This is our go to pizza place! Kevin is always a pleasure to work with and no matter how busy the place is, he's always very calm and kind. The pizza is always good and I love the fact you get a free soda with an entrée. We will keep going there over and over again! read more

Morris Pizzeria - Sausage Roll W/ Peppers, Onions, Mozzarella - Pizza Near Me - Morristown, New Jersey

Had two slices in mid afternoon. Edge of the crust too wide for my taste, and too much tomato sauce (I'm a fan of extra cheese), otherwise good pizza. Friendly service. Big space on the street corner with lots of sunlight pouring in through many windows. Nice vibe. A little pricy ($3.20 for a slice), though I suppose downtown rents are high. Has room for improvement. read more

When I am in the mood for the best plain cheese pur, this is the place. The right texture (thin, but not too thin), crust that has a great chew/bite (not burned), flavorful sauce, and right amount of cheese. The staff is incredibly nice as well. Highly recommend read more

Pizza is very good with a delicious sauce & reasonably priced. The owner, Kevin, was busy with customers but still helped me out to the car with the pizza & held my door until I got in before placing the pizza on the passenger side. This was such a great help as I have trouble with my knees. What a gentleman!! Thanks again! read more

We ordered cheesesteaks here... Which is something I never do, I'm from Philadelphia and nobody knows how to make a cheesesteak outside of that area; and also the roll is also an important part of a good cheesesteak. I'm not even sure what I was given. First of all the amount of meat that was on the 2 cheesesteaks combined is less than is on a half of a cheesesteak any other place. It was quite frankly insulting to take our money and serve us that less than quality food. Also, it looked like they stuck it under the broiler to heat it back up again, like it was made ahead of time. The cheese was brown and crunchy. Terrible. Probably the worst cheesesteak I've ever had in my entire life. read more

In the area for an event and I stopped by for a few slices. The restaurant was clean. You can pickup or dine in, I'm not sure about delivery. The restaurant was clean, had a dining area & public bathrooms. The service was quick & friendly. The plain slice and Sicilian slices were delicious. There was a perfect mix of sauce and cheese baked to perfection with an appropriately crispy crust at a reasonable price. read more

I am new to working in the area and needed a quick lunch in walking distance. This place is big with a clean dining area but I was so disappointed with the slice selection, just plain, Buffalo chicken and Sicilian. Upon viewing the menu it's tiny, so I understand the minimal selections. Pizza is ok, not the best not the worst I've ever had. Staff is friendly and fast moving. read more

A REALLY great pizza spot! Stopped in for a quick bite with my husband for lunch. Plenty of street metered parking around (although on the weekend you may need to circle). Small, but just the right amount of tables for a pizzeria. Has that classic pizzeria feel. Staff was very nice and attentive. Area was clean. Let me tell you about THE BUFFALO CHICKEN SLICE. To me, it's the perfect buffalo slice. I'm not a fan of buffalo slices that have huge pieces of chicken, are overly spicy, or have a drizzle of ranch/blue cheese (I know some of you will fight me on that one). This slice has just the right kick hot sauce, no drizzle, AND THE GAME CHANGER: it's shredded/chopped up chicken! Omg, why don't more pizzerias do this?? It's so much easier to eat instead of giant chunks of chicken. I am in love with this slice. I also had a slice (corner, of course) of Sicilian and it was great. Of all of the pizza places in Morristown, this is one of my top favs. read more

I really wanted to like it more, but the eggplant parm definitely was not my thing and had too much cheese too

Great and delicious pizza. I tried a slice of plain cheese and a Sicilian. They both were equally wonderful. Possibly one of the better slices I've had in a while. The store is nice and clean. It's easy to find and they even have a couple of fee parking spots in the back in Morristown on South Street. Imagine that. Service was fast and courteous. I highly recommend Morris Pizzeria. read more

Not everyone should make pizza service was lacking stood there 5 minutes before asked what I wanted

The pizza here was VERY good! Will definitely order pizza to go or get delivery at some point in the future. The meatballs were ok- nothing special. They were also a bit cold. I was not thrilled with other customers not respecting my personal space during the pandemic. The tables were not blocked off. Bottom line pizza is A+, pass on the meatballs and order your food to go. read more

Got a pie here a few weeks ago and didn't enjoy it very much. It was a little dry and crunchy, and overly garlicky. Maybe they were having an off day, I'd give it a second try bc it's other reviews are good. read more

Tough to move in a pandemic, the crew in the new place was showing grace under pressure by wearing masks & cranking out pies for walkins and phone orders on a busy Saturday. They made us a few slices fresh with a short wait, $3 each. Garlic bread but no garlic knots. Next time I get the sausage roll or Stromboli! Free parking around back. read more

Morris Pizzeria is a solid choice for pizza. The plain cheese is my go to! The sauce is tasty, it is not greasy and the crust is thin and delicious. The slices are a good size and it is reasonably priced. Hasn't disappointed yet! Give it a try if you're in the mood for some good pizza. read more

Love Love Love their pizza!!! It's great fresh classic NY style pizza without the frills. Super Fresh Every Time! I highly recommend!!

At $3 per plaim slice I was hoping that it was actually good but this is one of the worst I've had. The crust was undercooked and floppy, the sauce was nearly nonexistent, and the cheese was overdone and bland... inexpensive crap. The place was empty on a saturday...easy to see why. read more

This is my favorite pizza in Morristown. They don't skimp on the cheese like so. Any places do nowadays. The sauce is ample. I personally like a bit more flavor in my pizza sauce so I add garlic powder to it and that wakes it up a bit. The crust is done perfectly and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. They have excellent toppings. They have real pepperoni they use on their pizza and it is delicious! They always have buffalo chicken slices, which is popular now, but this place, by FAR, has the best! It melts in your mouth. They also have good meatball parm sandwiches. read more

A hidden gem. If you like thin crispy pizza with no droop this is the pizza for you. Philly cheesesteak pizza is fantastic.

I went here on my lunch break and had the best Sicilian pizza I ever had in my life. I will drive 30 mins just to get a pie for myself.

I popped in for a cheese steak slice after work one day. The place was empty around 6:30 but that suited me just fine; I had the two televisions all to myself! The slice was under $4 and it was good. Not the best I ever had but definitely got the job done. read more

BEST PIZZA IN MORRISTOWN. I have been coming to this pizzeria since I was in high school & it's one of the few places in town that's consistently excellent. I'm there like 3 or 4 times a week. The owners are very friendly & so nice. They aren't as stuck up as all the other restaurants & businesses moving into town They have a large Flat screen, I've watched The Dark Knight, Avatar, Bruce Almighty, and Inception while eating a slice. Besides their personal pan pizza which is totally worth the wait. I love their marinara sauce I get extra on the side for my pepperoni stromboli & I also dig how they serve beef pepperoni I think it tastes better then the other stuff & the redesign of the interior looks amazing. If you're in the neighborhood check it out!! read more

Unpleasantly surprised. The meatball and plain are decent...which is why I ordered from them last night. But I will never be going back due to 2 other pies I ordered last night. They advertised "chopped garlic" as a topping option on their online ordering form, so I added it. It arrived with JARRED MINCED GARLIC smeared on top. It's also noteworthy that we got a "White Pie with Spinach" which literally appears to me to be frozen chopped spinach that they threw into a blender with ricotta cheese, smeared onto the dough as an under layer? and topped with mozzarella. It looked gross and tasted like creamed spinach combined with a frozen white pizza from the store. Still laughing about the fact that they called me after I placed my ordered, which had requested an addition of basil, because he needed to tell me they "Don't have basil" (in general). I've never heard of a northern NJ pizza spot not using basil in anything on their menu. Thanks for reading:) read more

Good everyday pizza. Newly opened and great at practicing social distance with outdoor seats.

When we moved to town we tried every pizzeria in Morristown and in our opinion Morris Pizzeria is hands down the best pizza in town. . . and I'm from NYC. Recently opened, so only have experience with take out from here. Ordered whole pies a couple of times. Our favorite is getting a large Cheese pie. Perfect pie! The crust was thin, sauce was delicious, cheese and pepperoni were just right. Delivered in half the estimated time. No need to go anyplace else! Thanks all for a super pizza! read more

Pretty standard pizza. Good amount of cheese, crust is crispy enough (although could be more) and is actually better when re-heated the next day in a toaster oven. Not my first choice of pizza in the area but a good second (after Lovey's) considering they're open later and actually answer their phones at 20 minutes to close (unlike Pomodoro). Wish they had online ordering since the old Italian guy taking my order couldn't hear me/underhand me. Maybe they need to get new phones or someone for whom English is a first language considering he just got frustrated at me, hung up too early, and made someone else call me back. Luckily that second individual was a pleasure to speak with and got my order right. read more

Have tried all the pizza places in Morristown and Morris Pizza is tops. I go to a pizza place for pizza. They have a good selection of toppings. We usually request the pie thin crust and they make it that way and the bottom is crisp, a reasonable amount of sauce and good quality and amount of cheese. I usually call in an order and they are honest with timing and the pie is always ready when I get there when they say. If you haven't tried them give it a try. read more

Ordered a pie for delivery from Morris Pizzeria the other day. Kind of unbelievable how we've never had a pizza from here before. I feel like we've tried a hundred other places in town (fiancée actually says the number is closer to 14), and none of them are super solid. For the most part, the pizza elsewhere is just ok. Morris Pizza's pizza, however, is well above the rest. Before we get into the food though, I have to explain the 4 stars (as opposed to 5). When I called, the guy who picked up was short with me and a little rude. He seemed put out by having to take the order. When I asked for a bacon and onion pie, he informed me that they didn't have bacon. I found that odd and disappointing. Both these reasons detract the fifth star. Without a Plan B, I asked for the quintessential Go-To: a large pepperoni pizza. He said it would be delivered in 45 minutes. Most places claim half an hour and then are late. I was actually relieved to hear someone say anything BUT "half an hour." I felt like the 45 minute claim was more dependable than the norm. And it was! Exactly 45 minutes after I hung up the phone, the doorbell rang. Zing zang zoom. The pepperoni pizza was piping hot right out of the box. It was super cheesy and had bountiful amounts of spicy, crisp, and large pepperoni. This was easily the best pepperoni pizza we've had in 14 different restaurants in the area. It's a shame it took us this long to find the winner, but this is it! We're only gonna be here another couple months but if (when) we decide to get another classic cheese pie with regular toppings, it will be from Morris Pizzeria. Hopefully next time the person answering the phone will be a little friendlier. read more

I was accosted by the owner's son to do an updated review. My rating hasn't changed. It's still a 3star and I'm being very generous, I will not be bullied into "giving" a higher score, a basic pizza, gets you a basic score. I gave a great review my first time here, a 4 star, then quality just kept on slipping down. The other reviewers see the same issue there is NO Consistency, only now everytime i've gone, it's been consistently basic, and disappointing. Why is it disappointing? again I'm an old cat, i've had Pizza Slices in NY when they .25c a slice, heck my first pizza slice my older sister bought one for me to eat at a dime a slice, do you know how outraged the whole neighborhood was when slices went to $1!!!, yes that's how old i am and how much I love pizza. I'm also on Keto, so I can only have carbs once a week, and when i do, i choose to cheat on great pizza, This place has FAILED me. read more

Guys, come on. I love the food but please get it together. I made the simplest of orders. You don't want to use slice or a delivery service....I get it. Then you have an incompetent person answering the phone and taking the order....I'm patient and willing to work through it...I specifically ask (during covid) for a door drop off of food...tip nicely. Then after 1.25 minutes the food comes. The doorbell rings and I'm forced to answer which I asked not to...then half my order is missing...then he returns and rings doorbell 2 more times for me to go out and talk to him. Wtf!!! I want to support local but do your part. Unacceptable read more

In terms of good pizza and great sandwiches... This joint is the place to go. It is run by the father and son who are both really sincere. Make sure you try their eggplant parmesan sandwich!
