I have been here many times. Nothing has ever stood out as good or bad. Today, I was in line and the cashier was very friendly with the customer in front of me. I assumed that she was a friendly person. When it was my turn to check out her face turned sour and she said nothing while she checked me out. I swiped my card and she mumbled something and gave me my groceries. WTH? I chalked it up to her having a bad day but her day was going great with the customer in front of me. I will come back but will never get in her line again as it was terrible. read more

This is my local Publix and where I buy most of my groceries. Sandy is my favorite cashier. She is friendly and always greets customers with a smile. In the past, they would run out of certain items during the holidays, such as Old English Cheese by Kraft and chopped pecans. This year, they had both items in stock all the way up until Christmas Eve. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to drive down the street to Kroger to purchase these items this year. The entire store is kept very clean and well-organized. When you ask a team member where to find an item, they will typically walk you directly to the item rather than simply pointing out where it is located within the store. read more

This is one of the best Publix around. It's not the one I go to as often but I like it a lot. First I like the lay out. As soon as you walk in the Deli department is to your right. The produce is also in that section as well as the bakery department. They keep the place well stocked and clean. I never have problems finding anything here. They don't run out the fancy feast cat food flavor that my cats seem to like (salmon and shrimp) the way Kroger does all the time. There always seems to be plenty of cashiers no matter what time of the day I come in which isn't always the case with other Publix. Kudos to them for that. This Publix has a Regions bank beside it and is on Holcomb Bridge Road or W Crossville Road and King Road. It's next door to Schakolad Chocolate Factory, Massage Envy, Cojo (Mexican restaurant) and Majestic Tan. It is right across the street from the Home Depot and Burger King. You can say that I leave a happy camper every time I come and you can also say that next time I'm in the area and need stuff. I'll be back in again. read more

Love Publix! Hands down, this is my favorite grocery in the country. I think I may be biased being from FL originally. The store just smells like a slice of heaven when you walk in. I expect magical elves to jump out of the aisles and shower you with magic candy sticks. Everything about Publix is great from the bakery to the deli, produce and even their store brand stuff is top notch! I love this location. The employees are always helpful and even suggest when the produce is nearing its end, often recommending coming back when a fresh shipment is received. The other great aspect about this location is that it never seems to be crowded! read more

This is a great Publix with self-checkout and a pharmacy. There is a Publix closer to my house but hubs and I love this one so much. I recently got a TDAP vaccine administered at the pharmacy of this location and the process from booking to administering the shot was seamless. My OB called in the prescription and the next day I got a call from Publix that my insurance had been run and I could make an appointment online. I was able to get an appointment the very next day. When I showed up to the pharmacy I was directed to a chair to wait. The pharmacist then explained she was mixing the vaccine and would be right with me. She then brought me the vaccine paperwork and my receipt. She administered the shot and even explained how I could prevent arm soreness. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Hubs recently got his TDAP at Walgreens and they did not give him any paperwork or tell him how to prevent the arm soreness. He also had an appointment and still had to wait 45 minutes. This was such an amazing experience in comparison. I have always loved Publix and this location is no exception with the self-checkout and killer pharmacy! read more

After the serendipitous discovery that this Publix sells dry ice, I figured that that was worthy of a review update. I recently spent some time in New Bern, North Carolina trying to provision a boat for a lengthy sailing trip. Dry ice in that area was nowhere to be found. You can get that here at Publix, though. See picture for tips on how to make your own carbonated beverages. You can find these blocks of CO2 in the front of the store next to the bathrooms. read more

I am extremely fond of Publix as a chain and this store is run well and the employees are the embodiment of customer service and friendliness ideal. The selection of products are varied and they have several mini-ethnic sections as well as their "Green-wise" selections. I forget how nice the Publix shopping experience until I veer off to another chain and see what passes for customer service there. read more

This is a flagship for Publix in terms of how a grocery store should operate. Parking lot and facility are immaculately clean with staff super attentive and very well trained. This place operates with a smile and becomes extremely noticeable when visiting places not as well oiled. Publix delis are hand and fist better than Kroger and give actual sandwich shops a run for their money. I find the bakeries a bit small and overpriced, but their selection of fresh produce, organics, and meats is amazing. This store has the most selection and access to international name brands than I've ever seen. They have entire shelving units devoted to hot sauces and other garnishes. Simply astounding what products are available from a local grocer. You'll get spoiled shopping here, even if the prices are a tick above Kroger's on most things. I see it as a Wal-Mart / Target tradeoff. read more

Don't eat lunch here!!! You will wait 10 minutes to be rung up, after you give up on that and go to the 10 items or less cashier you will wait behind a guy who has many more items AND wants to bond with the cashier describing every view he has ever had. When you finally get to eat your soup it is TASTELESS. I'm not kidding - close your eyes and you could never guess what flavor it's supposed to be. NEVER AGAIN!!! read more

This is my go-to store for whole chicken wings. Not sharing my recipe....which I ripped off from Ray Lampe, aka Dr. Barbecue.

There isn't anything the management will not try to get for me. I take my own platters in and they arrange everything on them for me. Sometimes it's breakfast pastries in one of my baskets, sometimes cold cuts for a luncheon tray, sometimes fruit and cheese. They do a great job at the catering also. Sure, it's not as swanky as the Publix next to the Ritz by Vanderbilt Beach but for Roswell it's the best supermarket we have. The butchers order my meats and have never once messed up an order vs Kroger that never gets it right. I call them and they have it ready. The bakery wasn't the best at cake decorating but have really improved over the years. Wish they had a larger selection in the bakery and produce department. read more

best service ever. Being a los angeles native i was very impressed on how clean this store was. I found tons of organic and fresh produce as well as healthy items to cook a nice dinner. During check out the cashier helped us out to the car. When we tried to tip him he denied it stating that was his pleasure and walked away. read more

Always clean with plenty of friendly staff. Nearby to a lot of other stores if you're running errands. Prices are a little higher, but the food product quality is a little higher too. I've noticed the meat prices tend to be a little cheaper, and there is an in store butcher/bakery. read more

This is our neighborhood store which we shop at weekly. We love the convenience of order ahead deli however they can never seem to get the order right. They don't take the time to read the order and end up having to wait in line to exchange honey ham for honey turkey. Or, they never make the order and we're back waiting in line. So disappointing. read more
