PW DiMasi Electric - Electricians Near Me - Waltham, Massachusetts

I had an appliance that burned in an outlet. I wasn't sure if it was the appliance or the outlet. PW DiMasi was very quick in getting back to me, they were out the next day - during Thanksgiving season!! They realizes there was a loose connection in the outlet. They checked the other outlet I had in the kitchen and replaced both. Less than a half hour for the whole thing!! Amazing service, very polite and efficient workers. I keep going back to DiMasi whenever I have any electrical work that needs to be done, big or small, and they are always amazing. read more

We completed several extensive electrical projects in our home, including a 200-amp panel upgrade. Peter and his team were professional, responsive, and consistently delivered high-quality workmanship. We are extremely pleased with our decision to work with PW DiMasi. read more

I had a small job, put out about 6 calls, got return calls from about 3, but DiMasi was the first to respond, offered the earliest service appointment (though it was late in the day) came on time, and made quick work of the job, at a reasonable rate. He will be our go-to electrician going forward. read more

Excellent service: prompt, thorough, and communicative. We had two puzzling issues and Ernest solved both of them (each was something that a previous electrician had given up on: a non-working Nest thermostat and non-working underfloor heating). It took some detective work and time-consuming testing and set-up - but delighted to have the problems finally fixed. Would definitely use PW DiMasi again. read more

TLDR: great communication, installed two bedroom ceiling fans that were not straightforward, and will hire again. I reached out to PW DiMasi over Yelp to install two ceilings fan in my newly purchased home. The owner is quickly responded and was able to provide a quote over email. Team members were able to come out the day after our fans were delivered and showed up on time and got to work quickly. Our ceilings previously had a flush mount light, it the attic supports were too far apart for our fans. The team members quickly acquired some lumber and scrambled up to our very tight attic to build out a box and proceeded with the installation. The team kept us updated throughout the process and were able to get the job done in one day, despite our home's oddity. We will definitely be reaching out to DiMasi with any future electrical concerns! read more

We called a few other electricians before we found PW DiMasi. They were all scheduling months out, or didn't bother to return our call. We heard from PW DiMasi, and although they were busy they found time to look at the job and were able to schedule the work much sooner. We were so happy that we finally decided to pull the trigger on another project, and I could not be happier. It was a pleasure to have the crew in the house. Everyone was so friendly, and efficient. They got the jobs done quickly. If I didn't find PW DiMasi, we would have been still waiting on someone to finish the first electrical job. I cannot wait to use them for additional home projects and I suggest that you do the same! read more

Peter DiMasi came highly recommended from our realtor to help us up our electrical capacity, bring some things up to code that were not done correctly by the previous owner and install a plug for an induction oven. He was responsive, provided a clear quote up front and came in on budget. His team was very professional and diligent, worked hard and showed up when they said they'd be here. They even went above and beyond and helped out with a challenging oven delivery person who was not easy to work with. We would definitely reach out to Peter and his team again for any electrical needs. read more

This company is a true rarity! Peter did something no other tradesman has ever done in my 50+ years as a homeowner and property manager. For starters, he responded to my request for a quote immediately. He provided me with a specific written description of the work and the price. His crew showed up on the scheduled day and time. They were intelligent, neat, polite and professional. Then, the totally unexpected message from Peter! His guys did the job in less time than he scheduled for, so he reduced the bill! I was completely satisfied with the work and the original quote and would have gladly paid it. This is one of the benefits of dealing with a locally owned family business - you deal with real people who take pride in their work and their family name and "do the right thing". I've called DiMasi Electric several times to help me install lights for other issues. The service is always outstanding and they put extra care into all aspects of the job. I initially called Peter for some advice on an outdoor electrical outlet for a pool and he spent extra time with me to help me figure out a solution, even though I ended up not doing that particular job. He's always able to find time in the schedule to help with small projects and charges a very reasonable amount. read more

When I purchased my home, I needed to quickly get an estimate to bring a number of things up to code. Of the electricians that gave me an estimate Peter was the only one to: 1) Shake my hand and give me a business card upon meeting me 2) Exhibit a measured "OMG" at the work that needed to be done (the others' reactions were not as measured) 3) Provide a professional, detailed estimate, even before the formal written one and 4) Have a productive conversation with me as to what should be done. So, that was a great start before any work was done. The quasi-extensive work was completed to my highest expectations and in a very timely manner. The guys on his crew are great, personable, and appear to really know their stuff. I intend on using Peter's services from here on out. read more

They did a great job installing three light fixtures. The light fixtures were complicated as they were ordered from overseas. Peter DiMasi gave us advice when we sent him links to the lights. He helped us make sure they'd work in our house and that we ordered the correct voltages and lumens. The lights look great. Also everyone at PW DiMasi was really friendly. We were home during the installation and they were patient and helpful when we had some questions. Also they worked with us to make sure the kitchen fixture was installed at a height we were happy with. We're planning on using them again for an upcoming project. Highly recommend. read more

DiMasi Electric has helped us on several occasions with major electric work. In our 120 year old quirky house, they completely rewired our second floor and attic, performed outlet and lighting upgrades on our first floor and will soon upgrade our service. They come when they say they will, clean up every day, minimize cutting and patching. The crew is very polite and professional. The owner responds promptly to calls, knows how to work effectively with town inspectors, and knows thoroughly the codes. We recommend DiMasi Electric highly. read more

Top marks for PW DiMasi. I used Peter and his team to wire a new home gym I was building in my basement. To start, his estimate was prompt, free and the most reasonable of three I received. I hired him for half down, half upon completion. He scheduled the work quickly and the two electricians on his team who did the work were personable and high quality. He didn't nickel and dime for the little extra work I asked his guys to do. Perhaps as important as all that, Peter is just a really nice guy. He was gracious when I screwed up and wasn't home for an appointment. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to use Peter again and recommend him without reservation. read more
