Perfect. I can't imagine what they could have done to make the process better. Communication was clear, estimates were spot on, the work was done on time, everyone was very helpful and very nice. They answered a lot of naive questions from us. The price was reasonable. Our electric charger was set up in half a day with minimal disruptions and it works perfectly. I don't think we'll ever want to use any other electrician. read more

I hired them to update my fuse box and install new light fixtures. They installed my fuse box upside down and made unnecessary holes in multiple walls. Low quality service with poor attention to detail. read more

We recently purchased a home that was built in 1960, and still had a fuse box! We used KES to complete the service change, and install a circuit breaker panel. They replaced the existing (and dated) light switches and outlets, and also installed ceiling fans. Jesse and his team were very professional, punctual, and responsive. They showed up on-time and put in extra effort to do the job right. They took the effort to cover all our belongings to keep dust off (when installing the fans), and completely cleaned up before they left. I noticed a small issue a week or so after the service change, and Jesse quickly came out to resolve it. We plan to use his team again in the future when we do some renovation work. read more

Kuhlman Electric - Electrical panel replaced and moved to another wall. - Electricians Near Me - Danvers, Massachusetts

Dependable and they do excellent work at reasonable price. Highly recommend. Very nice to deal with competent and personable people.

We used Kuhlman Electrical in Feb 2020 to install overhead lights we had purchased for our kitchen and dining room in our house in Beverly, MA. They came the day after our call to discuss the project details (ie. which wall switches would control the light, where holes would need to be made, etc). They promptly gave us a quote and scheduled the job within a few days. The two electricians who came were very friendly and professional and made double sure of all details. When they were done it took me a few minutes to find where they had made holes in the wall, i was very pleased with how minimal that was and how well they patched them. Everything came out exactly how we envisioned and the price was very reasonable too. I just scheduled more work with Kuhlman to add another overhead light in our office and a couple outside sconce lights for the back deck. Happy to go back, great experience. read more

Prompt replies, very competitive quote and amazing service and quality!! Highly recommended!

Gary was excellent to work with and I would recommend KES to anyone. We had a job installing a significant amount of low voltage networking in our 100+ year old condo. Despite the challenges of making so many runs in a home that has been renovated so many times over the years Gary and his partner were able to run everything quickly and found a number of convenient efficiencies along the way. I would definitely work with him again, especially for an older home. read more

I used Kuhlman electrical services today for the first time and I had an excellent experience. They sent two of their electricians here to do some work and I found them very professional and courteous. They were even early. The office is organized and they did a great job understanding what I needed and then completing the work. I would recommend Kuhlman for your electrical needs. Anthony and Thurston were the guys that came to my house and I have requested that they are always assigned to do my electrical work. read more

Great experience with this team. They helped with grounding a wire in my mother-in-law's house, as well as spending hours at my house fixing miscellaneous issues and getting our shed powered again. The guys were friendly, professional, and efficient. I would absolutely hire them again. read more

Excellent service all around. Came out quickly for a quote, and the quote was accurate. No games when creating the quote and no additional selling. As a matter of fact, they suggested ways to reduce my cost. In terms of the service and work, top notch work. They worked quickly and were pleasant. I evaluated close to 10 electricians and chose KES based off of my initial quote (not the cheapest, but the most honest and trustworthy) and am very happy I did. read more

I can't say enough about Kuhlman Electrical. Their office staff were knowledgeable and professional. They scheduled a visit for an estimate within a few days. Joe, who did the estimate, arrived right in middle of the time window that was scheduled. He was very thorough and emailed an estimate at 1 PM the same day. The work was scheduled within a reasonable time, and I was even contacted to offer earlier dates when they became available. Ian and Jose arrived on time and did an excellent job. They cleaned up and reviewed changes with me. Along the way I received email and text reminders. Kuhlman really is a class act. read more

I knew I needed my knob and tube wiring replaced and have been dreading it, but Kuhlman Electrical Services made it easier than I could have imagined. Despite a location that other electricians told me would be difficult (second floor unit of a triple-decker), despite old crumbling plaster walls and ceilings... KES did the work quickly and with minimal disruption to my life! They cleaned up fully every day before leaving, and the work took 3 days less than predicted. Ervis made me feel comfortable and confident beginning with the initial assessment, taking time to explain everything to me and offer me options. He also didn't try to upsell me on more switches/outlets/etc than I wanted, only explaining when he thought something would be really useful or pointing out something I hadn't taken into account. They also added an outdoor light for me! To top it all off, the quote was less than I got from two other electricians, and there were no unexpected costs. KES was recommended by a family friend and I'm so glad I listened! read more

KES is always amazing! Chris and his team installed exterior outlets for our patio, Rewired our kitchen after we learned everything was all on one breaker, grounded wires and came out after already putting in lots of overtime last week. Their customer service is amazing and we absolutely love working with KES. Thanks for fitting us in! read more

I purchased smart light switches for my Alexa and needed a trust worthy electrician to install them. I found Kuhlman by searching online and I'm glad I chose them because this has to be the best company I've ever worked with. From my first initial email and interacting with customer service to the electricians being in my home, I have never been so impressed with the professionalism, the kindness and communication from a company. It was so easy to schedule an appointment, and I received reminders for the appointment along with a window of time for which the electricians would arrive to my home, which was very helpful as I have a busy schedule. On the day of my appointment, the electrician called to let me know the ETA, which is even more helpful. During installation, the electricians were kind, respectful of my home, and communicated everything they were doing. They even stayed with me while I fiddled with my Alexa and got the switches set up on my phone and with the Alexa devices. Again, I have never been so impressed and I will definitely only be using Kuhlman for electrical needs in the future! read more

Kuhlman Electric - Smart switches installed and working perfectly. Switch on right is on (indicator light is on) and switch on left us off. - Electricians Near Me - Danvers, Massachusetts

The office personnel are friendly and very helpful. The electricians were excellent! They explained everything in detail and finished the work quickly. Highly recommend this company!! read more

I gave them a good review about a month ago but last week I had problems with the installed smoke alarms. I asked them if they could come over and check out the batteries since they started flashing and chirping. They said since I supplied my own alarms that they would have to charge me $175 for the follow up. I was shocked! It seems their work is not warranted or if you supply your own products assuming even light fixtures they won't back their work. Just a heads up for other homeowners. read more

Model professionals from start to finish, beginning with the friendly and responsive phone receptionists. The electricians who came for the quote were knowledgeable, patient and kind. The quote was very reasonable and the quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. I appreciated that they took the care to protect our floors and furniture and also checked in with me periodically to make sure things were being done accurately. They were also willing to work with me when one of my fixtures didn't arrive in time for the install date. I will certainly be using Kuhlman again for any electrical needs. read more

Moved into our new home only to find out that the special plug for the electric dryer does not work at all. Called the office, and Jesse put me on the schedule for the very next morning. Garry and his teammate were on time, very professional and neat. They even put cloth down on the hardwood and carpet to walk on! I really appreciate that! Job was done in under an hour for a reasonable price. I am very happy with the service and will definitely call these guys with any future electrical jobs. read more

I have used Kuhlman twice now and am very impressed. They are fast, professional, and it's easy to get a real person on the phone. On my last call they upgraded two breakers in my panel, installed a whole house surge protector, and checked multiple outlets for wire issues--all within the one hour basic service call window. I will definite use them again. read more

Kuhlman Electric did a great job. We had a couple of circuit breakers that had been tripping for normal usage, and they quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. The employees were friendly and professional, so I would definitely hire them again if the need ever arises. read more

This business was very responsive and professional in their communication. We had a couple electricians ghost us in the past so it was great to experience good communication. We ended up selecting a different company because they were able to complete the work the same day, while Kuhlman would do an estimate first and then schedule the work later. However, if you are wanting to shop for price or schedule future work, this company was great to work with. read more

Kuhlman was professional, responsive and prompt. I was able to get a competitive quote and the work was done quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend and will have them back for future work! read more

In our two-family home we needed to update the two units' panels, meters, the whole works. It's not like we were dying to spend several thousand on a new system, since the old one (1970's?) was still working fine. But we were advised of safety issues and home resale problems. David showed up for an estimate at the appointed time and was very informative. We received an estimate from Kuhlman 20% lower than the others we had. On the appointed day, they showed up promptly at 7:30 in the morning and started right in. Ervis and Cody worked straight through the day in 95 degree heat! We had power back on for dinnertime. The quality of the work is excellent and they did it right on schedule - with no surprises. There's not much else you could ask for when it comes to hiring a contractor! read more

I needed a few fans installed so I reached out to Kuhlman Electrical services. From start to finish, this company provided excellent customer service! During the initial consultation, the owner was thorough in talking out my options with me. He remained very responsive as I reached out to him many times in asking questions on the types of fans to purchase, options to go with, etc. The electricians who performed the work today were courteous, did a great job, and even took care to clean up after themselves (they brought their own vacuum!). It's not hard to see why this company is so highly rated...I would definitely recommend them! read more

Great job! As always, on time, efficient and cost worthy. Don't go anywhere else for your electric needs.

Jesse and his team have done multiple projects for us ranging from the simple (swap in a new fixture) to large renovation projects. They are dependable, competent and creative. I absolutely recommend them without reservation. read more

They don't care about potential new customers they say they will get back to you within 24 hours , they don't . A managed to get someone on the phone the second day and she promised to call me back so we could set up a time to get some work done and a quote , well that never happened . Day 4 I gave up on them and found another company. I Would give it less than one star if I could. They will never get my business now. Don't believe the five star rating on their Facebook page if they don't like a review they just remove it so they can keep a 5-star rating. read more

I have used KES (Kuhlman Electrical Services) twice and they are the most knowledgeable, neat, courteous and helpful electricians I've ever used. The first time I used their services I was having a hard time with several appliances and electronics malfunctioning in a totally random way. I suspected that it was something related to the electricity itself, affecting so many equipment in different locations, and I called the electrical company (provider) and tried to have their assistance but they were of little or no help. KES' electricians came in and they tested everything that they could and without giving up, they pinpointed a faulty (probably rusty) connection at the neutral wire coming from the pole. They contacted the electrical company and stayed there until they fixed the contact clamps on the pole. Since then, I never had any problems again with my appliances, computers and electronics. The second time, they upgraded my electrical service, from 60 Amps to a 200 Amps, giving me plenty of power and room in the main panel for all the new needed circuits, as we were renovating. Their price was absolutely competitive and they were so neat: no mess left behind! I'm very satisfied with them and I'd highly recommend them to all my friends and family. Thanks for reading. read more

We had a great experience with KES, and will recommend them to our friends. Our house needed a complete re-wire, and the job needed to be done in a short time-frame. Jesse and his team were very accommodating to our schedule, allowing us to get in to the house on time. Jesse proved himself exceedingly knowledgeable, making sure we had all the information we needed to make decisions on how the wiring was to be done, and offering good suggestions on features we hadn't considered. He went out of his way to get our inspection passed in a timely manner. The work KES did was high quality and efficient. They made sure to work around/with the schedules we had for other work being done (painting, plumbing, etc.). As a bonus for such high quality work, their price was very competitive (lower than two other estimates we received). Very happy we went with KES, and will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Great communications throughout the entire job. They were fast to come out and provide a free quote. Got us on the schedule as soon as they could and were able to work with our availability when we needed to make a change. The crew worked hard while they were on site and left the work area the way that it was when they came, cleaning everything up and removing any debris. I'd highly recommend for any jobs that involve replacing old knob and tube boxes to up-to-code electric boxes. Thank you! read more
