Another couple came after us and two waitresses were cleaning their table because the couple was at a dirty table, then the same one of the waitresses took their order, smh. On our way back from Detroit Airport dropping off my son for a year in Kuwait. (Sobbing) Just a minute or 2 off 75 to this place. It sits in a strip mall nothing fancy but we're here for the food. Was greeted after we sat down. Very friendly and personable. Coffee right out. Our food was out in no time. Everything was cooked wonderfully. My sausage links were great. Nice flavor. Potatoes on point. Maybe I was just starving?? Lol.. No everything was great and for $24.50 we didn't leave hungry. If I'm in the area again I will be back to try out the lunch menu. Driving up from Cleveland to Detroit I stopped here to have breakfast. I was just going have pancakes but ended up getting steak and eggs and potatoes. The food was decent. My favorite were the pancakes. Coffee was my least favorite. I did get lots of food for $25. Service was good. Looks like it's run by a family. Good peoples. YUM! Quick stop in Toledo and we found this on our way out of town. Our server was Jeni and she was so friendly and took great care of us. The place was PACKED and everyone was working hard, which is a nice change of pace compared to most places these days. The food took a little while - however Jeni made us aware of that when she took our order. Our drinks were refilled and the wait wasn't bad at all. The food was FANTASTIC. Her husband back in the kitchen frying up the eggs, and her daughter cleaning up tables. This is a real mom-n-pop affair. Just like we like it. The menu looked worrisome. No graphic designers were employed in the making of this document. The offerings we're expected, and classic. That said, the food we ordered was good. My wife got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Croissants aren't typically offered at diners, and if they are it's usually an up-charge. She requested extra crispy bacon and it was perfectly cooked. My mexican omelette was great. Wonderfully greasy with cheddar cheese and chorizo. I subbed the potatoes for grits, and the grits were GOOD. Grits! They have grits! I know it's a small thing, but I love grits. When we asked for hot sauce, she asked "what kind?" and offered up several varieties. More toledo restaurants should take note. Being treated like a regular on a first visit promises we're going to become regulars. Yes, the place is a little dingy and hole-the-the-wally, but for me that ads to the charm. The local regulars gave us a look when we went in. That's pretty normal I guess. I appreciated the plexiglass between tables, the only covid precaution I saw. We both had breakfast for lunch. The eggs Benedict were fabulous. Some if the best I had. Just the right ratio of egg:muffin:holandaise. Really good. I would definitely stop back again for lunch. Have been going here for about 2 years now. There bacon is stellar some of the best thick cut bacon I've ever had and for a decent price. KT's biggest selling point for me is the hospitality. Often times you'll see KT the owner either working the kitchen or serving food up front. She's accompanied by a few other servers that always like to have a chat. I personally like family owned businesses and like the privacy I feel at a more laid back environment. I'm the manager at another breakfast place I also have been to other breakfast places in toledo such as Red Star diner, Star Diner, Scramblers, River View Diner, and The original pancake house. I always find my self back at KT's though. Even if you don't live out in the Point please give this place your support. If you like your bacon crisp ask for it to be Hella Crispy! read more

Be prepared---the location can seem a little off as well as the inside of the restaurant. We went based on Yelp reviews. Hit or miss how that all works. The place just does not seem clean. I was nervous just using the silverware or drinking from the cups. Yes, like that. Eggs, omelet, pancakes on the order. Other party liked the eggs, just would have wanted them hot. Same goes for the omelet. The pancakes---nope. No flavor. The potatoes were okay, but again--not served hot. For only 2 other people in the place when we were there, and our server not bringing us our food---would have expected hot food. We stayed in the area over the weekend and decided to skip the hotel breakfast - just blech! - and find a diner. Less than a mile away, there was KT's. We called first to make sure they were open on Labor Day, and showed up a few minutes later. Service was good. Food was delicious. I had corned beef hash, eggs over medium, and an English Muffin, along with hot tea. G had a mushroom and cheese omlette with toast.
