Electrical Solutions was notably responsive, prompt, efficient and professional. I coordinated with Mike to replace the bathroom exhaust fan in my apartment. Mike was a pleasure to communicate with. I've not worked an electrician before until this job, and Mike was able to answer all of the questions I had. In less than 2 weeks of speaking, we agreed to a service date. Mike sent out his associate, Max, who was prompt, professional, polite and clean. After the work was completed, I paid the quoted price, which was VERY reasonable. I'm so grateful that Electrical Solutions took this project on. It's such a small job, but I'm very much enjoying our new bathroom exhaust fan. Thank you again for your time and care! read more

I was happy to find Electrical Solutions to replace an ancient fluorescent fixture and two switches. Mike's responsiveness, communication, and attention to detail stood out to me. He patiently answered all my rookie questions. His accurate estimate was more competitive than the other estimates I received. Excellent pricing and professionalism--seems an increasingly hard combo to find. I would not hesitate to contact him again. read more

Great communication. Got my light fixture replacement done quickly and effectively. Will use again.

Alex from electrical Solutions did a great job replacing a pancake box with a fan rated box. Showed up on time, persevered through some really old and difficult to remove legacy piping, and made sure the job got done. Add to all this the fact that it was done for the originally quoted amount, even with the unexpected difficulty, and you couldn't ask for more from an electrician. read more

They we're great. price was exactly what they quoted and when they found an additional issue with my plug the charge was very reasonable. I got a new plug and breaker for a super price. Not only that but they responded within the day and came the very next day! how crazy is that? They said they'd be there from 10-12 and they were there at 10 am sharp. The electrician Lucas was awesome, friendly and helpful and even put on those boot covers so he wouldn't track mud. Super professional, fast response and tidy work. He also spent time explaining what is going on with my system. I will be using these guys for my electrical needs from now on. Five Stars. read more

Hired to remove knob and tube wiring, signed off on removal of knob and tube (including attic) so that we could get insulation sprayed in (including in the attic), then later told us we still had active knob and tube in the attic. Other jobs went well, but this was enough for us to look elsewhere. read more

The ceiling light in my kids' bedroom fell out of the ceiling ~10pm and was hanging halfway to the floor by the cord. I contacted half a dozen electricians via Yelp and Mike was the first to answer, saying he'd be here in the morning. And he showed up when he said he would, with a text message heads up first. He and another person reset the ceiling light and anchored it in the ceiling somehow so it wouldn't fall again, and completed the job within 30 mins. The responsiveness was fantastic and I am so relieved the light was fixed so quickly! read more

Mike was awesome. I asked for a quote on a weekend for two new 240V outlets to be pulled and a 120V outlet to be extended, and he was out first thing Monday to check it out, and the work was done by the afternoon on Friday. Everything was fast, efficient, straightforward and high-quality. read more

Mike is a great guy - Put a direct line into my outdoor security camera, and also repaired a broken GFCI outlet. I had an appointment for end of week, but he had an opening and he managed to fit me in a day earlier, which was really convenient. I contacted Mike due to his Yelp reviews and could not have been happier. I emailed him in a panic a couple days before memorial day weekend when my pool pump blew. Well Mike must have heard the despair in my situation and managed to squeeze me in although I KNOW he was slammed and probably didn't really want to add more to his plate before the long weekend. He was fast, efficient and affordable. Mike also can and will respond/ communicate via texts which is a huge plus for people with busy lifestyles and may not be able to call or answer their phone during the work day. read more

Mike arrived earlier and is responsible. He spent time troubleshooting and finally found the root cause and that saved me another big bill for a potential larger project. Will definitely consider for any electrical projects. read more

This is the third time we've hired Mike to work on electrical issues at our home in Hull. Every time, he showed up as promised, repaired everything right the first time and was personal and professional. As for the Rating of Stars, if I could, I'd give him 10 Stars at least. Some contractors are reliable, others as we all know are terrible. Mike Medzhidov is one of those who are Superb at what they do and treat their customers with respect and a sense of urgency to resolve their electrical issues. Thanks Mike!! We called Mike to come diagnose a problem in our unit where we had random circuit breakers trip. One day it would be our fridge and a few weeks later it would be my washer. When we returned from our trip to find our fridge had turned off and the place smelled terrible, we finally knew we needed professional help. I booked Mike to come by on a Thursday but a few days prior my wife bought a ton of groceries and she called me at work in a panic to say the fridge won't turn back on. This was at the height of the pandemic so I reached out to Mike to see if he would be willing to fit us in that very day. He came a few hours later and diagnosed and fixed the problem for us and then even called me and put me on speakerphone to explain everything again. He checked in that day via text as well. Thank you very much, this appointment was almost a year and a half ago but I knew I needed to leave a review to show why he will be our go to electrician for any future work. Thanks again Mike! read more

I hired Mike to button up wiring in attic (100 year old house), connect an antique chandelier, and to find and fix switch to a back spot light. Mike showed up as promised, with an assitant, repaired wiring, and offered advice on upgrading equipment like bathroom fan for higher efficiency. He was fast, honest and charged a fair price. I 'm feel lucky to have found him. I will be recommending him to neighbors and friends. Jennifer G. read more

I live in California now and rent out my condo in Jamaica Plain. Of course, since I left, the previously idyllic condo now has flooded, lost power, had cabinets fall off the bathroom wall and required a ceiling fan in the bathroom. It has been difficult, to say the least, to find good help from far away (the people I had lined up before I left all flaked out on me). The ceiling fan has proven the most difficult; finding someone trustworthy was proving impossible. After receiving ridiculous quotes (i.e. $3000!?!?) and having more people flake out on me, I was desperate. I happened upon Service Magic and picked Mike based on the reviews I saw.... Finally, a great choice!!!! He showed up to meet my tenants on time, did all of the work in one day and fixed the other electrical problems I was having (which had eluded two other electricians) for a very reasonable price. I have not seen the work, but my tenants say it is great and he seemed very trustworthy. Plus, he said it was a difficult job, but still did all on time and for the price quoted. He was a lifesaver when I thought it was a lost cause! read more
