It was the best service, it was quick and the coffee was amazing. I would come back again

What could improve? Hmmmm... well to start. Up until now and no matter what Tim Hortons I have gone to, a Senior Citizen discount when asked gets applied. NOT HERE! Second, my phone was out on the counter to be scanned but the order taker after taking money didn't take the time to scan or ask if I had rewards. Third, while her attitude wasn't unpleasant it was smug and oh well I am going on break. Lastly, no receipt. Yeah, I won't be back to this store. EVER! read more

I should have consulted Yelp first. This place sucks. Whatever was working the counter couldn't have been less interested, everything was a chore. Maybe it was having an off day, never know what people are going through but I won't be going through here ever again. read more

Tim Hortons - Look at this tired dump, thankfully the War-Del is near (regulars). - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Shelby Township, Michigan

Only my 6th or 7th run at this Tim's but I must say it's looking good. Each food order has been warm and accurate. The staff are polite and professional and that's all I ask. My coffee is always made to Tim's standard. They are dumping the old coffee when they are supposed to and brewing the new stuff to the proper temperature. That's how you get the unique taste. The other night we were pleasantly surprised. It was 20 minutes to closing and they still had chili, Angel creme donuts and fresh coffee. In fact, all of it tasted fresh. BACKGROUND: If you're new to the world of Tim Horton's, Tim's is currently Canada's largest "quick service restaurant chain". The bake shops are Canadian in origin but can be found in about a dozen states in the Eastern/Midwestern U.S. They are also represented in a few foreign countries such as Ireland, The Philippines, Qatar and even China. Yes, they are best known for coffee and donuts but offer quite a bit more. A small selection of breakfast/lunch sandwiches, soups, paninis and wraps. Baked goods include donuts, cookies, muffins and Timbits, their signature bite sized donut holes. STEVEN E. weighs in: It's a matter of apples and oranges with me. Visit a Tim's and you'll understand it's a totally different animal than a krispy creme or a duncan donuts. I review TH locations by comparing them to other TH locations and TH standards. 05/21 read more

Just had the worst experience at this location. The worker in the drive thru literally rushed us through our order impatiently saying "and??" While we decided what our 2 year old wanted. Then at the window when we tried to add on a donut we were told "no we only have 30 seconds to cash you out". I said "are you seriously going to deny my 2 year old a donut?" Like you don't have to make anything just grab it out of the basket. When she rolled her eyes and audibly groaned to her coworker "they want to add a donut" the coworker also audibly groaned and said "are you serious?" Before dramatically grabbing the donut and throwing it in a bag. What happened to customer service? Will not be returning. read more

There is ONE person there (who is the best ever) who makes my breakfast sandwiches toasted like I like. I like them burnt. I always ask now and they even say double toasted but the bread is pretty much u toasted. It's very frustrating. They're gross when they're raw like that. The cheese isn't even melted. read more

Ordered a couple French Vanilla's at the drive through, got home and took the lids off to let them cool down some, one of them was half full and the other 3/4 full. This has happened on multiple occasions. Go to the one on Hall Rd now. read more

This location is in Shelby Township on Van Dyke, M-53 at 21 Mile Rd., a busy corner with a heavy flow of traffic. I made a fast drive over here while on my way for a 9:00 a.m. Auto appointment. I arrived at 8:20 a.m. and drove out from the drive thru line at 8:30 a.m. I ordered 2 boxes of assorted Timbits, (10 per box) and a iced caramel macchiato for $6. I was also able to use a coupon for the Timbits $1.29 which expires today, on May 31st. Ahead of me was 4 vehicles, but the line did move fast. Thanks to Mike and Tom from placing my order at the drive-thru, and the window to pay and pick up. Great teamwork guys!! I am very pleased that I have stopped at another * Tim Horton* location that has satisfied my purchase! Especially during a mid-morning hour rush of traffic flow. Remember the slogan for Tim Hortons: You've Aways Got Time for Tim Hortons. Always FRESH, ALWAYS TIMS :) read more

I have always found this Tim Hortons and the other one on Van Dyke, that's owned by the same person to be one of the best run operations in town. The place is very clean, the pastries are very good and the service is excellent. Everyone there is kind and courteous. The people that congregate there are all enjoying this Tim Hortons every day and I can't understand why anyone would be critical to rate them as average. Last, but not least the owner contributes to the city of Utica by utilizing local employees and others who are learning to become efficient and effective workers , he participates in the local community far beyond most owners. I go there every day and I highly recommend it. read more

DO NOT go here! SCAM ALERT : the owner is a scammer. All of Tim Hortons in Michigan charges 3.49 for a grilled cheese but this this location charges over $7.00. Be aware. read more

Don't go here. Coffee tastes like poop. I have lived by this one for my whole life and it literally has the worst coffee. Can't even explain the taste. It's every single time I go. read more

service is absolutely horrible. whoever takes the orders is extremely rude and they charge way more than any other tim hortons i've been to. i'd rather drive the extra 2 miles and go to the one on hall road. read more

Do not come here. If I could leave them a 0star I would and I don't say that about a lot of places. I gave $15 for a $13 meal and got no money back. When I told them that the window was closed on my face and the kid working walked away. Then 3 employees came to the window cause I knocked saying I got no money back. They then give me $1 no change.... I'm confused by their match and drive away. I call to tell the manager that encounter and she was the one who gave me the $1..??? I'm just confused on where the change goes. I said so do you just take money from people not giving them their change that's stealing, so you just steal from customers. Her reply was "not everyone" LOL. Terrible service and even communication from staff and supposably manager? read more

Worst Tim Hortons I've ever been to. The girl behind the counter seemed angry that I was even there, then of course messed up my order and this isn't the first or even second time it's happened. They absolutely don't care about their customers but it doesn't matter because they are located in such a busy area that there will always be people stopping in as a matter of convenience. I have finally learned my lesson after about five consecutive times of being mistreated and messed up orders. Never again. read more

This is by far the worst Tim Hortons that we've been to. There's a sign on the window, advertising 2 breakfast sandwiches for $6.00 It says limited offer, and time. Well, didn't make the offer. I looked at the prices, and mentioned the prices. The girl gave me an awful look, and walked away. She went to another girl, they talked, and laughed. We stood at the checkout for the longest time, finally a gentleman took our order. He was very pleasant. We got our donuts, and sandwiches and left. The sandwiches were the worst. We'll never go back! If I could rate 0 star, I would. There's another Tim Hortons on 23 Mile, we'll try that one. Even if it's out of our way. read more

I ordered breakfast there before 10am. I went simple with a sausage breakfast sandwich and hash brown with a coffee. The hash brown was a soggy, sad cold mess. I had my order less than 2 minutes when I pulled it out of the bag, it should have at least been warm but it was actually cold like it wasn't even under a warmer after being fried some time ago. Sandwich is warm, the croissant is toasted but also a bit hard chewy like it had been over-microwaved once the sandwich was assembled. Definitely not made fresh. Coffee was exactly what I asked for, basic coffee with cream and sugar, nothing to write home about. Overall, I won't be returning. I'd rather go to another coffee place. read more

I wasn't real impressed but we were in the mood for bagels and the immediate area doesn't have a good bagel place around so we settled for Tim Horton's. I was in the mood for an Asiago Cheese bagel, but after looking at the menu board, there was nothing indicating that was an option nor did we see the display of bagels so we could look at them, so I settled again.... for a plain bagel. I also wanted a cold creation, but the price for the one I wanted was nearly $3. No thank you, I'll pass. So I settled again..... for a coffee. While we were eating, we overheard a customer ask if they had cheese bagels and the answer was a yes. What??? Yep, they offer Asiago Cheese bagels! Ok... not a happy camper now. So, we ate our sub par bagels and high tailed it out of there. Anyways, the place was clean and the service was quick, but my mild disappointment only made for a so-so visit. read more

It was Mother's Day, I had just gotten off work, and needing caffeine STAT!! First off, I have to say this location is a nightmare! The lot parking lot itself is so small that it makes for an accident waiting to happen. When patrons are dining inside and patrons are waiting in the drive-thru, it's a jumbled mess of bumper cars in the waiting! I've visited this location for the last time, as I waited over 4 minutes in the drive-thru this last Sunday. While waiting that 4 minutes I didn't move a hair- yet I was almost hit twice, had some rude jerk honk at me once and I had to honk my horn once at some impatient human who was in a hurry to exit the matchbox size parking lot at 60MPH. The traffic builds up off both Van Dyke, and 21 Mile Road, and is just a literal accident waiting to happen at busy hours- and even just at a 2pm in a random Tuesday! When I found a safe way to exit the drive-thru line that last visit (you see I hadn't move 1 hair- I wasn't"committed" to the line where I couldn't escape), I carefully exited back onto 21 Mile. As I turned right onto Van Dyke I had to patiently wait as a car was sticking rear out, trying to pull in this same Tim Hortons. This place a cluster fudge, you know what I mean! Save yourself the insurance claim- drive to any other location! read more

the coffee is always good , the people are all friendly. I love this Tim Hortons , my go to every morning..

It used to be my favorite Tim Horton's in our area . But now I rather drive couple more miles and have fresh baked goods. Old or very old muffins, stale doughnuts... not sure why, but this place is horrible lately. read more

Pretty disappointed honestly. I went in got a medium coffee triple triple with a shot of vanilla, and a BLT sandwich. First thing I do when I get my drink is obviously take a sip. Noticed it definitely wasn't a triple triple, and no shot of vanilla. Then I get home to eat my sandwich and I notice there's literally like NOTHING on it. Maybe 2 pieces of bacon and very little lettuce and the lettuce was all brown and slimy, with little to no mayo. This place is honestly a joke, if you pick that job, make sure you do it right. It's not hard. If I could rate this tims 0 stars I would. Don't recommend. read more

I try to avoid this Tim Horton's, but it is en route and sometimes I need my coffee. The employees here are rude and have been on multiple occasions. I have even called to complain, but apparently the manager is a part of the mean girls club and defended the employee. Really?? The last time I was there I actually pulled out of line due to the way the woman spoke to me. In all fairness, it has been quite a while since I've gone. Hopefully they've hired some new people. read more

It was fine for a meeting, but I'm not much impressed by Timmy's. The coffee I ordered was fine, and the service was a bit slow. My friend ordered a cheese sandwich and an iced tea. She said the sandwich was good, but the tea tasted old. I'm sure we will be back, it's convenient as a meeting spot before practice. read more

The staff is unpleasant. There are two different women who are rude, right when you pull up to the drive thru window. I've heard "what do you want".. And "ugh you can't order it like dat" to cars in front of me. I've never once seen a smile. One lady in particular is extremely rude, she has none other than perfect Ebonics in her vocabulary, which fits well with her drab facial expression and bad attitude. The manager is sweet and took care of a coffee made wrong one time. But she also is not doing her job correctly for letting this awful behavior continue. I'm never one to complain about businesses. But these ladies are ridiculous, and should be fired in my most honest opinion. Not sure why Shelby twp is hiring such trashy people anyways. Unfortunate. read more

Folks are friendly but completely incompetent at their jobs. I LOVE Tims, but this locations needs to be cleaned up. 2 stars for the hot coffee, but the chairs were stacked and nothing was out at 6:15pm. Looked like they wanted to close. Their wi-i was down too. :( read more

I do not agree with the majority of these reviews. Coffee and prices are compatible with other places and cheaper than Starbucks. Sandwich selection is varied and tasty. To the person who talked about chairs being stacked: Could they have been mopping the floors and moved the chairs until it was dry? To the cheese bagel lady: Did you ASK? To the reviewer who slammed the staff for being overweight, SHAME ON YOU! That is a personal attack and I hope the staff was not bothered by the words of this ignoramus. They are just words. Working in the service industry is not easy. Please keep reviews constructive. Rant over. That said, i have seen a great improvement at this location. I witnessed no attitude from staff and service was efficient and friendly. I would give more stars for a more fully-stocked bakery case. read more

The owner of Tim Horton on 21 mile and Van Dyke is extremely rude. I asked for a breakfast sandwich to have no cheese placed on it and he refused to do it unless I purchased the sandwich individually and not part of the special 2 for 4.00 He claimed the sandwich must be made with everything on it. I will never go back to this particular Tim Horton and I hope others will find a different place also. read more

Honestly if I could give this less than 1 star I would.. this is hands down the worst tim Horton's or even coffee shop I have ever been to! Most of the employees are rude, they almost always "out of" something.. After 10am on 3-4-17 I'll never come to this store again. Either they need to get the drive thru speaker fixed or take that RUDE guy off drive thru duty! I had to repeat myself 5 times that I didn't want coffee. He kept getting ruder and asking what I want in my coffee. I said I don't want coffee!
