Also, please use Google and Yelp reviews before deciding on ANY vendor, as these scores tend to be more realistic/honest than the ones on Wedding Wire/The Knot. We recently used Tasty Creations, (they also go by Table for Two Events and Catering) for our wedding. Our initial experience, including a tasting session with Josefina/Margarita Aluma and Chef David Scism, was positive. The food was tasty, the prices were reasonable, and they were very friendly. However, once the contract was signed, the service deteriorated. We have since asked for compensation for these issues and given them the opportunity to make it right, but since they refuse, we can only warn others about our experience. --The biggest letdown: They RAN OUT OF FOOD at our wedding. Despite an extremely detailed spreadsheet outlining guest count and meal preferences, they ran out of food. Initially, the staff served double portions and allowed seconds, then blamed guests when the food ran out. This left an entire table and some vendors without proper meals. Imagine the dismay of our guests, some having to share plates, while others received a meager serving of "5 pieces of tortellini." --They DID NOT PASS OUT THE CHAMPAGNE for the toast. It was so embarrassing to see guests holding empty champagne flutes as our best man said "please raise your glasses" during his speech. --At 1:49 on the DAY of our wedding, their catering coordinator called me to "run through the timeline." If he had bothered to read the timeline that had been sent WEEKS before the wedding, he would have known that I was in the middle of getting my hair and makeup done at this time. --We had only one bartender for 108 guests (even though we were promised 1 for every 80 guests). Guests had to SERVE THEIR OWN drinks and our signature drink was delayed. Essentials like cups and limes RAN OUT, with the blame being placed on the guests for drinking shots. --Staff members openly talked negatively about guests, with multiple guests commenting to me and the groom after the wedding about how uncomfortable it made them. --Their cake vendor was changed twice, leading us to have to find a replacement just a week before our wedding. --Linens for the gift and food warmer tables were incorrectly black instead of our requested off-white. The only compensation offered for the myriad issues was for these linens and an unrequested sweetheart table (which they still haven't refunded). This review is a cautionary tale for anyone considering Tasty Creations/Table for Two. While we embarked on this journey with optimism, our catering experience on our wedding day was marred by a lack of professionalism and a glaring lack of attention to detail.

Josefina did an amazing job at coordinating with all the vendors I had contracted with. She provided everything from ideas for the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to reception. They helped cater and created a beautiful rehearsal dinner for us. I wish I can do it all over again. The bouquet was breathtaking, and my bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful. They never said "no", and when you're a bride, this exactly the team you need. David's free spirit made everything just work and come together. Chef makes astonishing and mouth watering appetizers and meals for everyone. We certainly had everyone talking about the food. The salmon was delightful, and the sweet potatoes where out of control. Our appetizer were I sanely delicious; from our meatballs, to our strawberry goat cheese bruschetta. What an incredible night, and it's all thanks to Tasty Creations. They never made us feel stressed, and there were always there by our side. Josefina and David thank you so much for helping make our day magical.
