This Publix is always a pleasant place to shop. It's a smaller store, yet they do a great job keeping essential and wellness products in stock. The seafood, deli, and bakery counters are clean, organized, and staffed by friendly people who make you feel welcome. A good inventory of health and wellness products, and a good selection of vegan products. The parking lot caters many businesses so the ingress/egress can be challenging at times. I live across the street and I am a regular customer. I went in when this publix the day before a projected snow storm. It was also the same time that this store introduced the brand new self-check out stations. An employee (and she knows who she is) was supposed to be monitoring the self-check out stations. However she told a police officer on site that I was not paying for my items. When I showed the police the receipt, there was no apology from the police or anyone from publix. I don't usually listen to other customer's complaints about racial profiling. However, I believe that the employee singled me out and Lied to the police (which is a crime), at a time when the city was trying to prepare for a snow storm/warning. read more

This Publix is located in a very busy strip mall. Large free parking lot that is super busy too. On the plus side. Clean. Reasonable selection of items for store size. On the minus side. Store is small. Customer service seems less good than other Publix stores. Deli is super busy from workers at the King/Queen buildings across the street. Must be racial profiling at this store! I got a few items from the store. The bagger did not bag one of my items didn't notice until I got home many hours later. I wasn't about to go to the store for two dollars and 50 Cent item but I ended up going back the next day. My receipt was lost in transition. I never keep up with those things sometimes.. anyway it felt like there were accusing me of stealing the item. I felt like I had to sit there for over 30 minutes explaining to them that they did not pack my item they pulled my card information and then proceeded to tell me I still didn't buy the item looked at the receipt myself of what they printed up. I saw that I did purchase out out of the pointed out to her. She finally gave in and gave me my product that was not loaded to begin with felt like such a hassle for a little thing. read more

Publix always has great service. I find they are in the top tier when it comes to grocery shopping and this location is no different. It's a small footprint store but has a lot to offer, very clean and organized and lots of food selection. I like the under $10 sushi and Wednesday specials here. My favorite Publix store in Dunwoody. 1st, I forgot their mac and cheese was bland. It wasn't nasty or salty just bland put it in the . You can never go wrong with a Publix sub or chicken. Can't think of what to eat ? Go to deli counter. the deli counter closed? Hit the deli premade to go chicken and subs already made. Terrance was cool and he made my sub exactly how I order it. He had me laughing the whole time. I would have taken pictures of the roast beef sub I got made and the one I got from the premade to go case, but I ate them . Roast beef was just fresh and tasty. American cheese was full of pop and the breads where like almost fresh baked tasting. Chicken tenders were like"Oh my Gawrd " ( In my Hasan Campbell voice). This Publix is smaller than just about all other Publix markets I've shopped at. It's in a busy shopping center. Unfortunately, the free parking lot is a little too small for all of the popular businesses that share the same lot, so parking here may be a challenge during peak times. Since this location is smaller than most, it also doesn't have the greatest selection of items. For instance, the picked over produce always remains, and many times they are out of items. Their deli and hot foods department always seems busy, no matter what time of day I go in, and their selections always look fresh. However, there's always a line. Not much else to say about this Publix. I've never had to wait in line longer than 10 minutes to check out, and that's when almost all lines were open. The customer service is ok. read more

The deli section for subs @ this publix is the worst I've ever been to. No matter what hour of the day I go, theres going to be a line and SLOW employees. Super frustrating as there is clearly no regard to people on time constraints (ie lunch breaks). Today I went at 2:30 hoping to beat the lunch rush, but theres still a line of 6 people when I arrive and only 1 person making sandwiches. Everybody else (and there are other employees), didnt help until 15-20 mins later. I left the store at 3:10, with only 20 mins left of my lunch break. Ridiculous! read more

A little smaller than usual publix but as always, still got the essentials, and a lot of cashiers but not always all working. The aisles are narrower than usual so it may get a little crowded during rush hour hahahaha. A SunTrust bank and a western union at site, which is always nice. As well as a little pharmacy. Your friendly neighborhood Publix! It's great. The best of the grocery stores around and ol' reliable. I run to this Publix when I am in need of a quick item on the grocery list that we might have missed from weekend shopping. From their bakery area, they always have a good supply of cakes and ice cream cakes for any birthday or celebration needs. The bread is usually stocked, but I know there have been a few supply chain issues and a few items are typically out of stock. They refill them every few weeks, but no guarantees. Publix management has put signs next to the out of stock items to let us know. The fresh groceries are usually stocked and ready-- my most common items that I run for are bananas, garlic, milk, and eggs. I've never had an issue with getting these. It is convenient to pick up prescriptions as well since there is a pharmacy at this Publix location right at the front. Parking here is not so bad, but during peek hours it gets hard to find a spot. Publix shares the lots with many other stores/restaurants in this plaza. read more

Horrific customer service. When something rings up incorrectly, they should fix it for the customer and let them move on with their life. Instead they call 5 different people 1 after 1 with an agonizing wait when I had a sick child to get home to and a long line behind me. Publix is supposed to be better than that. Clean, well lit grocery store with respectable prices. If you need assistance finding an item, there are plenty of store employees who will graciously take you to the item you're looking for. There is a hot bar near the deli if you'd like to get grab and go food. This is particularly convenient for those who may be travelling and lodging in hotels. It could cut down on eating out and poor fast food options. I'd absolutely frequent again as it was very easy to find the items I wanted. read more

Their excuse is they are a private company and don't have to listen to the cdc. #Publix #COVID19 #morons In one short trip I encountered 16 customers not wearing masks. I asked staff to help. I confronted the people not wearing masks and got no support from the staff. They gave me some circular logic that because they give free masks at customer service, which is not displayed anywhere that somehow it's ok for people to chose not to wear a mask. read more

I put in an online order for two sandwiches. When I got there one sandwich wasn't there. Naecole said that she had called me to tell me there wasn't any tuna so she couldn't make the one sandwich and she said that I didn't pick up. I didn't have any problems with my phone all day but then when she called apparently my phone stopped working? Doubt it. I asked why she didn't leave a message and she started making excuses that it got busy and she was training so she wasn't able to leave a message or try calling again. I don't like being lied to. Then the one sandwich they did make before I got there was wrong. I noticed when I got in the car that it was the wrong bread, they put it on white when I ordered wheat. Normally I wouldn't have cared but I was still upset that Neacole didn't do her job and then lied to me to cover her butt. So I went back inside to have them remake it, and when they did the avocado and tofu were both frozen, and I specifically asked for sub sauce and oil and vinegar on the side and they didn't put any of that on the sandwich or in the bag. I'm hungry and cranky and my sandwich has no sauce and is half frozen. I'm pissed. But Dell was great and he was super apologetic and was very quick and attentive. Thank you Dell! read more

The parking lot is a bit much, especially going over before/after work or during lunch time, but their deli and sub station is great and they have a lunch deal everyday. The bank inside always has a friend associate outside and the Publix staff is always friendly. Customer service is normally quick and easy as well. read more

For this Publix location, it is okay. I say okay with a sigh. This is smaller than many of the ones that I have been in, leading me to believe that this may be an express-type of grocery store with its selections. Some members of the staff act as if they don't want to even be bothered with you, which I found surprising. Publix usually has a reputation for going the extra mile for its customers, yet the impression that I found with this location bordered on under-achieving. I found what I wanted yet left with a sense of buyer's remorse in thinking that I may have settled on just getting what I wanted instead of getting other items that I needed. I have to be honest in this review because I was absolutely disappointed in the cleanliness of the deli department I was going to get a sub and if you look where they make the sandwiches it is absolutely filthy there is crap all over the place. Two of the people who are making sandwiches have their nose is sticking out of their masks. This Publix is one of the smallest I have ever visited however it basically has everything you need. I go here for lunch sandwiches and picking up odds and ends. Excellent friendly staff. I always enjoy going to my local neighborhood Publix. They're always friendly and willing to help. The store is always clean and brightly lit and so is the parking lot. I know I'm not the only woman who has this problem...going into the store for one item and coming out with more than a few! It doesn't matter, they're always there to accommodate me with my purchases by assisting me with bagging and loading my car. I thought I should note that the seafood department makes a mean lobster linguini that only requires 15 minutes in the oven at 375 degrees (instructions on the oven safe bag). To top it off they draw a cute bunny smiley face on it. I feel the warm and fuzzies! Nice touch Publix! read more

Publix. They are like the Wegmans of the South. For those that may not know of Wegmans I think it would be better to think of Publix as the Chick Fil A of grocery stores. Never have I had a bad experience with products nor the service at any Publix and I have been to many (Florida, Georgia, South Carolina). This particular one in Atlanta was no different in the excellent service and choice of products to choose from. The excellent service and cleanliness of the store is a constant and it does not matter which one you go to. It is good when you are looking around that the employees are pretending not to see you as you walk around in search of items. The staff is more than helpful to assist you and if they do not have the item they are willing to do a special order for you. This store is growing quickly and if coming to your area you are in for a treat. read more

I was in Publix today my favorite grocery store so I thought. I was in the store and I was looking for a pepperoni I said to the gentleman working in the dairy department where was the pepperoni located we proceeded to go down 2 isles then he turned around and said I don't know this is not my department I then ask him do you have a Publix employee app where you can look it up he looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and respond sorry I proceeded to go check out and when the cashier asked me did you find everything OK I asked her what was the pepperoni located and she said I don't know, I ask her do you have the Publix employee app where you can look up where stuff is located and if you have any pepperoni she said I've asked people to show me how to utilize the app but she then ask customer service and then stated IDK, I said OK and was beyond frustrated. I proceeded to pay for my grocery and another cashier came up to assist with bagging my grocery and ask her where was the pepperoni she was able to tell me where it was located unfortunately by this time my groceries were bagged and I had already paid the cashier. I went back around the store at this point to look for the pepperoni where she said it was located I found it but when I got back to the cashier to get in line the line was down the isle at this point I was wasting my time and I had to get back to work I've never had this type of customer service where I felt like I was in Wal****, this type of customer service at Publix which is totally unacceptable and they're not living up to the expectations which they have set. I've been a customer with Publix for the last 50 years starting with my grandmother, but the service that I received at this Publix today was totally unacceptable and my granddaughter still does not have her pepperoni for her homemade pizza. read more

Recently I've been stopping by this publix in the early mornings to buy coffee and breakfast. The ladies working up front have been fantastic, and until today I never had any issues. Let me set the scene here: As I was walking up to the cash register the clerk there stepped to the side so that she had a better view of any incoming customers. She moved up to the front so that it was easier to usher in whoever wanted to checkout. She didn't see me walk up to the registers because I was behind her. Her manager (who was watching them from the pharmaceutical area) then stormed over to her and began to yell at her. At this point another woman came up next to me and watched as he verbally berated and abused this poor clerk. He accused her of not doing her work and even began to yell at the other clerk and bagging attendant. The clerk tried to explain herself and tell him that she was working but that she didn't see us come up behind her but he didn't let her speak and he continued to yell at her. This was extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. I felt really bad for this woman. She was just trying to do her job, and a manager on a power trip decided it was his time to shine. The other woman who was behind me ended up going first in line and comforted the clerk. She told her not to worry about men like that, and that she was doing a great job. I agreed with her and said there's jerks everywhere and unfortunately they sometimes end up in positions of power that they are unqualified to hold. I would have given him a piece of my mind too, but if this is how he treats his employees in the open I can't imagine what he does behind the scenes. I'm not sure what that manager was thinking, but speaking to anyone like that is wrong - especially when you have a position of power and hold their livelihood in your hands. I hope that manager is ashamed of himself, and I hope Publix does their employees justice by giving him some more training (because he clearly lacks any home training)! read more

This Publix rarely has everything listed on my grocery list. Mainly because this location is smaller than the average store size. So if you need something that is not used by the average person, you will have to make a second stop. I always have to wait for the fried chicken wings to be cooked since they don't keep the hot bar stocked. However, the associates are very friendly. They always offer to prepare them for me while I am shopping or if I am in another section they ask if I need help finding things. read more

Everyone is so nice in this publix whenever I come in. It's very clean inside and there are usually two people making sandwiches as opposed to one worker in other locations. I honestly come here for subs and I'm more than ok with that :) I love the ultimate with all boars head meat on white bread with a boat load of other ingredients. Super worth the trip. read more

This Publix is bush-league. I was excited to try it out because I live in a part of town that has very small grocery stores. My closest Pulix is tiny, and the only thing I miss about living in the burbs was the abundance of gigantic grocery stores. I decided to try this Publix on my lunch break, and much to my chagrin there were only about 5 aisles. It is actually smaller than my miniature Publix on Cheshire Br. It's broken up really strangely. For instance, the dairy products are not on the outside of the store. They are on a half refrigerated side of one of the aisles. The people were not terribly friendly. The parking lot sucks. I don't really have anything great to say about this place. read more

You can tell this store is located around mostly office buildings because it is really crowded at lunchtime. Aside from the full parking lot and crowd around the sub station, this is a pretty good shopping experience. I had to pick-up some food for our daily resident breakfast and since this is across from our corporate office, I decided to stop in. The aisles were clean and they have a good selection, even though this is a pretty small store. The produce was a little gross looking. I picked up a bag of apples and it wasn't until the cashier was scanning it that we realized some of them were rotten. Most of the stars in this rating go to the cashier who was considerate enough to point out the bad apples... I would have been a little upset if I had gotten back to the office and either had to return the fruit or throw it away.
