I came here with my sister-in-law and friend since they are Kung Fu fanatics. I think since Kung Fu remained open, they had the drink at least a few times a week every week. Personally, I'm not a fan but I do appreciate their hard work and large menu. This review will be base on my first drink ever at KF on 6/25. They enforce social distancing by limiting 5 customers inside the store at a time. *NOTE: You can now go inside to place order if you don't want to do mobile order.* The 3 of us enter and order drinks for 5 people so we got a beverage tray. They don't seem to follow the sugar level because there was no sweetness in my drink and my sister in law always ask for no sugar or less sugar (she don't like sugary stuff and trying to limit her sugar intake) got so much sugar in her drink. We think they put all the sugar from my drink into hers? I didn't ask for lots of sugar but for it to be sweet and I tasted no sweetness at all. We ordered: Red Bean Slushie (my drink, no sweetness at all and tasted too beany) KF Milk Tea with herbal jelly (had sooooo much sugar) KF Milk Tea with herbal jelly + tapioca Classic WinterMelon Tea with herbal jelly Oreo Slushie (tasted really good) ****You don't have to use my review for this place because KF is very popular and my family + friends love them... but I'm just not a fan. ****

So if you have nothing to do And your partner won't give you a screw I know something better And very much wetter Get Lemon Black Tea from Kung Fu! What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! This KFT didn't really do it for me service-wise but I'd rather have good products and good service so they're getting 5 stars because I love the taste of their lemon black tea and I loved the squishy tapiocaaaaaa and they made it sweeter than a lot of the Manhattan locations. All in all it was just excellent and delicioso mmmmmm nommm slurp slurp. However the problem was that the service was really iffy. He didn't really like taking a picture of me and they didn't really like me being in there - I could tell. But whatever. I don't really like their location very much, or their attitudes, but guess what. When you make my LBT better than most other locations do, I'm giving you 5 anyway. Deal with it. Now here's a rap.. I don't like beans in my drinks, not even MUNG FU If you brought the tea, it's already been BRUNG FU If you're seventeen, sorry bae, but you're too YOUNG FU But if you want Lemon Black Tea, you come to KUNG FU! It makes some of the rivals taste like eating cow DUNG FU It's at the top of the ladder, while you're on the lowest RUNG FU You'll love if you're easy going, even highly STRUNG FU So if you want a Lemon Black Tea, you come to KUNG FU I tasted it and screamed so loud that I collapsed a LUNG FU I carried on screaming and sounded like Angus YOUNG FU They played Sting on the radio, but I'm already STUNG FU By the wondrous Lemon Black Tea they serve at KUNG FU I went to the toilet, opened Snapchat, then I SUNG FU Came back, took my pants off, and the girls yelled "HUNG FU!" In walked Barbie and immediately I'm SPRUNG FU And you should come and get a Lemon Black Tea from KUNG FU! WHAT

Fast and good drinks. Would recommend this place for a grab and go. Except when I came home looking at my drinks, one of them didn't have the Nata jelly I asked for.

Updated: 10/2018 - 1/2019 I AM OBSESSED with their version of the #BrownSugarBobaMilk which KFT serves as #cocoacreamwow and it is fantastically delicious! Tried multiple times, both hot & cold versions available. Will say this - the guy with the cap is "my-go-to"! He makes the perfect version, brown sugar swirls and soft boba! 9 outta 10x, perfection. I've lost count... but pretty sure I'm up to my 20th serving... my belly is stuffed (literally!) with boba! LOL (note to self: google is it safe to digest so much boba?) I've been all over yelp, trolling every bubble tea place, hunting to cure my #torontoaddiction... (Long story short: girl goes to Toronto, girl got some drink call "brown lava boba"... girl fell in love and now girl got addicted to this ALL over Asia hype drink!!!) I found quite a few places that offers up a similar taste from our own neck of the woods! Yay me!! - Cheers! ********************************************** I've been a fan of KFT for a while, I forget but this location's been open for a few years now... I used to grab the nata jelly version (delicious lychee flavored jelly!). I've also had their red bean slushy as well... not a big fan... TBaar definitely makes it better. I find their milk tea tastier than their competitors but there was a time when it was overly sweet (not sure if it's true - other Yelpers said a change in mgmt...) and I may have stopped going. Went back today, got our milk tea with herbal jelly... it was as good as I remembered it. It does run you $4-5... for a large tea... (50 cent on boba... or jelly...). Still a fan when in this neighborhood!

NEW Rosehip pineapple tea w/ bubbles (caffeine-free)
    M M.

Favorite location! Usually order through the app and drink is made well. Felt like being spontaneous and trying their NEW rosehip and pineapple tea w/ bubbles. This is my fave going forward because I have been wanting a caffeine-free and dairy-free option. I hope Kung Fu keeps this one around! The drink is already sweetened so I suggest to put 0% sugar. It was a bit sweet for me but that's just my taste. They all wear masks when I went inside so that was reassuring. Social distancing stickers were on the floor for guidance. Please practice all covid-19 guideline so we can protect each other!

The spirit spooky slush had too much ice so there was no matcha flavor. The oreo pieces were too big so it could not be sucked through the straw.

Not going to deny it, I like any Tea place ... But this place rocks with their multiple flavor combinations. I'm a stickler for Passion Fruit Green Tea so it's hard to try new flavors. On this visit, no different, got my tried and true and then ordered the Mango Slushy for my son. He is a fan of tropical flavors so this was right up his alley. The service was quick and they thankfully had a nice air conditioner cafe seating area. It was a typical 85 degrees outside (summer weather, gotta love it) so I only wished I sat a little longer. The cafe was clean and with three workers ready to take your order and make your drink, it was super efficient. I'll definitely return and stay a while next time. The menu is quite the read, may as well sit and chill.

Black sesame matcha with herbal jelly
    Brendan Y.

Saturday afternoon and they did not have any bubbles/boba... how does this happen during peak hours!? I was watching customers getting disappointed every order before and after me. They had to settle for a different topping... disappointing for business. I got the black sesame matcha with herbal jelly. I can't recall ever trying black sesame in a drink, but it sounded interesting. It tasted as you would imagine... there were some sips where the black sesame had a powder/sandy consistency. There was real black sesame in there though. The herbal jelly mixed well with the drink. You cannot change any sugar level for this drink. I probably won't get this again, but it's worth a try if you are a big black sesame fan. It's a $10 minimum for credit cards, but there is no minimum if you pay through their phone app.

    Milk tea (very milky/frothy)

Pro: - fast at certain times - options for less ice and how sweet to make your drink - seems like you can play board games there. I saw a bunch of teens playing chess and other games there. - nice decor THE OKAY: - Grape fruit yogurt drink (30% sweet/less ice/$3.75 for Med.): it's alright. I love grapefruit drinks and this is not bad but not amazingly good that I have to come back for it. [3.5 STARS] - Grape fruit green tea - Bubble milk tea $3.50 (Med.) - I find their milk tea to be very milky and frothy. I prefer it less milky and frothy. I make better milk tea than them at home. [3 STARS] CONS: - lines are LONG - EXPENSIVE: Regular milk tea (no bubbles, Med.) is $3. Chinese bakery will charge you less.

50% yet still too damn sweet

The menu is pretty expansive and covers what you'd expect from a boba place, including fresh fruit teas, brown sugar bobas, yakult drinks, matcha ones, and the normal milk teas. It's interesting that the drinks only came in one size according to the type. I ordered a honeydew milk tea, and tried to get it as a small or medium, but they only had large. Boba was also an extra 75 cents. The drink itself was ok, it was both very sweet and watery. You couldn't taste any tea flavor. The boba was below average and there was hardly any in the drink. It didn't even fully cover the bottom of the cup. They were pretty soft, but didn't have any flavor. My friend got the standard milk tea and it also tasted pretty watery. The service was also pretty slow. The woman who took our order was a bit rude and we had to actively try to flag her down, even though the restaurant was empty. Overall, I wouldn't come back for boba. Tbar, which is nearby is a much better alternative.

It did take a bit of time to assemble, but the fresh flavors and variety of toppings made it worth the wait. My favorite toppings were the mushrooms and the kani salad for sure. I appreciated the different protein options, as well as the many sauce options. One thing I really like about Pokebowl Station is the flexibility--whether you want a premade poke bowl or want to build your own. The star of the show: purple yam souffle with vanilla ice cream is chefs kiss!! I thought I couldn't like any dessert more than their chocolate molten lava cake but this one definitely takes the spot. Top two desserts they have! Even when I had lava cakes at fancy establishments, it doesn't hold a candle to prince tea house! Their crepe cakes are also alright but I've found the to be less unique and enjoyable especially the brown sugar boba which sometimes comes out in clumps hard to pour onto the cake. Their food selection is decent for sandwiches like chicken katsu and also fries. Their fruity teas aren't my style but their hot milk teas are amazing. The lavender green tea was more green tea which was disappointing, hoped to taste more lavender. The best one is the rose lovers milk tea, literally perfection each time. Unfortunately, this place may no longer be my usual. My favorite part of this place is that the serves don't really care about you in the sense that the bring you food and leave you alone. However, they now impose mandatory 20% tip on all tables even for table of 1 or 2. This location only. As someone who realizes the servers here simply bring food and nothing else here (which I actually love as I don't like to be bothered) but expect a high mandatory tip, this is not the way to go. Especially since there have been numerous occasions where servers are nowhere to be seen and refuse to service you for something as simple as napkins or a check if they're not your server, this is an absurd addition. Definitely visiting less now that this happened. The most bothersome is that it's mandatory. Doesn't seem right/ethical and makes it feel less genuine. Had the pleasure of visiting other prince tea house locations and the service seems better, even water without asking, surprising cash discount, and most importantly: don't impose this mandatory tip! Not sure what changed here but not what it used to be with this and it needs to change.
