Always always love these donuts & the drinks are great, too. I love the rotating selection of specialty flavors.

We as customers are being told by employees that the doughnuts are not being cooked at this location. But the employee looked unclean. Icing was all in his hair. The gloves he had on was extremely dirty. He touched everything he could window cash register counter and then doughnuts. All while telling us the doughnuts are not made in-house. He also told us to go to other locations near by if we wanted cinnamon roll doughnut. They Need to order supplies. They cant wait on you because they lack the tools. No doughnuts that are advertised are available to be sold and bought. No cinnamon roll no girl scout doughnuts this is the 3rd day in a row. And the attitude of we dont have them is amazingly meh. The store looks unclean and professionals are needed at this location. Ive had many bad experiences at this location. I felt very unsafe in this location. This place is a pale shadow of its former self. Don't go by the timings on the website, they open and close when they feel like it. They also take online orders and when you show up to pick up your order, they look clueless and then make you feel like they're doing you a favor for giving you what you paid for! The best time to go is when the red light is lit with "hot and fresh donuts." They practically melt in your mouth. Service at this location is fairly good and I've never had to wait long in line. Check your receipt because they usually have a good coupon on it. read more

Back in the day (pre-COVID), you got a dozen glazed for your birthday. Then they switched it to 3 glazed. Now, it's 3 glazed WITH purchase. And THEN, why is the hot light on if the glazed are not hot and fresh? Insult to injury. I had to go into the store today as the drive through was closed, which is fine. I'd rather see the donuts. HOWEVER, this Krispy Kreme seems to be doing wholesale or providing for other locations as they have a ton of bakers racks in the store. That's fine, but you walk by unattended racks of donuts, and that just seems unsanitary. I'm a sucker for their Kreme Filled donuts, just something about them, so sometimes I do find myself here. In the past when I've gone the light has been on but the donuts were not hot and fresh. They tasted like they were from the day before. I went this past Sunday on Fathers Day, pulled into the drive thru and waited... and waited... and waited. Great customer service. You never have to wait more than a minute to get your order place. They have tons of donuts made fresh. I love when you can get them warm. There's so many different cups and T-shirts, even coffee and chocolate milk. A great place to get donuts and I love that they always have hats on the tables for the kids ! Highly recommend! I haven't been to Krispy Kreme for a long time. I stopped by to pick up a couple of donuts while in the area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This location is spacious and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They didn't have the cinnamon roll so I got the original glazed, chocolate iced with custard filling and glazed lemon filled. The list of grievances is long for this Krispy Kreme location. They are always out of basically everything you want. Glazed donuts have been overcooked and dry, and the cinnamon rolls (if they have them) never look like the photos and are weird, deformed, monstrosities. The service is typically bad as the lobby is closed or the drive thru is slow whether there's cars in line or not. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Anymore it looks destitute and like it's closed during regularly operating hours.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't tell how many times I've ordered donuts the night before for the next morning, and I get there and they've sold my donuts to other people as they tell me they ran out of things. How do you run out if I placed my order the night before and already pre-paid for it? Also, every time they have a deal, they're out of stock of the items. Like right now, it's buy a dozen donuts and get the Masters of the Universe donuts for $5. Or you can buy a dozen and get a dozen free glazed, but half the regular donuts are "out of stock." The selection is always limited no matter if you get there as soon as they open which varies, or if you pre-order. I haven't seen the hot donuts sign on for at least a year. I live a few miles away, and I'm down that way a lot. The new management isn't any better than the last. They do seem to just focus on filling Quik Trips with their donuts at 3 a.m. and their own clientele of individuals be damned. It is the most frustrating thing because Krispy Kreme donuts are the best when people actually make them right or at all and care about their customers. This place is trash, and it's proven that over and over again, and I stupidly go back hoping it'll be different but it's always worse. I think they've given up on retail sales. They haven't been opening until 9:30 on Sundays. They have employees there, but they're loading up product on their truck to take to wholesale customers (I presume, I can't imagine what else they'd be doing with it). Don't let the cars in the lot confuse you, those must be employees. They'll yell at you if you try and go inside. They can't be bothered to block off the drive thru lane with a traffic cone or anything, so don't be fooled by the line of cars waiting. If you watch closely you'll note they're driving off after trying to order and being told they're not open. I've seen up to five Krispy Kreme trucks parked in the lot at once. Very frustrated with this Krispy Kreme bc the last 4 or 5 times I've gone there, about once every 3 weeks, the store is either closed, isn't accepting coupons, or only the drive thru is open..which was my experience today. The problem with that is that you CAN'T see the donuts. The employee, ERIN who was working the drive thru was AMAZING! She told me each kind of donut they had, and checked on a coupon I had, whe I asked how many there were of a certain kind, she went out of her way to find out HOW MANY there were..(which I bought all of them plus 19 more donuts) She truly made my experience amazing because she explained to me what the problem was with that store, why it was always having issues, and she apologized!!! Well my main complaint is their web stuff tells you their hours are 6am-9pm. Well they don't tell you the inside isn't open until whenever they feel like it. I've been there at 7a, at 8a and even as late as 8.30 and the inside is closed and you have to wait in the 6-8 car line outside, that's moving a a snails pace. Then this morning, 8am, Saturday, I get to the window as I'm watching people pull away without anything and find out they're out of every kind of doughnut, except some creme filled puff. I asked, just to confirm, if they had any original glazed, and she said no, we've only got the creme filled puff thing. Sad, very, very sad. This location steals from customers. Twice I have placed an online order here and when I showed up I was told the items I ordered were out of stock and that they were giving me a refund, but they kept my money. After the first instance I reached out to customer service but they never responded. The second time I had to dispute the charge with my bank. They never offered me an alternative, they just said "we have to give you a refund because we don't have anything on your order" then they kept my money. On top of theft/fraud, the service here is consistently terrible. We have gone to this Krispy cream in cottleville mo. in the past and each time we go it bugs us more and more. So not getting that dozen, and I was aggravated with every thing at this point so I told my wife to forget the dozen of filled we usually get, so my wife just ordered a dozen glazed. We asked the lady at the window about the military discount we always get so she turned to ask about it after she couldn't find it. The manager, that was the employee in the parking lot, after we heard the lady say she found it, the manager said I don't give out discount's. So didn't get that, we told the lady we had rewards as we handed over the money and got the window closed. She came back with the change and handed my wife the change and flung the window shut as my wife asked for the receipt. So we sat there and waited till she came back to see what we needed and then gave us the receipt. Quite frankly we put up with the not so good service cause we like the donuts but the size of the donuts got smaller and the price has gone up and with out the rewards or discounts I feel the donuts are not worth the price, especially after driving a hour and after this experience we are done. Good ol Krispy Kreme! I used to go here all the time with my mom as a kid. I haven't been in at least 6-7 years. I got these donuts as gift for a friend. (I got one for myself too but shh.) There were donuts available for display but I asked to get the fresh ones being made. The employee was nice and friendly. I got a 3 pack with an extra donut that totaled just under $9. The 3 pack was $5.49 and a single is $1.99. Kinda expensive if you ask me, but a good treat. If you're a donut person, give it a taste! read more

What a shame that where I visited was not prepared or even aware of the giveaway coupon or advertisement. 6021 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, Cottleville I arrived at this location at approximately 2pm. Ahead of me were six cars. We sat for over 25 minutes waiting for the first of six cars to be served. That's right 25 minutes for one car. The lobby was closed and they had only one employee. I spotted him several times behind the building walking around in the rear section of the building doing whatever. I approached the customer in the first car and she stated she's been waiting for over 25 minutes while he decorates her donuts. During this time two of the 5 cars behind her, pulled out of line and left. It took another15 to 20 minutes before I finally got to the service window. When I inquired about the deal, he wasn't aware of what I was talking about and mentioned a deal that is ongoing, that had nothing to do with the advertisement about making any purchase and getting a free dozen of your original glaze. So, in conclusion I waited over 45 minutes and got nothing. Needless to say, I was not happy and surely no one else was. What a joke. I've never saw such a poorly run special and a poorly run business. One employee, the lobby closed, excessive time waiting for others to have their donuts decorated. Customers leaving before finally getting served and those attempting to enter the lobby pulling away because the lobby was closed. I'm sure there will be some excuse, but that won't be satisfactory for me. My intent was to treat the hardworking nurses, tech and doctors who were treating my wife and doing their best against all the odds at Barnes St. Peters. What a shame. I went to the store to get doughnuts from the drive through. I tried to pay with cash and was told they only accept credit cards it bothered me a bit because I was just ordering 3 so I gave my credit card. The process of running my credit card took several minutes. When he came back he gave me my receipt and card back but turned around to get my doughnuts that took another several minutes. I thanked him and started to drive out but stopped to eat one of the doughnuts, this is when things went from bad to worse my doughnuts were ice cold like they had been in a freezer and the glaze was st that point where it has broken down and it's sticky wet. So I pulled into a spot and went inside. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The whole restaurant was a mess doughnut racks everywhere some full some empty anda few employees sitting around a few doing some work.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I asked for my money back do to the mess I have felt with. They said they would give me some that were fresh I asked if you have fresh ones why did I get old ones out of a freezer? The person helping me said I didn't do that, I said no but this store did why would an employee give bad doughnuts that should be in the trash? Again she said I didn't do that. Waste of my morning. To start I was going to get an assorted dozen, and I had a coupon for a a glazed dozen after buying any dozen. The drive thru was long overflowing out of the parking lot so I decided to go inside. To my surprise the door was locked; I went back in my car and continued through the drive thru. After 25 minutes of waiting in a line for five cars to go through I get to the order screen and they tell me they can't do assorted dozens and they're only doing glazed. Me being stupid I keep going and order the two dozen glazed. Waiting another 20 minutes I finally get the doughnuts, take them home and they're all ice cold. Biggest waste of $20 that will never be spent there again after learning this lesson. read more

Ordered on line and went to pick up. Got there, no one answered the drive thru so I pulled up and there was a sign on the widow that said "temporarily closed". Drove around to find the door locked but could see employees standing inside. Knocked on the window and they said we're closed (duh). I motioned to door and one of them opened it. I said I wanted my online order and was told the website shouldn't have accepted the order and I wasn't getting my donuts. Called the customer service number and got an automated message that they would refund the purchase and be in contact in 3 days. No response. Had to call credit card company to file a complaint to get my money back. Don't bother calling they never answer the phone. read more

They said they were not doing any coffee drinks with no other explanation other then they just are not serving that.. I honestly don't see how this place stays in business. It has to be their sales to local stores, because they don't care about their direct public customers. They ignore everyone equally. Top that off with the fact that if you order cream filled your chances of getting custard filled instead are 50% or more. Put in an online pick up order for 2 dozen donuts around 8am today, 15 mins later my order was canceled. So I called to ask if it was a mistake but also what the reason could possibly be that they canceled my order..only to be told that they had a 1000 donut order going out in the next couple hours so they were just automatically canceling any orders that came in. I've worked in food before and this is a very sad way to handle anything like this. There's no way they didn't know about this order ahead of time and should've been more prepared. This place is terrible. I drove all the way out here because it is advertised online that the hot light is on at certain times. I get here, I don't see the light on I asked if they are doing the hot light and girl says we only do that randomly and usually in the morning only. When I asked why is it advertised differently online she said "can I get anything for you." I asked how old the donuts were she told me from this morning and they are in the cooler so they aren't warm or close to being fresh because I went in the evening when it was advertised the hot light on would be on. This location is a disaster. Sometimes the donuts are 'ok' but the other half of the time they are horrible. For example, we preordered special donuts for the Super Bowl. Cute football donuts. When we opened them at home they were chocolate donuts with random globs of white icing. It was so disappointing . Swung by here on my way to visit my daughter one morning. Got to the drive through where there was a flimsy and poorly taped hand-written sign indicating the drive through was not open. There was one worker filling boxes for pick-up orders and another taking care of the people in the lobby. Both seemed fairly grumpy. No friendliness. Got my goodies and arrived at my daughter's house ready to indulge in delicious fresh donuts. I've never been so disappointed by a donut in my life! You might think "even a bad donut is a good donut", but no. The blueberry was more like a cookie with a hole in it. The others were just as dry and crunchy. Service was ok but selection is always a bit lacking. Bring back the glazed creme filled donuts. Not a fan of the regular donuts with creme filling. You have chocolate iced with creme filling and glazed with raspberry filling, but no regular glazed with creme filling. Bring it back! read more
