On site, the design and install team did a great job keeping things simple. The entire system, including battery and thirteen panels, was installed according to Ramiros's expert design within just four hours. Good quality hardware was used to tie to the roof, which was inspected by our roofer and given a big thumbs up for not causing problems. But even before that, David our site survey tech, gave us the sense that all would proceed well, as he collected necessary data by drone, and made a favorable first impression with his personable approach. Toward the end of the multi-month process, which included time to get a new roof installed, we passed city inspection with YES tech, Dario, an extremely courteous young man, present to ensure we made it through that last step and PTO (permission to operate). YES has an excellent and well-deserved reputation because of these people and others who worked on our behalf. The company can do better automating some of the process, and to be fair, they say they are working on transitioning to a CRM software solution for this purpose. But, I can say that over a period of several months, I had excellent communication with many helpful people. Skyler in customer service was my primary contact and that made all the difference. My thanks to YES for helping us make this wonderful and complex project a reality. We love our new YES-backed system and look forward to working with the company again in the future.

I had a frustrating experience with Your Energy Solutions regarding a warranty transfer. We were later charged $500 with no prior breakdown or explanation of the fee. I clearly communicated that I would be the one paying this charge. Despite that, the service department reached out directly to the buyer and asked who would be paying. This unnecessary contact created confusion and complications during the escrow process that could have easily been avoided. The lack of transparency on the warranty transfer fee and the poor internal communication caused more stress than necessary. Businesses handling real estate-related services should be more careful with both contract clarity and how they communicate with parties involved in a transaction.

I had been meaning to write this review for a while. Synergy Power came highly recommended by a…read moreclose friend, and after meeting Eric on May 27, I quickly understood why. He was extremely knowledgeable about solar and made the process of designing our system straightforward and easy. Because I had travel plans, we couldn't start immediately, but the Syndy team scheduled our installation for Jul 27 - 28. Everything went exactly as planned. The materials arrived on Jul 24, and Martin and his crew, showed up right on time at 7:45 AM on Jul 27. They worked incredibly hard, efficiently completing most of the installation that day and returning the next day to finish the remaining panels and cleanup. That evening, seeing our panels generating solar energy for the first time was an amazing feeling! PG&E installed the Tesla Backup Switch a few days later, and everything seemed to be moving perfectly - until our Livermore city inspection on Aug 7. Unfortunately, we failed because an approved heat detector had not been installed. I was extremely disappointed. It felt like having an amazing present sitting right in front of me but not being able to open it! There were a few additional hiccups, but Jason stepped in, took ownership of the heat detector issues, and worked to get everything resolved. We finally passed inspection and received our permit on Aug 26, followed by PG&E Permission to Operate (PTO) on Aug 28. Given that there was a slight backlog of jobs they had to work through we were assured that we would have our system fully installed and activated before the end of the year, which we did! It was great working with Nick who was our onsite rep and Juan was always available to answer any questions we had by phone (of which I had many). Despite the number of times I called, he was always patient with me and provided detailed answers that gave me a better picture of our installation and how our system would operate moving forward. I spoke with many contractors, and almost all of them sent salespeople who gave generic answers or tried to push cookie-cutter solutions that clearly didn't fit my setup. Carlos was completely different. From the moment he arrived, it was clear he wasn't a salesperson -- he's an engineer, and it shows. He took the time to deeply understand my system, reviewed actual spec sheets on the spot, and immediately identified issues that other contractors completely missed. Multiple companies told me Hyundai panels would work fine. Carlos checked the amperage limits, applied proper safety margin calculations, and clearly explained why those panels would not work with my EcoFlow system -- saving me from a costly mistake. Altho several companies were interested in providing quotes for new eqpmnt, I was lucky enough to talk with Franki at PV Repairs. After looking at a photo of the inverter setup, he patiently walked me through the workings of the system and reassured me we should not encounter any immediate issues with our current system. He informed us his company sells that same inverter, so if anything did go wrong, it would be a simple matter to switch out the old box and replace it with a new one. It's rare that one finds a company willing to be honest and say no, you really don't need to spend XX thousands of dollars right now! Kudos to Franki and PV Repairs - we're very grateful for their advice, and will have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone interested in solar!

I walked to the neighbors yard standing on the sidewalk and was confronting him about his rudeness. He then said that when I told him no I was hiding behind my screen door. I told him that I wasn't behind my screen door anymore. He said if I touched him, he would own my house. However, he never stopped talking rudely. My wife got 90% on camera plus the nest. He then said, you just blew up the neighborhood. He then decided to leave and we continued to argue as he walked past my house. He never stopped talking crap as he went down the block. Being an electrical engineer myself and handy around the house I can be very critical of other…read morepeoples work but also appreciate quality when I see it. In the work these guys did in my house they lived up to their name. They were professional - be it the preparation of the work area by putting drop cloths or discussing alternatives or suggesting changes - they knew what needed to be done in the most optimum way. They followed usual Covid protocols and always wore mask - at least when I was around. They did quite a bit of work for me and took three days to finish (which was a day sooner than their initial estimate so I was happy). They installed for me: 1. 35 Recess Lights - They recommended the new low profile Halo brand LED lights with adjustable color temperature which was an excellent choice. Their estimate included the material costs and I though it (the price) wasn't too bad 2. 4 Ceiling fan mounts (only mounts & wiring) 3. 3 220V-30A connections on separate circuits. One was for Electrical Water Heater, One was for Level-2 Charging (involved moving existing wiring and add an outlet inside garage), and one for electric dryer (we had gas) that involved some routing through garage ceiling. 4. Add an exhaust fan in master bath that didn't have any! I had a minor last minute request to add an ceiling outlet for track lights and they didn't charge me for it! What impressed me most was the way they optimized the wiring so that least number of holes would need to be cut for routing the wiring. They navigated attic space with ease when it was an option and so they didn't cutout a single extra hold in the ceiling or wall upstairs where there was some attic access available. When they patched the wiring holes it was very clean and they reused the circular cutout so that only minimal pasting/texturing/painting effort was needed (see picture). Ryan was main contact man and he was good at communicating and responding. Ryan, Dan and Matt were the team that did the work and they were all friendly and easy to talk to. I would highly recommend these guys for any big or small project.

He completed the replacement efficiently, verified that everything was functioning correctly, and gave me time to ask any questions. The following day, I received an invoice for the labor, which was competitive. I believe the cost was considerably lower than what many other solar companies would charge for a similar service. Overall, I am completely satisfied with both the quality of work and the level of service. If your solar system is not functioning, I recommend reaching out to Solar Service Call. Not one time have they came out. They installed my whole service incorrectly. They came out after fighting with them to reduce panels. The installers damaged my gutters and roof, they tried to say they did a panel upgrade and lied to me and said it was done and they did was add a disconnect from my existing panel in my garage. Not knowing I am a electrician lol. That was another fight until they finely hired someone to do the work. Oh they also left all the materials they used to install panels on my roof and in my gutters. Nails, conduit, strut, and clamps. My solar went out and there is no notification to bket you know. It was out 3 months before I found out. Called them and was told its on me I should check the app everyday. I did a hard reset sbs looked on YouTube for help. That was 2024. Now my solar is out again for 29 days and won't connect. Called a week and a half ago I told the lady please have a tech come because ive made this call about 6b tires and not one tube had a tech come out.bshevsaid f I r sure got an email confirmation and all for last Monday. Come to find out, they overcharged us by a significant amount and gave us an older inverter and did not actually recommend enough panels. We didn't do our research but shame on them for not being ethical. Our true up bill has been about $600 each year so that is expected and still saving us money even with the over charge and too few panels. However starting in 2024 things changed. The timeline of failures: 2024 System Failure: The system was completely offline for multiple weeks over the year, causing our utility true-up bill to increase from ~$600 to over $2,000. Delayed Service: We reported the outage in December 2024. Service was not completed until April 2025, extending the period of failed production. April 2025 Service & New Failure: Technicians restored solar production on April 11 but caused the system's battery to fail, rendering it useless for backup or consumption. (We requested the battery to be switched to max consumption which never happened so we have been losing money from that as well.) September 2025 Catastrophic Failure: During a battery replacement, the technicians caused an electrical short that destroyed the inverter. The system is now completely inoperable with zero production from solar or battery. Ongoing Impact: A replacement inverter is not expected until December 2025, exposing us to further excessive utility costs from 100% grid consumption - literally it's as if we have no solar but we are still paying our monthly loan amount and paying for all the power from the grid. Management continues to deny any compensation for lost production, stating they don't guarantee performance issues. There are no performance issues, literally there is zero performance as there is no inverter and no battery. Do not buy from this company, as you can see from BBB and other reviews they are not to be trusted!!!
