The coordination was smooth and they fit me in earlier than I expected. They did a thorough diagnosis of potentially severe problems/fixed them and upgraded the condo's entire electrical system at a fair price. During the visit, the technician spent very little time explaining the condition of my wiring or how much knob-and-tube wiring was actually present. I left with more questions than answers and didn't receive the detailed assessment I was expecting. Instead, the conversation quickly shifted toward recommending expensive electrical work without first providing a clear explanation of the inspection findings. Considering the upfront fee, I don't feel the assessment provided good value. I expected a thorough evaluation, a detailed explanation of the results, and enough information to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

A separate line for my air conditioning unit, 2 or 3 outlets fixed, overhead lighting fan removed etc. They came out and did everything the very next day. It's always been that way, too! For over 16 years! I just found these reviews because a friend of mine needs some electrical work done and I needed the phone number to pass on to her. Finally, the power failed utterly to the problem circuits. Markarian sent Brandon Hill over in 15 minutes -- yes, FIFTEEN. He listened carefully to our description, gave his opinion that it was a utility problem, but that he would test for other possibilities first. After testing some of the circuits, he gave his hypothesis that we were having a phase problem: one of the two lines into the house was not supplying enough voltage. He tested the meter outside, showed us the low voltage on one line, and explained how the lines feed the circuits in a pattern that would cause the unpredictable outages. He also took pictures. He stood by while we called Eversource to make sure that we could answer all their questions. From initial call to final diagnosis, everyone at Markarian was efficient, courteous, and helpful. Brandon was friendly, professional, and easy to talk to and understand. I would recommend Markarian without hesitation.
