I went to purchase for a gift for a friend and it was easy to order, friendly employees and it was so clean! ... and smelled amazing + tasted delicious!

For being such a small drive thru / space wise, this location is always so quick. They never run out of the specialty/seasonal donuts when they are in and that's surprising for it being off of Hall Rd. The donuts are always super fresh and we love the service because it is time efficient. Our favorite are the milkshakes that they serve, the even come with a mini donut on top... !

Ordered dots they were hard and cold Nothing is fresh at all the employees are so rude and coffee is nasty. I have given this place several try's before posting a review and every time is worse than the last. I would take the drive to Troy donuts are fresh and the service is great

The drive thru had no line and I ordered and received our donuts within 5 minutes maybe less! Super quick, nice employees, and yummy donuts! Super airy, and doughy!

I've been here a number of times over the past few years since this location opened. My time here is usually good with a few exceptions. I love the outdoor seating area- such a cute design, perfect for pictures or just hanging out. Their donuts are usually well made- I've only had problems once or twice when the donuts were made smaller than usual or had clearly been sitting for too long. Other than those experiences, the service is fast, the area is clean, the donuts are good!

What an experience! This Krispy Kreme has a drive-thru and it looks like a scene out of Toys Story, you know when the toys get out at the gas station and there's the huge pizza neon sign? The hours are great as well, they are open till 10pm. Grabbed 2 dozen of donuts yesterday and they melted in my mouth.

It's sad and I love this place, but there was a hair in my box of donuts, probably won't shop here again because ewww!

Grand Opening day- 1/29/19 Full parking lot, busy drive thru and a bustling scene inside.

I had the opportunity to finally sit down inside and get the full Krispy Kreme experience. The donuts were being made fresh and we were able to sample one just minutes after being made. It was so good.... warm, soft, fresh and just the right amount of sweetness. It was a heavenly treat for the tastebuds. But back to the rest of the visit.... We were greeted promptly, had our questions answered and our orders were taken. I opted for a chocolate cake donut with an iced coffee. There was one little blip with my order. I received my coffee but not the donut. There was a bit too much chatting going on between a few of the associates. The oversight was quickly corrected with a sincere apology. We were able to sit, talk and take in the atmosphere as we watched several customers come and go with box after box of fresh donuts. The small Krispy Kreme 'boutique area' has T-Shirts, coffee mugs, tumblers, hats and their own brand of K-Cup coffee for sale. We looked for the prices on the coffee but couldn't find any. Everything else was priced except for the coffee. If you order through mobile, there's a separate Mobile Pick Up area where you go to pick up your order. It's off to the side and more in the rear of the dining area. The layout of the restaurant is unique and the behind the scenes donut making can be seen from the dining area with hundreds of warm, delicious donuts being cranked out. There's a counter with seating and it's facing the donut making area so you can enjoy your delicious donut while watching fresh ones being made. From the decorated walls in the modern looking seating area to the decorated windows, the merchandise for sale, the upbeat music being played and the free Krispy Kreme paper hats on the tables for the kiddos, it's a fun place to experience for all ages.

Fresh donuts being glazed.

Don't bother ordering online for pickup. You'll have to wait in the normal drive thru line.

SIZE: average PRICE: $10.00 (VERY expensive!!) OVERALL THOUGHTS: Paid $10+ for our family of four to share 3 donuts. Female staff member was friendly and patient. Don't understand the hype of this donut chain, have had way better "regular" donuts that were way cheaper. WOULD I RETURN? No, they were not worth the price tag for what you got. We can get a dozen donuts at our local bakery that are much better for $18!!

This is not an orchard - there is no apple picking, hay rides or pumpkin patches. You primarily come to walk or bike the trails along the Clinton River and enjoy their famous cider and donuts. Over the years they've added other offerings like an ice cream stand, fudge kitchen, etc. so there's plenty to choose from. Lots of picnic tables outside but during peak times, it's hard to find a spot. In some of my past visits, there were a lot of bees but this time (Sept 2026), I didn't notice any. This cider mill has gotten so popular over the years that it's way too insane to go on weekends. If you can go earlier on a weekday, it's much more enjoyable. They're the oldest cider mill in Michigan, have a rich 160-year history, and still use the water turbine to generate power! But more than that, their donuts and cider are top notch. The donuts are light, fluffy, and not too sweet - just perfection. Their cider pairs nicely but I will say it's a little expensive (overpriced imho). Parking is free and there's an overflow lot across the street. When I lived in Georgia, they didn't have the same style of cider mills as we do here in Michigan, so we are very lucky! Visiting Yates at least once each fall is a must in my book.
