Such a cute fun place!!! We live in the middle of nowhere so we were happy to find a place that had fancy food and coffees with lots of treats and ice cream! Only open on the weekends which made for a cute date anniversary date for us. Thank you for the staff giving us the rundown on how to order and get seated! Can't wait to be back! read more

Grace's Kitchen - Happy customers on a date!!! - American Near Me - Toledo, Ohio

I was here once before and had a disappointing experience with a grilled chicken sandwich but decided to give this quaint place another try for breakfast fare- and so glad I did! My dog's groomer is right across the street or else I would have missed out. I walked in and ordered at the register. The menu is written on a chalkboard. I was hoping for a spinach omelette but they were out of spinach (same as last time I was there). Instead I opted for a veggie omelette with cheese. I also ordered a coffee. The way their system works is that you place your order and pay; then you're seated and your beverage/food is brought to your table. I sat in a booth and my coffee was very promptly brought out to me. The ambiance is absolutely adorable with red and white tablecloths and balloons. There is also an ice cream counter. It was a very pleasant setting in which to enjoy my coffee. Within a reasonable amount of time, my omelette was served with a side of toast. The omelette was huge and filled with lots of tasty tomatoes, onions and green peppers, all finely chopped and perfectly seasoned. Hash browns were also tucked inside the omelette. Although the cheese had been forgotten, I didn't miss it too much because the omelette itself was so delicious. The toast was served with delicious homemade strawberry jam. I could only eat half of the omelette and was given a box to take it home. My server was a very sweet young girl who kept checking to see if I needed anymore coffee and if everything tasted good. At a nearby table, a woman spilled her glass of water and people from the kitchen immediately came out to clean it up. They were extremely good spirited and reassured the embarrassed woman that it happened all the time and was no problem. The atmosphere felt very warm and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend Grace's Kitchen in Point Place as a charming spot for breakfast or lunch. It's on Summit Street across from Aunt Linda's Pet Grooming and H&R Block. Check out the picture of my omelette and the inside of Graces Kitchen. (For some reason they appear below my prior review.) While other reviews note that this is a cash-only establishment, I used a credit card both times I was there, though I left a cash tip on the table this time. read more

If you're looking for a nice spot for breakfast or lunch ON THE WEEKENDS (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 7:30 am to 2 pm), look no further than Grace's Kitchen in Point Place. Location: Although GK is readily accessible, for most people in Toledo, the location isn't great...only Rudy's and La Chalupa, both in Shoreland, are located further to the Northeast. I've never eaten lunch here, but I can tell you that GRace serves some excellent omelets, French toast, and pancakes. The frozen drinks and the coffee drinks are interesting and fun, if not a little campy. A significant amount of the menu is made from scratch, including, for example, the strawberry preserves for your toast. Portion sizes are just right. Omelets come with two slices of toast, and for me, that's perfect. The place is small, but the atmosphere is cozy, clean, and the service is fast and friendly. The service model is a atypical for a breakfast spot. You place your order and pay (CASH ONLY) at the counter, take your seat, and then your food is brought out to you. The building itself is very cool. It was constructed in 1960 and it's a nice example of toned-down midcentury modern architecture. It's basically a volume of rotation created by rotating a right trapezium through 90 degrees, with the axis of rotation being it's shortest side. So...if it sounds as though I'm trying to seem smart, I'm not. I'll freely admit that I'm a dumbass...If I were actually intelligent, I'd eat at Grace's more often. FIVE STARS from this dumb shit right here! read more

This is a cash only establishment. In these days of "touch less payment" very unique. The order counter is old school. Menu on a chalk board. Orders taken on a "guest check" pad. Totaled on a calculator and the dupe is passed to the cooks. All in all the food was very good, portions are moderate and service was quick. Order your food, sit down and have your food brought to your table. I would return again. Give it a try! read more

This is a very cute café where you order from a chalkboard menu and the food is brought to your table. I had oatmeal with fruit and granola and a s'mores latte. The latte was generously sized and presented beautifully. It was chocolatey and sweet and made for quite a treat with breakfast. The oatmeal was old fashioned oats served with strawberries and blueberries, milk and a crispy topping. It was very good oatmeal prepared cleanly and simply. My dining partner had an omelet that he was pleased with. There was plenty of meat and he said the coffee was very good as well. read more

Cute cafe/diner with great breakfast options...and it's in our neighborhood! Food and service has always been great. Atmosphere is friendly and clean (although my husband complains that the sun in the windows is too much and window coverings are needed.) Not sure what effect the pandemic has had on Grace's Kitchen...hours have been limited, transactions are cash only, and I think the restaurant is now "closed for the season". But the pop up holiday cookie shop they had there this year was fabulous! I supplemented my own baking with their beautiful and delicious cut out cookies. read more

I typically come here a couple times per year when visiting family who live nearby. My mom likes super crispy bacon and is always pleased, and she likes their French toast options. Their omelettes are good and they have fun coffee creations. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. We even popped in over the Christmas holidays for to-go coffees right at their closing time, but they still had coffee and they were cheerful and gave us some extras! read more

MY oh MY!! this is super cool little breakfast place near the lake. Get there early seating is limited! This is family owned and they are very engaged with the community, customers, and the menu. They are famous for the super-sized coffees with the perfect swirl! Chocolate waffles and pancakes wow!!! the portions are really big, so don't be afraid to share! I love the omelets but have yet to finish one as they are huge for only about 10 bucks! Super staff, my daughter eats here every Sunday and they treat her like family. read more

What a great little restaurant in Point Place! Visiting family and this is the place to go for breakfast! Grace's has something for everyone from the great menu of food and even a smoothie bar! Amazing! This place is wonderful. Service was great. The Atmosphere was unique and inviting from the outside to the inside and the food - the food was wonderful. I am not a breakfast person and usually opt for "lunch like" choices during the breakfast/brunch hour but this time I was enticed by the menu and unique descriptions of breakfast foods. I choose the banana pancakes which were the best pancakes I've ever had and makes me want to go back to try the other flavors like chocolate chip or cinnamon bun. The streusel topping made the pancakes sweet and more like a dessert than typical boring breakfast. The single helping of sausage and biscuit was huge and equally delicious. The size of both justify what was first thought to be an overpriced menu. The quantity and quality make the prices more than fair. I love this place. It meats the mark on all counts. A gem' read more

Delicious! Stopped by for breakfast while visiting the Toledo/Erie area. The food was terrific! Staff staff members were wearing masks and there were outdoor tables for those who want to maintain some distance. The food took a little while but it was because it was all being made fresh. Definitely worth a slightly longer wait! read more

I'm so disappointed in this restaurant, it has gone way downhill. I tried it again last week to 'give it another chance', yet the same. If I want to wait on myself, I'll stay home and tip myself. Order food. Pickup. Refill your own coffee. Eat on paper plates. Clean your own table. You do it all, and they expect you to tip them?! No. I absolutely love their coffee, and the minor working in the back is so kind and helpful. Food has declined tremendously as well. Grace's once was my favorite. read more

Friendly service, fun treats, and my daughters love the iced coffee. Such a cute little place!

I visited Grace's Kitchen for the first time today and have already told multiple people about this chic, little restaurant. It's warm, the staff is welcoming, and the food is delicious! I tried the Strawberry Stuffed French Toast and made my own coffee concoction. The food is reasonably priced and did I mention delicious?! While it wasn't a problem, just a heads up, they're currently only accepting cash for payment. read more

When I first moved to Toledo in 2014, this was the best breakfast place hands down here. It had absolutely amazing service, delectable pancakes, scrumptious French toast, and wonderful egg combinations. It most assuredly had some of the most original ideas for breakfast. Now, you order at a window, essentially serve yourself, have disposable plates and silverware, and many of those original options are gone. But, the price is still high sadly. I'm not sure what happened but I've tried several times in the past year and it just isn't good anymore. I hope they return to their roots on what made this place amazing. Having once owned a food serving business I know how quickly things can change. If it's staffing that's a problem, then maybe reduce tables and return to your homey feel rather than one of take out. read more

nice little spot with good food and service for a good price. would definitely recommend

Little place but good food. Had the meat lovers omelette and biscuits and gravy. We went on a weekday, so it wasn't busy. We'd go back :)

Cute little breakfast spot in the Point. Almost every table was full when I was there, so that's always a good sign. The food didn't disappoint. They have all the classic breakfast options plus some fancy French toast options. My friends and I shared theRaspberry Streusel French Toast and it was delicious (very sweet for a full meal, but a perfect side to my eggs and potatoes). My friends also raved about the coffee, and the restaurant offers a ton of flavor options for the coffee. read more

The food is delicious and good size portions ..they got great coffee...there's also deli case with to go pastries .. go try Graces you will not be disappointed read more

Grace's Kitchen in point Place is a nice neighborhood restaurant. The food and the service is great and inexpensive. They do have some more expensive items on their menu if you'd like to eat a mountain. Their specialty pancakes and omelettes are especially nice. What's nice is that is an easy jump off from I 75 and back on for your home cooked food. read more

Food great, coffee bad, great people, sticky table. Overall, I'd really recommend it!

What a cute restaurant, first time ever going there had great service and the food was typical diner type.

Love this place !!! Try the stuffed French toast with the homemade granola on top . You will crave it ..trust me . Great waitstaff, and we have never had a complaint . Thanks Jennifer and Michele read more

Not sure why I never reviewed this place because I enjoyed the best buffalo chicken wrap ever! I unfortunately have not tried their breakfast but I am hoping to come back soon. My entire family has gone here on a regular basis and been loyal customers. My son is autistic and has a very specific diet and as we always have, when we go there in large groups spending good money and leaving good tips, we always take food for my son since he has specific needs. This has been the case many times over and has never been a problem. Today management felt the need to humiliate my mother in front of many customers by forcing her to leave because she brought food for my son as we always have. So apparently there is zero understanding for special needs children in this establishment. I will NEVER return and I will be sure that nobody, especially the 100+ family members and thousands of followers I have on social media want to go there anymore either. Thank you for mistreating my mother and my autistic son, you'll never have my business again! read more

This is my favorite breakfast place...period. Their omelettes are delicious. I typically get the Western, they sauté the onions and peppers perfectly. However, the really star of the show is their French toast. You can order with incredible toppings. The raspberry granola is amazing. My only dodge on this place is the coffee. I am a coffee snob and it's just not strong enough! All in all, you MUST eat here. read more

The food was terrible, sausage gravy should had been called sausage soup. My husbands western omlet was very dry, hardly any cheese. Best part of the meal was the coffee and water!. We have been coming to King's Taste and Graces Kitchen for years. They closed for a bit in the fall, maybe they need to stay closed! read more

Food is good Over price depends what day you get good service . I guess there hours depends on them. There has been time you show up and there closed this has happened alot this summer. Can not handle being busy. read more

Wonderful service! I'm allergic to some sweeteners and wanted a "special" coffee. Our waitress went and started reading the ingredients to see if i could have some, very thoughtful and generous of her to take the time to do that for me. Another reason why this cafe has outstanding service, we were there before the official start of lunch time and my husband asked if he could have something from that menu. Without hesitation we were told yes, we just couldn't have French fries or homemade chips that early, because the fryer hadn't been turned on. Again very gracious. We had a delicious corn beef omelet, yum and my hubby had a half of a Ruben sandwich and soup. Sandwich was good. Soup was ok. Had croutons in it that had a bad oil flavor. Only thing from keeping this review from being 5 stars. If you want to experience a home town cafe with great food, atmosphere and service, go to Graces. You won't be disappointed!!! read more

Always amazing service and great food for low price. Oatmeal chocolate chip cookie pancakes are to die for!

Try the French Toasts. They are unbelievably good. Just had the Mixed Berry one after having both Raspberry Strudel and Apple before. They just get better and better. Home fries are a must have. read more

The food is mediocre and the service was slow. As expensive as Grace's Kitchen is, I was not impressed and will not be returning.

I love this place for breakfast. Intimate, and they have great coffee and pancakes. The service is always polite, but they can get pretty busy. I am here a couple times a month because I live nearby. Went there yesterday for lunch and had an amazing time. Fantastic restaurant awesome food and excellent service. You have to try this gem.

Adorable place to get breakfast or brunch. The prices are pretty reasonable. I've gone here a few times and the service has always been great.
