The name is deceiving because I thought it was only sweets, but they have made the order omelettes and breakfast sandwiches, gyros, Philly, cheesesteaks, burgers, chicken, wings, chicken tenders, & chili, cheese, fries. I saw online they had crullers covered in a strawberry frosting - and it was such a good cruller!! Their jelly donut was heavy and that was really good, too. This place is a MUST!!! I had some friends visiting from out of town so I went by to grab them a legendary banana cream donut to try after we picked up our lunch order from Gioia's. Then I ending up walking out with a motherlode of donuts. It only took one bite of the old fashioned donut to realize it was the BEST donut I have ever had. Gooey, warm and crunchy = perfection. I also love gooey butter flavored anything and that gooey butter donut did not disappoint from the Sweet Spot Cafe. My friend loved the blueberry ones (filled & cake.) so thankful I listened to that worker's recommendation to get the blueberry and old fashioned. Trust me you don't want to skip out!! The St. Ann location has been on my radar for a number of years. This location is newer to me and boy, is it popular. Especially on a weekend morning, the line is just about out the door. They've definitely outgrown this space. That said, it's very well run and the staff is always pleasant. There's plenty of parking and the drive thru makes it even more convenient. I decided to check out sweet spot cafe after hearing lots of recommendations and lots of positive feedback. Upon arrival the dining area and patio was packed and there was a healthy line of customers. The staff was friendly and helpful upon ordering. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a cheese bagel, the whole hog omelette, a breakfast burrito, and half dozen donuts. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich was the stand out in flavor, along with the churro donut. The burrito and omelette were oddly unbalanced due to the cook on the mushrooms taking over the entire flavor profile of the dish, soaking and pre searing the mushrooms would likely have led to a better flavor profile that compliments the other ingredients in the burrito and omelet, instead of the flavor profile taking over the entire dish. Overall the customer service was good, that said the food was average. read more

I love this place! Probably not the place you stop after a hard gym workout but Their bacon, egg and cheese on a bagel is delicious. The team is always so friendly and helpful, I mean when you have 50 donut choices you have to be :). The ambiance well it's often crowded but I've always felt welcomed and like it's family. Always making friends with the cute lil kids excited to tell you about their donuts or the cute old couple sharing the massive 3 egg breakfast plate. The donuts are delicious as is the cannolis! This afternoon I decided to pick up a few donuts because I have been craving a donut AND snow is expected this weekend (so I won't be out). I smiled as I looked at the selection but was devastated to see the Long John tray was empty. The smiling young man behind the counter was SO friendly and nice as he assured me they had more in the back. As I proudly told him that I voted for The Sweet Spot in a national poll for the best bakery/donut shop, he thanked me and suggested that I try their food offerings if I hadn't already. McDonald's could never make a bagel steak egg and cheese sandwich this delicious. I placed my to go order online through Google, which linked to Toast ordering system. I always have to modify my order because I have control issues. I added green peppers, mayo, onions, and substituted cheddar cheese in place of cheese sauce. They even had the option of different types of bagels and I opted for the plain one. I'm always worried about how steak will taste since I know it can be a cheap cut on a sandwhich. Firstly, I recommend the House Gyro. It's huge and delicious. Order two you'll wife will want one as well. The Philly cheesesteak is also good.
