yummy sweet squish boba bubbles I love King Fu easy peasy to order from their app and then your tea will be waiting when you get there so ooooo many choices milk choices even lactose free sweetness choosing milk cap choices their bubbles are so good so perfect in their chewiness to softness plus the classics such as taro green tea black tea and their signature drink Kungfu milk tea with bubbles I clearly love bubble tea and Hong Kong is great everyone is very friendly they pack the teas in holders in a plastic so you can safely get your teas home this is a chain but I think that helps parking on Murray can sometimes be a hassle

A little expensive, but it's the Subway of boba tea in the area. I love the ginger milk tea with custard and boba. The milk cap is just okay, like a salty savory cloud on top of your drink. The sesame matcha flavor was also pretty great. Their oreo WOW boba special was just okay. They let you order your level of sweetness and also your amount of ice, which I love. Order on their app and they bombard you with specials and deals giving you free toppings and such.

This bubble tea shop is actually quite good! I would say I still prefer Tsaocaa more, but it could be due to the fact I got a yogurt drink from there and a tea based drink for here. Kung Fu is a chain, but their bubble tea is still pretty high quality and pricing is decent. I tried the Oreo WOW (medium size, regular sweetness 100%, no ice). First of all, I love how you can customize numerous aspects of your drink. Lots of places charge you extra for wanting a drink without ice (due to them needing to put in more of the drink itself to compensate the lost volume) but is is free here. Sweetness level customization also seems to be pretty accurate. I really enjoyed my Oreo Wow drink. There were little pieces of Oreo in the drink, which was well appreciated. The drink itself was not too sweet, and had a great amount of milk. The bubbles were chewy, but I would have liked them to be a bit sweeter. Overall size is good, both for the bubbles and for the drink itself. All in all, Kung Fu Tea definitely has a great menu for bubble tea/boba. They have fruity flavors, milky flavors, exotic flavors, yogurt blends, and everything in between. They even have snacks, like popcorn, although I've heard it is not very good. I really enjoyed my Oreo Wow drink.

I love all the flavors and interesting fruity combinations for bubble tea they have at Kung Fu Tea! Plus, they make most items with real loose leaf teas. The staff has always been friendly too!

Coconut Milk Tea with added tapioca and apparently no sugar! I requested no sugar, and wow... still tastes great! Cute spot, plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your drink. Staff is nice, and young girl at the counter was very, very nice that helped me!

I had their mango slush yesterday with mango jello topping. I love the many options to pick from. There's a other room to study and hang out with friends. Board games available. I like getting my boba drinks here. The staff were nice too. Yes, there's a restroom.

Kung Fu Tea tea is a must when I am in the area. This is the best milk tea and the best boba. The shop could be a little cleaner but the staff is great.

It's so exciting to see another popular Asian brand in Pittsburgh! I stopped by the other night and got their Kung Fu milk tea to go. They set up the room such that there's plenty of space to social distance while waiting to order. My drink came out within minutes after ordering. You can also choose your level of sweetness and amount of ice. I added red beans for topping, and was surprised to see tapioca didn't just come with it. Very satisfied overall. I'd love to come back and try something else!

I'm so happy there's finally an amazing bubble tea spot in Squirrel Hill! Kung Fu Tea has so many options and all of them I've had so far are so good. I especially enjoy the ability to customize my drink (amount of ice, sweetness level). The space is very clean and the workers are so nice!

So excited that Kung Fu Tea made its way to the burgh. We got the kung fu milk tea and the jasmine green tea milk tea with boba which we asked for less sugar. To my surprise, the kung fu milk tea was extremely sweet that we only took a few sips and had to throw out the large cup. The Jasmine Green Milk Tea was decent but I did not like the boba as it tasted like honey which made the drink even sweeter. Overall we didn't like the drinks but it's worth trying the other options. If you don't like super sugary drinks, make sure that you request your sugar level.

Sunshine pineapple tea....a refreshing treat after spending all day in orientation!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is the only place I buy smoothies…read more I love the options, the consistency and the control over sweetness. OPTIONS There are so many smoothies to choose from, to start: all fruit, yogurt-based, seasonal and featured drinks. But you can also add and remove ingredients to make a totally customized smoothie. CONSISTENCY While it might not be important to everyone, I like that I can go there and get the same smoothie every time I order it. No one is perfect, but overall, they are consistent. SWEETNESS This is probably the most important to me, as I cannot handle a super sweet, syrupy, chemical-tasting smoothie. I have tried my smoothies from here with no added turbinado sugar and then with half. I prefer the half. The smoothies here are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. They mostly come in one size, a large amount, which I like. The cups are probably not great for the environment, but they do keep the smoothies cold. (If I could change one thing, it would be that.) This review is based solely on the smoothies. I have never eaten food here.

This shop is part of a larger chain but currently appears to be the only location in the Pittsburgh area. It's located in East Liberty and is really more of a bakery than a coffee shop. The inside is split about 50/50, with half dedicated to seating and the other half serving as a self-serve bakery. You grab a tray and tongs before walking around selecting whichever baked goods catch your eye. They also have display cases filled with cakes and other pastries that need to be kept refrigerated. For my coffee on this morning I went with a 16 oz hot honey lavender macchiato while my wife chose a 16 oz iced tiramisu latte. I have to admit that the name of my drink confused me a bit at first, but it ended up being a latte macchiato as expected. With that being said, I thought it was quite good. The lavender was light enough to be noticeable without overpowering the drink, while the honey added just the right amount of sweetness. The espresso was also present, especially on the finish, where it added both flavor and body. My wife also enjoyed her latte and appreciated the tiramisu flavors throughout. Outside of the coffee, we ordered a number of pastries. My wife chose the Crookie, which is a cookie baked on top of a croissant. My son picked out a chocolate-covered Belgian waffle, while my daughter chose the strawberry soft bread. All of them enjoyed what they ordered, and I think my wife especially loved the Crookie. As for me, I went a little overboard and chose a garlic and cheese croissant, a curry croquette, pork-dusted bread, and a sweet taro cream bread. All of them were delicious in their own way. The garlic and cheese croissant was a nice savory option, with plenty of garlic flavor and a crispy cheese crust. The curry croquette had wonderful warming spices that made it especially flavorful. The pork-dusted bread was definitely the most unusual item. The pork topping reminded me of Wild Bill's Beef Jerky, and somehow those savory flavors worked really well on top of the crunchy laminated bread. Last but certainly not least was the taro cream bread. I was impressed by how light it felt despite being packed with an impressive amount of cream filling. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a sucker for bakeries like this and clearly ordered far more than my waistline needed, but everything I tried was enjoyable. While the coffee was good, the pastries are the real reason to visit, with the coffee serving as an excellent complement.

Yup But isn't that what we want for our favorite businesses ... and isn't even better when they are fully equipped for their popularity and make the experience great through it all We were immediately greeted by the hostess and given an accurate wait time. You could see the runners and bus team hustling to move along service and turn over tables. As soon as we were seated, the waiter came over and told us to be easy with orders and honestly our coffees and our meals came ridiculously quickly given that every table was fully seated. Okay... so that's how they are awesome despite the overwhelming popularity. Let's just cover the real scoop as to why they are so popular. The restaurant is colorfully decorated with local art and contact to purchase the displayed items. The table has a QR code of Pittsburgh Bucket List places to visit.. so this place is built on community. The menu is filled with modern yummy takes on food, options for every diet, and some extremely inventive local favorites.. I couldn't see a Reuben Benedict and not order it. Marbled Rye toasted with freshly pulled apart corned beef, Russian dressing, and of course a perfectly poached egg with hollandaise. My wife ordered the Chive Biscuit Breakfast Sandwich... and let me tell you that biscuit would be good for every meal of the day! The seasonal drink menu sounds delicious too but we went with a Chai Tea Latte and a French Toast Latte. This place is a Pittsburgh destination! You gotta go to Square Cafe!

I'd still come back and try a different sauce or mix-in combo because it feels like a solid healthy option. Also worth noting: adding a smoothie to a bowl order drops the price to $6 instead of $8, but you have to add it through the bowl order rather than as a separate item. I was pleasantly surprised by the bowl and thought it was tasty! I will say I wish you could get more included with your bowl, places like sweetgreen or cava or even chipotle lets you get however many toppings you want, and it feels more limited here (unless you want to pay extra).
