I'm telling you, when I'm really happy or really disappointed, I always end up telling you. This morning on my way to work, I ordered a drink from Starbucks. The guy forgot to put the vanilla cold foam on top of my shaken espresso. Since the cup was already full, I asked him to pour it into a Venti cup first so there would be enough room for the cold foam. Instead, because there was so much extra space in the Venti cup, he filled the whole thing with cold foam. I could barely even taste the coffee--it just tasted like sweet milk. He realized he put way too much, and he offered to make me a new one, which was really nice. But imagine waking up early, rushing to work, and just wanting your coffee. I didn't have time to wait for him to make another one, so I had to leave. I was so disappointed because this coffee was supposed to help me wake up, but it ended up being messed up. read more

Starbucks - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sterling, Virginia

This Starbucks is terrible and I only come here when I'm in shopping center and my teenagers are with me they like this one because it's in walking distance. They never get my name correct it's Natasha not that hard. Customer service never good And I feel like it takes them to long to make my coffee. read more

Rude employee today. Slow service. I kindly asked if my order was ready and the employee was very sarcastic stating "it looks like we're still working on it and gave me a evil stare. read more

I am a Doordasher. Every time I go in there, I get ignored. They have the bags turned around so you can't see the name, but then they won't help you when they know that you're a DoorDasher and you're standing there waiting. There's one girl in there that wears a winter hat all the time and I believe has dark hair and maybe some piercings. She is extremely rude, condescending and nasty. Most of them in their act like they hate their job and it makes me very uncomfortable to go there besides the frustration of them wasting my time. It is night and day from when I go in to the other Sterling Starbucks in Community Plaza. They welcome me and ask how they can help before I even stop walking. read more

Visiting Giants in the Cascades Shopping center, I visited the Starbucks forgetting that they had royally messed up my tea order for coffee. On arriving the Police were finishing up some sort of problem and there was a line for orders. The Manger apologized. I ordered my London Fog which is a tea latte and although the line finished quickly, saw that my cup which requires 2 teabags was sitting on the counter and no one was paying attention until asked. Even then it too an abnormal amount of time to prepare. They also got my breakfast item wrong. This is now the second and last time I will visit. It has to be the worse managed Starbucks in the immediate area. read more

Can the baristas please make drinks according to recipe and not be lazy? If a drink calls for sprinkles put the damn sprinkles on the drink! Why is this hard? read more

I've grew up at this local starbucks and when I tell you the workers are absolutely dismissive and rude it's no joke! I constantly order directly on the app and the past 4 times I have ordered for pick up my drink was incorrect yet when I asked to make sure a employee responded with "it's correct" as I sipped and left the drinks were absolutely terrible and the service just gets worse and worse. read more

Ordered via uber eats and they forgot practically my entire order. The fact that it takes legit a couple minutes to make sure an order is complete and they couldn't be bothered is ridiculous. read more

It's a Starbucks, and a pleasant one. Truthfully, I don't think I have ever entered and unpleasant one. The coffee still isn't the smoothest in the world, it the place is incredibly reliable and the staff is invariably sweet to me. What's not to like? Besides, the leather chairs are comfortable as hell. I could probably nap here, though that might actually earn me a polite request to head out. read more

Ooh! I love what they did with the place! Gone are the little tables spread out around the room, replaced by large knotted wood monstrosities to be shared by up to eight people. On the other side of the room, two higher counter tables offer seating for six, and they're conveniently located next to power outlets for juicing up my laptop. Also, thankfully missing, is the loud music - it's seemingly been replaced by quiet, mellow holiday tunes. I've always had a fetish for sharing long tables with others - perhaps it's subliminally connected to cherished memories of huge dining hall meals with college friends that would take up twenty or thirty seats at a time for a party (it happens when everyone's coming from marching band practice). The ordering and fulfillment system here is as efficient as any Starbucks I've been to, including my personal favorite over at 14th and K near my old client site. Although I don't come here frequently enough for anyone to know my "usual," I witnessed someone else get prompted with the question of whether he'd like his regular order. That speaks to a certain level of personal touch that I appreciate so much. Free wi-fi is available here for bearers of a Starbucks card. Having my own wireless connection, I didn't take advantage of it, but for those less fortunate, it looks painless to set up. Moving in the right direction, Starbucks. There's no mom/pop coffee or local spots in Cascades. So Starbucks it is/was/will be. Well they did it to me. I'm hooked to that chestnut preline Latte they have over the holidays. I don't know why but it's amazing. I do that or the peppermint mocha. The interior and atmosphere is better than other Starbucks I've been too. I enjoy the large community table in the right corner where you can unwind. I've seen people do conference/business meetings there (usually remotely); on Saturdays and Sundays nonetheless! I'm not a corporate person. But I dig this spot. read more

First up sorry to this Starbucks location I've been coming to this location since they opened many moons ago and I'm now getting around to writing a review. For shame (on me!) I love the newish renovations they did to the store, sort of brightens up the place a bit. This place is absolutely a solid Starbucks, the service is fast, friendly and efficient. Its certainly run like a well oiled machine and have never encountered an issue here. Also parking is ample in the lot, I'm usually in and out with quick steed, unless I stay for a bit to just sit and relax. read more

Ive been going to this starbucks for the past 15 years because it's the closest one to my house. The manager Jen sucks. I don't understand how she is a manger in the first place. I always order my regular drink which isn't hard. The girl that made my drink didn't mix the syrup with the coffee well so it was a completely different color I asked politely if she could remake it and she gave me a look. I just asked for a refund because of the look she gave me, even the other lady at register that was refunding me was apologizing!!! Another time I came in, the same worker making my drink then pour it out 3 times and I asked what was the problem and the worker just looks at me. Wasting my time. Btw her name is Vanessa. Then the next time I come in, I had no interaction with anyone or the workers, the manager Jen comes up to me and tells me I'm not welcome anymore to this starbucks. FYI I used to work at starbucks for a year and she knows about it so how do you say this to a customer. Also I understand the the work place at starbucks why would I want to cause anything? Also why did Jen come to me after weeks saying I'm not welcome and why not the day before? I feel like she wanted to start something. Anyways overall Jen is very fake and she does not Deserve to be a manger. She has ruined my experience at this place I hope she leaves so I can come back to this location happier than I was! Do not come to this location the people sucks and do not know how to properly handle situations correctly. A district manger really should check this location out. read more

Best Starbucks in DMV. I have a very long complicated order and they never fail to make it perfect. This place is so worth going to instead of any other Starbucks, good service, friendly baristas. WAY better then the location at countryside. read more

On Friday, November 1, at about 11AM, I stopped by this Cascades Marketplace Starbucks and had Worst customer service that I have experienced in my life. Earlier in the day, I bought a breakfast sandwich here. I didn't have a chance to eat it for about an hour. I stopped back at this Starbucks and asked them if they could reheat it for me. The girls at the counter (I don't have her name) said no, they can't do that. I asked why and she said it is a health violation. I asked her to make me another sandwich. And she said no we can't do that. And that I can buy another sandwich if I want. I checked all of the health department requirements and found no regulations regarding the reheating of food. Any decent person would have either reheated that sandwich or would have "OFFERED" to make me a new one. These are the type of people that will destroy a business. read more

I visited Sterling a couple weeks ago and had a delightful time visiting this store. Starbucks - All smiles in Sterling - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sterling, Virginia

This location is just a stone's throw from where I work so it's super convenient for quick coffee runs. Like most places in Sterling, there is plenty of parking available (both on-street and off). There's also a ton of shops and restaurants within walking distance if you have some time to kill. A small amount of seating is available both indoor and out but, as with most locations, can get crowded. I've never had a big problem at this location - baristas are usually quick and friendly and if you have a complaint they usually address it well enough to solve the problem. The only thing that would make this location better would be a drive thru! read more

When I lived a bit closer, this was the Starbucks I visited daily. The staff was always polite and my order was always correct. They handle rush hours efficiently and the mobile order organising is top notch! There are still days I'll visit here and meet with a friend for coffee. They're "to-stay" cups are gigantic and a good price. Better than getting a normal "to-go" cup! read more

I love this Starbucks, from the warm atmosphere to the kind employees that work there. This place is phenomenal! I have never had a bad experience here, I have never been talked back to by an employee. They are all genuine and willing to accommodate for whatever it is you may ask for. However, I'm not here to write a review about that. Today, on 8/9/2020 at around 3:30 pm, a late 20s (I assume) man was offended by the service he received while only two people were manning the bar with several people waiting patiently for their drinks - me included. He received an apology for the lack of service (which I would understand, considering that they were considerably understaffed in comparison to what they normally look like), and with his voice shaking in vitriol and barely-restrained piss-poor baby bitch attitude he said, "No you're not" and stormed out with his tiny Karen counterpart. For that person, I apologize to you. I apologize to all of you who work here and at any other Starbucks in the area, where you have to deal with people like that. I apologize on his behalf as he had, in lieu of not wearing a diaper over his face to contain the shit spewing from it, he resorted to a regular mask. I apologize to you because that is probably not the first, nor the last time, you will have an interaction like that today alone. Also, big bad tall white man, if you are here to write a shitty review to them and happen to see this? We are in the middle of a Pandemic. They are doing the best they can while putting themselves out there to serve ungrateful, disrespectful, entitled people like you. They are not there to kiss your ass and counsel you, they make your fucking coffee. Please re-evaluate your attitude before going back in public, understand that the world doesn't revolve around you, understand that the people making your coffee could also be going through some shit, shut the fuck up and kindly go fuck yourself. Good job otherwise, you guys! You rock! When my store launches next month and money begins to roll back in, I'll come back to tip all of you for your generous hospitality and care during these difficult times! Thank you for all that you do to serve us and sacrificing your time, and health, so head-ass shitty attitude Kens and Karens and normal, non-assholes like me can get some good coffee! read more

Poor poor management. Lady named Gayle was very nasty to us at register. She came off racist as we approached her she quickly stopped smiling. Wasn't friendly and rushed us off the register when there wasn't even a line behind us. When I asked her for water she spoke back to me saying that it comes with ice. I told her I don't want any ice I just want water she said no that's called ice water. It made absolutely no sense regarding her logic and the fact that she was practically yelling back to us the way she was. Totally unprofessional and highly unacceptable. Never going Back. read more

Starbucks - Thanks Gayle, not the water I wanted but had no choice. We just wanted to get out of there. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Sterling, Virginia

Even though this isn't my go-to Starbucks, I like coming here. The inside has a community table for people to study and I like the comfy sofas along the wall. The baristas all seem to know what they're doing. I order my sugar-free nonfat hazelnut chai and it comes out perfect every time. Overall not a bad location. The parking is shared with the surrounding stores, so that can get a bit tight sometimes but not too bad. read more

Yeah, they're all just a slightly different version of a faceless, soul-sucking bastardization of the coffee industry... but this location actually impressed me. Absent are the hordes of angry, tired working masses and in their place are employees who are noticeably pleasant and patrons you'd expect to find in a non-chain coffee shop. Seating is plentiful; more than I've seen at any other Starbucks. Careful though, the tall, long wooden tables with seating for eight might actually make you interact with those around you. It's a place I could see spending a Saturday morning, sipping coffee and having a conversation with a complete stranger. Oh the humanity. read more

Starbucks is a starbucks is a starbucks. The only thing different about each starbucks is the inside portion. This place has large tables as well as intimate little ones. They have comfy seating and barstool seating. They have a place for every group, from study sessions, to first dates, to regular locals who just sit and people watch. Parking is tight but I've always found a spot. Wifi is free and easy to access. I've always had prompt service, coffee was made the way coffee is always made at starbucks. No complaints, no advice!
