Friendly staff. Some bakery options. Decent cafe con leche. Toast needed a little more butter. Fair prices.

Rico Bakery & Cafe is a hidden gem in Little Havana!! It's a small shop with really friendly staff and everyday that I went to visit during my recent vacation it was always full of locals. Once I had my first pastry and coffee here, I completely understood why. Everything that I tried was really good but my all time favorites (wish I had some right now) were the... + Colada (Cuban espresso drink with 3-6 shots, it's delicious and addictingg) + Croquettes + Guava/Guava & Cheese pastry !!!! (they're a dollar and filled with goodness) + Chicken empanadas I can not wait to be back in Miami come back to this bakery.

Was headed back home when I realized I was in Miami and needed Cuban coffee and pastries. Very cute spot for breakfast on a weekend. I don't speak Spanish but still felt welcomed and was able to order coffee, croquettes and empanadas easily. This place is bustling and typical Cuban bakery serving different breads, pastries and even cakes that you can order. They have an outside ordering window so you won't even have to go inside. Everything I got was delicious. Highly recommended stopping by for some quick service and traditional Cuban treats!

Beef empanada, cafecito, guava cheese pastry

Discovered this off-the-beaten-path gem when we noticed many locals going in and loved everything we got. Delicious coffee, guava-cheese pastry, and beef empanada which was so flavorful and stuffed with beef. Prices seemed very good.
