The drinks are always good but some days the wait time becomes very long. Taro milk tea 1/2 sugar and low ice always good.

How nice to find this bubble tea store open late on a weeknight! A coconut winter melon drink hit the spot after I met my friend for an event at the Reston Community Center. That is right across the parking lot from this Kung Fu Tea. Kudos to Paola behind the counter. She was so patient while I decided on a special fall drink and she helped me customize it so it wasn't too sweet. Both staff members were friendly, so I felt very welcomed from the moment I walked in. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in the area!

Good tea, nice boba, friendly staff, and they've done a great job adjusting to new covid restrictions and cleaning policies. My only complaint is the drinks are consistently too sweet, even if you ask for them less sweet. The boba is that perfect Q texture, but even the boba itself is some of the sweeter boba I've had. The rose hip tea is one you actually can't order sweeter--they say they don't sweeten it--but boy is it sweet. I do love the floral taste though, so I can't complain too much. Wintermelon was also good--it tastes like the rind of a watermelon if you've never had the actual fruit before. In the winter months, if you're looking for a warm treat, look no further. They have freshly made waffles you can get plain, with Nutella, with cream cheese, brown sugar topping, or more. We got Nutella and it was so fresh and warm!

4 stars for now as they still need to work a few corks out. Came by this morning and was told they'll open sometime after 1 pm. I made sure to drive by here after work around 4 only to be told they'll open to the public around 5. Made it back here at 7 pm and they were finally accepting orders. It looks like they're still training their employees which is why they're a bit slow and just stumbling over each other in the working area, but they were friendly. I've noticed only 2 machines working for now which may slow down the process as well. I ordered my usual: the winter melon milk green tea with bubbles. Even though they messed up the order and 3 people who ordered after me got their drinks before me (they were apologetic about it), my bubble tea was as delicious as always. I pretty much chugged it and was ready for another one. Welcome to Reston, KFT!

Kung Fu Tea is a great franchise - very consistent no matter what location you go to - at least that's been my experience so far. Stopped by this location on a whim: nice location, parking sits right out front, decent amount of interior seating.

I am a fan of KFT but not this particular location. The service here is very lackluster compare to the other locations that I have been to. The service isn't terrible but it can't compete with the super cheery and super helpful service of the others. My drink was way overfilled one time and I'm pretty sure one of the employees just watched me struggle to clean up the mess on my own. The trash can was also located away from the counter at the time, so it was wiping the counter with loads of napkins, dripping with bubble tea to the ground, while transferring the mess to the trash. I'm still a fan of the variety and customization that I get with KFT. This is the closest location to me. The service is quick but the quality of the service isn't too great.

Disrespectful, rude, and ignorant. Poor customer service. I went there today with my kids. This was our first time there, and we just had a few questions; they weren't too busy, but it was so hard for them to help us with our choice. There were two girls, one of them told me to read the menu "but I already did" I just had a question, 2nd one said that there were some flavors they don't have today and advised me to read the list on the handwritten paper on the front of the register. We will never be back. And my kids didn't enjoy their drinks at all. They even did not let them drink inside, telling that it's the policy.

Updated from 2 to 4 stars because even at its worst, any KFT location is leaps and bounds better than the other local tea places I've tried.

Often make my drink wrong by putting too much ice and too much sugar. The bubbles are almost always way too chewy.

Super hyped due to seeing it on multiple friends snap chat stories but when I went myself I wasn't too impressed. Average at best.

It's great. All KFT locations are great. This one is new so they need to get their act together but the tea came out delicious.

I got 80% sweet and less ice and that was perfect me. The golden retriever has 4 or so toppings included in it, so I got more toppings than Kung fu tea at a lower cost. The drink tasted very good and I was glad they gave me so many toppings with it. I ordered at 6:30pm and the bubbles were still chewy. That's my biggest complaint about my local kung fu tea is by the afternoon and evening the boba is rock hard. I make it a point not to go to them unless it's in the morning because of that. But this sharetea location had chewy boba even at 6:30pm. I'm referencing Kung fu tea as a comparison here because that's a local milk tea store I frequent. I'll be back to this sharetea location. I Highly recommend the golden retriever and this location.

Luckily someone noticed and put it in the lost and found so when I came back in looking for it I got it back without anything missing inside. Drinks were good and sugar/ice were customizable as expected from a Taiwanese bubble tea chain!

If a place consistently delivers quality drinks, strong execution, and keeps us coming back, that earns a top rating from me. Teadm absolutely does that. We go to Teadm in Sterling often, and it has become one of our go to spots for drinks. Their Brown Sugar Milk Tea with boba is outstanding. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor, with the kind of texture that keeps you coming back for another sip. One thing I really appreciate is that their milk teas are actually milky and creamy. They are not thin or watery like at some other places. Also, the added traditional boba is excellent! It is consistently chewy, fresh tasting, and cooked perfectly every time. That kind of consistency matters, and they clearly pay attention to quality. They also offer a Brown Sugar Milk option with no caffeine, which is fantastic for the kiddos. Same creamy, satisfying flavor profile without the caffeine, and that has made it a family favorite. Another consistent winner is their Seasalt Bac Xiu Coffee. It never disappoints. Great balance of sweetness, coffee flavor, and that salted cream element that makes it so enjoyable. We have also tried the Color Switch Lemonade, which is good and fun to order. If I could offer one suggestion, I would love to see a classic simple lemonade or a lychee lemonade added to the menu as well. Overall, this place rocks. Great drinks, consistent quality, family friendly options, and the kind of menu that keeps us coming back. A solid 5 stars from me.

My mom and I were seated right next to the front door by the manager. Since it was freezing outside and the door kept opening, we politely asked if we could move to a table away from the draft. He told us no because a large group was expected to arrive soon. We then asked another employee, who said it wouldn't be a problem and moved us to a different table. A few moments later, the manager noticed we had been reseated. He came over, abruptly took the menus from our table, and angrily told us to leave the restaurant. The way he spoke to us was aggressive and totally uncalled for, especially considering his own staff had seated us. We decided to leave at that point. As we were heading out, he raised his voice again and told us to "go home," which was embarrassing and uncomfortable with other diners around. There was no confrontation on our end -- we didn't argue, complain, or cause a scene. We simply asked not to sit in the cold draft by the door. The entire situation escalated solely because of how the manager handled it. It's disappointing because the restaurant advertises friendly, welcoming service, which was the complete opposite of what we experienced. After reading other reviews, it also seems this isn't an isolated issue. If the owners see this, I'd strongly suggest addressing how customers are spoken to. No one should be yelled at or treated aggressively for making a simple, reasonable request.
