I am a Doordasher. Every time I go in there, I get ignored. They have the bags turned around so you can't see the name, but then they won't help you when they know that you're a DoorDasher and you're standing there waiting. There's one girl in there that wears a winter hat all the time and I believe has dark hair and maybe some piercings. She is extremely rude, condescending and nasty. Most of them in their act like they hate their job and it makes me very uncomfortable to go there besides the frustration of them wasting my time. It is night and day from when I go in to the other Sterling Starbucks in Community Plaza. They welcome me and ask how they can help before I even stop walking. read more

Visiting Giants in the Cascades Shopping center, I visited the Starbucks forgetting that they had royally messed up my tea order for coffee. On arriving the Police were finishing up some sort of problem and there was a line for orders. The Manger apologized. I ordered my London Fog which is a tea latte and although the line finished quickly, saw that my cup which requires 2 teabags was sitting on the counter and no one was paying attention until asked. Even then it too an abnormal amount of time to prepare. They also got my breakfast item wrong. This is now the second and last time I will visit. There's no mom/pop coffee or local spots in Cascades. So Starbucks it is/was/will be. Well they did it to me. I'm hooked to that chestnut preline Latte they have over the holidays. Ive been going to this starbucks for the past 15 years because it's the closest one to my house. The manager Jen sucks. I don't understand how she is a manger in the first place. I always order my regular drink which isn't hard. The girl that made my drink didn't mix the syrup with the coffee well so it was a completely different color I asked politely if she could remake it and she gave me a look. I just asked for a refund because of the look she gave me, even the other lady at register that was refunding me was apologizing!!! Ooh! I love what they did with the place! Gone are the little tables spread out around the room, replaced by large knotted wood monstrosities to be shared by up to eight people. On the other side of the room, two higher counter tables offer seating for six, and they're conveniently located next to power outlets for juicing up my laptop. Also, thankfully missing, is the loud music - it's seemingly been replaced by quiet, mellow holiday tunes. I've always had a fetish for sharing long tables with others - perhaps it's subliminally connected to cherished memories of huge dining hall meals with college friends that would take up twenty or thirty seats at a time for a party (it happens when everyone's coming from marching band practice). The ordering and fulfillment system here is as efficient as any Starbucks I've been to, including my personal favorite over at 14th and K near my old client site. Although I don't come here frequently enough for anyone to know my "usual," I witnessed someone else get prompted with the question of whether he'd like his regular order. That speaks to a certain level of personal touch that I appreciate so much. Free wi-fi is available here for bearers of a Starbucks card. I love the newish renovations they did to the store, sort of brightens up the place a bit. This place is absolutely a solid Starbucks, the service is fast, friendly and efficient. Its certainly run like a well oiled machine and have never encountered an issue here. On Friday, November 1, at about 11AM, I stopped by this Cascades Marketplace Starbucks and had Worst customer service that I have experienced in my life. Earlier in the day, I bought a breakfast sandwich here. I didn't have a chance to eat it for about an hour. I stopped back at this Starbucks and asked them if they could reheat it for me. The girls at the counter (I don't have her name) said no, they can't do that. I asked why and she said it is a health violation. I asked her to make me another sandwich. And she said no we can't do that. And that I can buy another sandwich if I want. I checked all of the health department requirements and found no regulations regarding the reheating of food. Any decent person would have either reheated that sandwich or would have "OFFERED" to make me a new one. These are the type of people that will destroy a business. read more

This location is just a stone's throw from where I work so it's super convenient for quick coffee runs. Like most places in Sterling, there is plenty of parking available (both on-street and off). There's also a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance if you have some time to kill. A small amount of seating is available both indoor and out but, as with most locations, can get crowded. I've never had a big problem at this location - baristas are usually quick and friendly and if you have a complaint they usually address it well enough to solve the problem. The only thing that would make this location better would be a drive thru! read more

I love this Starbucks, from the warm atmosphere to the kind employees that work there. This place is phenomenal! I have never had a bad experience here, I have never been talked back to by an employee. They are all genuine and willing to accommodate for whatever it is you may ask for. Today, on 8/9/2020 at around 3:30 pm, a late 20s (I assume) man was offended by the service he received while only two people were manning the bar with several people waiting patiently for their drinks - me included. I apologize on his behalf as he had, in lieu of not wearing a diaper over his face to contain the shit spewing from it, he resorted to a regular mask. Poor poor management. Lady named Gayle was very nasty to us at register. She came off racist as we approached her she quickly stopped smiling. Wasn't friendly and rushed us off the register when there wasn't even a line behind us. When I asked her for water she spoke back to me saying that it comes with ice. I told her I don't want any ice I just want water she said no that's called ice water. Even though this isn't my go-to Starbucks, I like coming here. The inside has a community table for people to study and I like the comfy sofas along the wall. The baristas all seem to know what they're doing. I order my sugar-free nonfat hazelnut chai and it comes out perfect every time. Overall not a bad location. The parking is shared with the surrounding stores, so that can get a bit tight sometimes but not too bad. read more

Absent are the hordes of angry, tired working masses and in their place are employees who are noticeably pleasant and patrons you'd expect to find in a non-chain coffee shop. Seating is plentiful; more than I've seen at any other Starbucks. Careful though, the tall, long wooden tables with seating for eight might actually make you interact with those around you. They have comfy seating and barstool seating. They have a place for every group, from study sessions, to first dates, to regular locals who just sit and people watch. Parking is tight but I've always found a spot. Wifi is free and easy to access. I've always had prompt service, coffee was made the way coffee is always made at starbucks. No complaints, no advice! This Starbucks always have attitudes towards people who don't order the more expensive drinks. I would say this place has some of the snobbiest baristas that I ever meant. Granted it is not every barista, there are some nice ones here, there's a nice older lady there that I enjoy. I'm already a fan of Starbucks, but really like this one. It's clean and well organized. The furniture is set up in such a way that the flow of the store is easy. The barista was friendly and made my drink perfectly (Venti white mocha, decaf, kids temp, one extra pump of white chocolate). While there wasn't a line, there was a slow trickle of customers.
