Positives This is a clean and in a convenient location for me on my way home. With that being said I will only go here as a last resort because 1. Getting out of here is awful. It isn't probably Krogers fault but should have been planned better by whoever was in charge. 2. Believe it or not this Kroger is only about 7 years old but it just appears to be very worn in. Perhaps it is the customers. The parking lot looks bad since carts are left out in the bins and overflowing many times I've been there. 3. The individual who designed the set up at this particular Kroger obviously didn't design any of the other Krogers. Very difficult to find items, even though they are there. 4. Some of the staff is friendly but I think the Managers who work the evening rush should be out of a job. One Manager on duty was too busy flirting with female customers, rather than helping out with the excessive long lines at check out. He even appeared to be too friendly with one of the subordinates as well. I could be exaggerating but it was without a doubt flirting. This has the potential to be a great place if they change a few important issues. read more

This is the worst Kroger I have ever been to. There is always a wait to checkout! Once at 6:45am I had to wait in line because the self check-out machines were down and there were no employees at a register. The last time I went there was a woman with TWO CARTS full of items in the express lane. Multiple people brought this up to the managers in the store and the managers refused to open anymore registers or ask the woman to use another check-out method since she was way over the 15 or 20 item limit. The managers said that they don't like to say anything to people because it makes them mad. It makes me mad that I have to wait behind very long lines to buy 3 items. Aldi is so much better. read more

Its our closest Kroger, but one of the worst we've ever been in, cluttered, feels unclean, but good prices on pharmacy items.

When I lived in Roswell, I'd frequent this store on occasion, being on that side of town. This is one of the few Kroger stores I don't know the nickname for. Aldi Kroger? Since Aldi is across the street. No problems with anything there that I could find. Friendly staff, clean as most any grocery store and fast in and out even when I found myself in a rush to get to a funeral. All the complaints about it's location and difficulties getting in and out of the parking are amusing to me. It's Roswell. One of the most congested traffic cities in the Metro Atlanta area. I had to plan all my driving in Roswell around rush hours. Never had a problem with getting in or out, but I lived their since '71 and know all the back routes and new clogged streets. read more

I like this Krogers because of the layout. Like all Krogers I have visited in metro Atlanta, they have their naturals section together like a mini-grocery store. They also have several natural products I use regularly and their organic vegetables and fruit are very affordable. Publix has the natural/organic products mixed in with the regular items (making it hard for me to find certain products)...plus they don't carry as many brands. I really love Publix but I just wish they would change their store layout the same way. read more

I dont know what happened at this Kroger. The fruit and vegetables are never fresh anymore. The organic section is very limited and the quality is laughable. I cant believe they are selling things thats are obsolete. Then on top of that they changed the isles all around so you cannot find anything. If I want something FRESH now I just go to Harrys Whole Foods. Im very disappointed because this location wasnt always this slipshod. read more

I am continually asking myself why I go back to this old tired Kroger. My wife got lobster there on Saturday and when I opened the bag I knew it was spoiled. Too late to take it back because we had guests coming for dinner. I took it back today and believe it or not there was no line in customer service like there usually is. They took they crab back but not with any type of apology or type of concern on their face. Went and got some groceries and passed a guy up in the 15 or less line because he had just one thing to check out but when I was up next.... the cashier left her station, walked over to me, looked me right in the face and said she was closed and she was sorry, pointed to the other registers, and put the chain up. And just like a million other times at this Kroger, there was only one lane open with 10 customers in line. I looked around for a manager but no one in site. A lady then yells over to customer service and tells 3 cashiers to quit talking and open up registers. One good thing, the very nice cashier that checked me out was so nice and apologetic. One of my friends works at another Kroger in Alpharetta and he even jokes about Crossville rd and says he won't let his wife go there. There is Aldi across the street, there is Sprouts, and there are Publix in both the other directions. You would think with that much competition they would try to make this Kroger better....but they don't. read more

The pharmacy at this location is one of the worst that I have ever dealt with . I use them because my mom lives at Emeritus of Big Creek and I manage her medications. They are consistently making errors, their automatic refill system is abysmal and they are dishonest or so confused they can't get their stories straight. I tried to talk to Marie Orff who said she was the manager but all she could do was tell me I just didn't understand their " processes". She them said she had been on maternity leave and really didn't know what happened when she was gone. Step up Kroger and get someone in there that can tell the same story twice!!!!!! read more

Today, approximately 10 a.m., my wife and I entered the store with the intent to do our weekly grocery shopping. When I walked into the men's restroom a few minutes later, I observed that the floor was wet throughout, and that the room smelled of raw sewage. It was obvious that the toilet had overflowed prior to my visit, that the overflow water had dried to some degree, and that no one was engaged in cleaning up the mess. The stench was quite difficult for me to handle without retching, and I have a strong stomach that is not easily perturbed. The entire floor of the men's room was engulfed in fecal matter, and liquid and solid material had been tracked outside of the room and throughout the store by previous visitors. I immediately reported the situation to store customer service personnel, who didn't seem particularly concerned about it. Upon my continued insistence, the store manager, Mr. Coy Ivey, appeared after some time, and leisurely addressed me. I related to Mr. Ivey that the fecal release from the men's room constituted an imminent health hazard to anyone present in the store, and that it must be immediately cleaned up with sanitizing and disinfecting substances before anyone could safely use the premises. Unless such measures were taken, persons in the store could be exposed to dangerous and sometimes deadly effects of Escherichia coli and other bacterial and viral infections that derive from raw sewage exposure. I informed Mr. Ivey that tracking of the sewage around the store on people's shoes and clothing can easily contaminate foods and household products on display throughout the store, as well as pharmaceuticals being dispensed at the pharmacy directly across the aisle from the contaminated men's room. Persons in the store at the time of my visit who could have easily been exposed already included many customers, several workers who were rearranging store shelving, and several employees of the store. In response to my report, Mr. Coy Ivey did not appear to be particularly concerned about the matter either. He appeared to be detached from the conversation, and not to be well trained or educated about health hazards potentially coming from exposure to raw sewage. He seemed very ill equipped to do an effective cleanup and disinfection process in his store, or to protect customers and workers from exposure. I advised Mr. Ivey that he must take immediate steps to clean and decontaminate not only the men's room but the entire store for the protection of public health & safety. I stated that I would soon advise the Fulton County Health Department, and also that the leadership of Kroger Corporation would surely be interested in the effectiveness of Mr. Ivey's handling of the situation. After my conversation with Mr. Ivey, my wife and I left the store without purchasing anything. We doubt that we will return in the future, as our interest in shopping at this particular store has obviously been tainted. We trust that the Fulton County Health Department will take action, first to inspect the store and assure that has been decontaminated, then to assure that matters such as this will be immediately and effectively addressed in the future. read more

I was living on Wavetree Dr when this store was built, and we were so glad to have it there. I recall a rather deep snow in one of their early years. There was just a big field, No school, no houses between the store and Wavetree, and no paved road. There was an unpaved trail that ran from across the street from us into the field, I wrapped up my two youngest girls and got out the sled. I pulled the sled, my oldest daughter pushed, and we took off to the store. The weeds and tall grass were almost impossible to navigate. Did I mention there was a fairly steep hill between the trail and the store? The sled and the 4 of us rolled down the hill more than once. We finally got our groceries and started home, We met a neighbor with a 4-wheel drive truck who drove us home safely. I will never forget this store and the excellent service we got. They even gave the girls free cookies. read more

The store itself is okay. It is clean and has the gas station located right outside. However, the meat counter has a lot to be desired and has less to offer than other locations. The funny incident that I saw while there was a person working the counter take frozen Scallops from an island cooler, open the prepackaged bag, run water over it and put it into the "fresh" Scallop display where the price is higher than what the bag would cost. I got a good chuckle from thinking about how everyone thinks they are fresh and they are buying a prepackaged frozen product. Of course it also made me question the more expensive meat I was buying too. I wouldn't think this would be common practice at Kroger stores but a one-off incident. However, I think I would still be hesitant to buy fresh sea food at this location. read more

I read the bad reviews and wondered what store they were in. The pharmacy in my opinion is excellent. I have never had a bad experience although it is sometimes frustrating that there are not enough cashiers. read more
