My brother had an issue with his iPhone 4 not being able to charge when it was plugged on. Called different places until I found this place on yelp. I'm pretty happy that I ended up here. First of all the thing that stood out to me was the service. I waited only a few minutes until Kimmy helped me out. She was awesome. The whole time she had a big fat smile on her face. I told her that I needed the phone fixed as soon as possible and I know that she did everything she could to make that happen. I listened to the other guys in the shop when they were helping other customers and they were super nice too which is so important to me. I went in on Saturday to get my PS3 resurrected from the blinky state. Dropped it off just as the shop opened, was told it was probably the graphics card, I asked for rush, as I live an hour away. Was told it would be an hour and a half and they would call. I wandered San Jose for 3 hours, then drove back as I hadn't heard anything. Called from the parking lot, and was told that it was a total motherboard failure, that it would be another $60 bucks, and another hour. Sat in the parking lot reading, and they called back an hour later. I paid, grabbed my PS3, and went home. Finally got a chance to power it up today, and they've wiped my hard drive. 6 years of saved games and downloaded games/dlc gone. They didn't even mention it. Not a happy camper. read more

My MBP /2007 / A1226 had died with logic control board problem. I had searched here, on yelp and come across several mac repair centers. Most of them asked for 799 + tax. This place is garbage. Took my MacBook pro in to get fixed. They didn't call me for a week. I had to contact them to find out what was going on. Then after another week they said it was fixed so I took it home and still had the same problem with the laptop. So I took it back it and after another week they called me saying they had found the problem and I picked it up and it still does the same thing even worst now. Stay away from these guys. read more

Been here many many many times for my Iphone. I lost track in how many times I came here for broken screens, but K.T electronics always fixes it the same day I take it in. The price is reasonable and the service is even better. Went in today for a black screen just half hour before closing. I need my phone for my new job and I asked them if they can fix it before they closed and were gladly to do so. They called me 20 minutes later that they found out it was only a lose wire, they fixed it, and end up not charging me. Best place to go for broken Iphones! read more

If you need to get a question answered about your electronic needs, that support line is sure to give you an instant response. I contacted KT Electronics in order to get a quote for a broken iPhone 4 screen repair. The conversation started out as a promising one. On the KT website it says it is $85(new low price) for an iPhone screen repair. I asked how much it would cost to repair if I had my own brand new back up screen, and the response was $40. Then I asked how much would it cost to fix my home button and top power button; the KT respondent said: "$80 for both," seemed legit. Then the conversation took a turn for the worst when I mentioned the $20 iPhone repair discount. Do not ask about their "facebook like" $20 discount. All of a sudden they jacked the price up to $120. They said they would discount the $20 and my new price was $100. Do not ask about their "facebook like" $20 discount! Why they rose the price is beyond me. The KT respondent tried to make it seem as if he or she didn't know that I wanted to repair my screen, even though that was the major reason for my txt. This "facebook like" $20 discount mark up has also happened to a colleague of mine, he told me not to ask about it. I figured why not ask about a discount, it's a discount; what was the worst that could happen. All in all KT has speedy response time but does not have stable prices. If you want a firm price that will not change with hidden fees I'd advise you to go to a major retailer. If electronics are not your top priority, KT Electronics will be sure to provide you with their "new low price." read more

I had a problem with my laptop, three years ago. My hard drive needed to be replaced. Not only did they replace the hard drive, I was able to upgrade my hard drive for pennies more.....Fast forward, three years later, I came across a virus which almost whipped out most of my files. KT technicians were able to remotely and promptly reinstall software while in Dallas, TX. I'm now ready to do business again, thanks to KT. I felt as if I had my personal "help desk." Im torn between "Yay! Im a fan" & "WooHoo! As good as it gets!" because we're totally fans, but Im not sure that this is as good as it gets - but then again, I havent found any other place thats better - not that Ive been looking mind you. We've been doing business w/ KT since AT LEAST idk... 2006 maybe - ?? since the shop was located in the garage store front somewhere on the east side (really cant recall the exact location other than it was a major street near 680 i think?? - not real familiar w/ that area). We were referred there by my sisters X (who've also been doing business w/ KT FOREVER!). I gotta say: Ive always been treated w/ kindness & respect - so the customer service & professionalism of both KT & his staff are on point. Ive never felt cheated & have always felt that i was getting a good deal on everything from service to video game trade-ins. Ive always been taken care of & have always felt that the quality of repair service was also on point. They dont take forever to get your goods back to you & the one time we did have a problem, it was NO PROBLEM fixing it! So ya, we're totally fans & again, this is probably as good as it gets. When ever we've a want for electronics - pretty much of any kind, or something broken & needs to be fixed or just isnt working as efficiently, i swear to you & its so funny how the first thing out of my sons mouth is "TAKE IT TO MR. KT" or "LETS GO SEE MR. KT!" I recently purchased a Groupon for a 7' mini notebook. The thing broke in 2 days. Needless to say i was pretty disappointed. My son says TAKE IT TO MR. These guys are great, I first came in with my PS3 since the eject button would always jam and that was due to a little fiasco at a Halloween Party. I was horrified, felt a lil hopeless cause I didn't know if I could get it fixed or not. Then a shed of light came to save my PS3 and so I found KT Electronic Repair on yelp. It only took about 3 days to fix, I got the call, picked it up, and it was working like it was new. It was amazing. I gave them my laptop awhile ago, and it's fixed now so I'll be picking it up soon! It took about a month or so, but I wouldn't really blame the length of time on them.. Mostly my fault for a couple reasons. 1. I didn't really know what was wrong with it, so they had to do a diagnosis. 2. I smashed it up a bit cause I got irritated... So the damage inside must've been really hectic for them to fix. These guys are great. It may not be obvious, but this small modest shop uses high end precise machines to automate operations, temperature, etc. and increase quality.--Very cool. No wobbly soldering irons and cheap materials here! I brought in an XBOX 360 with '3 rings of death', and they proved to be experts. I love that they are essentially reducing high tech waste--it's up to us to be responsible and make the effort to try repair vs. buying new. Keeps the $$ local too. My gut says these guys are in the best bet category for a successful outcome, give it a shot. Lots of pride in their work, they seem to want more challenging repairs!. KT cares about their customers, they're very friendly and a great value. A couple blocks off 101 and well worth my drive from Palo Alto. Glad I tried KT Electronics, now I'm hooked. read more
