm sure it's lovely in the winter months. There was also the occasionally fly near our food which did kill the mood a bit and some table fans might help with. There is a gravel parking lot next to the restaurant. When we arrived there was only one spot available so it does fill up.
