I tried Krust Kitchen today for the first time after finding it on yelp. I had no idea it even existed and I'm not even more than 1.5 miles away at most I went with the original thin pan I guess reminded me sort of like a bar pie which I love. If I had to compare it to other classic pizzerias, I would compare it to star Tavern or reservoir in South Orange. I got it from DoorDash so it was a little bit colder, but I expect that so it's not the restaurant fault at all. But once I heated it up, it was delicious and the crust was the way I like it with a little burnt ends. I will definitely go back and try the other stuff, but I'm not super into the Detroit style, but I do want to try the wings and send some other stuff. Would definitely order again. Fair pricing also even with door dash fees + tip

Highly recommend this place for take-out. Prices are higher than other pizza joints, but you're getting the quality you pay for. On top of that, the owner Keith is a real nice guy and great about answering your questions. This is take-out only and not really any waiting room so don't arrive too early or be prepared to wait in your car. Tried several of their pizzas along with a few of their appetizers, sandwiches, and desserts over the last couple years. Their Detroit Style is their most famous, but you can't go wrong with any of their specialities. I personally loved the New York Style as well as the Trenton Tomato. Toppings are a little pricy to add on but their ingredients are fresh, so it's worth it if you feel like splurging on pizza a little bit. Their non-pizza items are also done well, so it's not just purely a pizza spot, and really with the menu huge as it is, you can most certainly find something for pretty much anyone. Desserts are pretty solid too. It depends on what you like, as I've enjoyed some and others not as much. I'll always recommend the Creme Brûlée Cheesecake, which even stays good to eat the next day, if for whatever reason you end up deciding to save it. If I have a complaint, it's that they don't offer lunch during the week and are closed on Mondays, but hey small price to pay.

Krust Kitchen is one of my favorite places to go to. As soon as I walked in Keith was there with a big smile and we had a great conversation. The garlic knots are my favorite things on the menu. For the price you pay ($11 is paying cash), you get a dozen garlic knots and a pint of marinara sauce.

This joint is a solid 4 stars. The customer service was great. Kelly, the GM was so nice. The toasted ravioli wasn't memorable. The sauce was great with it. The creme brûlée cheesecake was fire. 5 stars. Obviously, scratch made. The detroit pie got mixed reviews. The toppings ended up getting smashed on the roof of the box but it turned out alright. Tons of gooey cheese. The pepperoni was very good. We enjoyed the corner slices very much. Definitely will be back since it's around the corner from us and the menu is extensive.

That's not gooey cheese, that's raw pizza dough from our Detroit style pie The Signal 11

PSA to anyone curious about the Detroit style pie to perhaps choose another option, or another pizzeria altogether. We heard about this place and decided to try it out for the first time after seeing some pretty great reviews and the pies looked great! Unfortunately, photos did NOT reflect the product we consumed. The pies were on the pale side, the crust on the 'hand tossed' pie or the pan pie compared to a Dominos pie (and I'm being generous by saying that). But what I am really writing this review about, is the Detroit style pie. PLEASE DO NOT get this pie unless you want to ingest raw pizza dough. It is clear that the center of the pie did not reach the proper internal temperature to fully cook the dough. I was hesitant to eat it when the cheese seemed barely melted on the top, but figured they follow basic food safety measures to ensure the internal temperature of the pie would result in a cooked product - I was wrong. We were both sick as a result of just eating a couple bites before pulling the cheese back and realizing the dough was still raw. We reached out to them via their contact form on their website and haven't heard back. Truly disappointed with the product and the lack of customer care as we wanted to alert them to avoid anyone else from getting sick.

Small shop, takeout only, and a lot of those fun splurge foods that you'd be looking for after a night out. They open at 4pm Tuesday through Saturday and are open late, catering to the night crowd. I tried the 16 inch large plain pizza and it was great - a thinner crust and perfectly crispy! Also tried the pumpkin cheesecake which was bursting with pumpkin flavor - I believe this was a seasonal specialty but it's nice to see their dessert options updated frequently. A cool place to try - not cheap but has a lot of unique fun foods you won't be able to find elsewhere in Madison!

Decided to try a new pizza place in Madison for pick up on Uber Eats. My Daughter didn't want pizza so she ordered The Big Tex which is a "loaded bomb" with shaved rib eye, pulled pork, bacon, cheddar and BBQ sauce. She wasn't a fan but so it goes. I ordered the Memphis BBQ with chicken, bbq sauce, jack & cheddar cheese blend with red onions. It was exactly what I wanted and very yummy. My wife had a personal pizza made custom which she enjoyed. My other daughter got The Detroiter which she thought was too thick. My Wife killed it off. Really nice people here. I liked it and would order again. Jury is out on rest of the family though. Give it a try. I'm glad I did.

My opinion on Salad has always been "okay I'll eat it as long as it isn't boring the 'F'''k' outta…read moreme" LOL!! Lettuce and Tomatoes are just toppings people, they're not a meal. So when we're talking about a really great Salad it has to have fresh flavorful ingredients, interesting textures, delicious protein portions, and dressing so amazing it demands my attention. Equally important too is a fair Value to Satisfaction ratio, am I satisfied with how much I spent and did it meet my expectations? And moving forward that's exactly how I rate a place that serves mostly Salads these days. With all that out of the way let's get into Chopt of Florham Park. - When I first stopped in here I was surprised at how huge the space is with plenty of seating options and an efficient ordering/ pickup area which moves along pretty quickly. Everything is made fresh to order so if you didn't already pre- order expect to wait a bit especially during peak hours. My go-to meal is based on variations of their Mexican Caesar Salad and since everything here is fully customizable it usually consists of: Grilled Chicken, Cotija Cheese, Jalapeño Peppers, Tortilla Chips, Romain Lettuce, and Mexican Caesar Dressing. It's a Super Solid Spicy Salad which is extremely satisfying and helps keep me going throughout even the busiest of days. Value to Satisfaction ratio: I have read where some people say that they charge more here for their meals but just as a friendly reminder you're really getting what you pay for. Especially when you take into consideration that all ingredients are sourced fresh locally and responsibly and contain no artificial preservatives whatsoever. And this fact remains evident in each and every tremendously delicious bite= YUMMMMMMERS !! Come And Get Your Salad Munch On!!

But when you're paying for a fresh salad experience, the quality of the toppings really matters. I'm hoping they step it up because the potential is definitely there.

On a Saturday at noon, our party of 3 was sat indoors immediately. I'd say the place was 80-90% full. They had wraps, soups, salads, and burgers on the menu. It's worth observing that there were no specials on offer. It's not that kind of place. I liked the crabby waffle fries, even if the seasoning was pretty heavy. My chicken Caesar wrap was crouton-forward. It was nice, but I wish it'd been more chicken and parm heavy. Our table split some onion rings that had absolutely dangerously tasty breading and almost no onions. The vibe inside was that of satisfied, talkative guests. All in all, I'd call Bottle Hill a place to grab a casual meal that won't disappoint.

Our waiter was nice and never made us feel rushed. They have a great beverage menu, different iced teas, mocktails, coffees and even refreshers! I went for the lavender lemonade but honestly I had a hard time deciding. So did my sister, she opted for a matcha and the hibiscus iced tea. I couldn't resist ordering the butter and jam board, it's the name of the restaurant, you have to order it! I had no regrets on this decision, was it a lot for two people? Sure. Did I enjoy it immensely? Absolutely. There were three butters- lemon, cinnamon, and berry. All 3 butters were amazing but my absolute favorite was the lemon. There were 3 jams- berry, strawberry, and I believe orange. I was obsessed with the lemon butter paired with the berry jam... heavenly! Honestly you can't go wrong with anything on that board. The breads for the spreads were croissant pieces, corn muffins and biscuits. I loved the biscuits the most. Unfortunately sister pretty was not feeling her best prior to our coming here, so she was content with the breads and spreads and opted to only get a smoothie with added protein. She said it was exactly what she needed and she perked up for the rest of our time together. I ordered the steak and eggs burrito and it did not disappoint! The steak was so juicy and tender- my only complaint is I wanted more!! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and there was a generous amount of avocado. It came out in a large plate and didn't have a side, I think they would do well to note on the menu or verbally when you're ordering that for an extra $___ you can get a side of fries, because I didn't think of it, but if it was told to me I definitely would have opted for a side. We had a great experience here and I would definitely go back and recommend to friends.
