We were looking for a sweet treat after lunch on Hwy K when we noticed this donut shop on Yelp had great reviews, so we decided to give it a try. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Hwy K in a small strip mall in a more residential area. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted and helped right away. The only problem was that there were so many great looking donuts to choose from that it took us a while to decide. We ended up getting four donuts for the two of us. I chose a red velvet donut along with a cherry fritter. Both were really good, but the red velvet was my favorite. It was very fresh tasting with a light texture, and the cream cheese icing on top was a nice added touch. My wife said her double chocolate donut was a little too sweet for her, but it still had great flavor. As I mentioned, there were many other great options, so we'll likely stop by again when we're in the area. read more

Their donuts are so good and fresh! This donut shop came requested by so many people around the area so I knew it was going to be great. They had many options to choose from even though we came later in the morning on a Sunday and every one was delicious! My favorite was their maple glazed. Stopped in today since I heard it was their first day open and boy, glad I did! They had a full selection of donuts at about 9AM. I opted for a specialty half dozen and they didn't disappoint. Many types of cinnamon rolls, cake donuts, some filled donuts, lots of Halloween themed donuts, KILLER apple fritter, and the cherry on top was this fantastic strawberry cream cheese donut. It was the star of the show. Fresh strawberries and cream/cream cheese on the inside and dusted with powdered sugar. The lady working was very sweet and even gave me a free glazed for stopping in! All of these donuts were fantastic and I was pleasantly surprised with the selection. I'm a sucker for a filled donut and they had a few filled options. Found K&J Donuts totally by accident. Located in O Fallon MO, K&J Donuts is a great treat for donut lovers. Stopped by and noticed a different take on traditional donuts. K&J Donuts has good donuts, but they need to be a little more stuctured with their hours of business. Multiple times we have driven there to get a donut during business hours only to find a sign on the door saying "Closed, we ran out of donuts." I could see this happening once or twice, but it happens a lot. Once I even ordered donuts to be delivered because I was sick, internet said they were open, I paid, next thing I know, Door Dash is calling me from in front of the shop saying they're closed. Really!? So either change your hours or make more donuts. This is getting old. read more

I got to start by saying I'm not a big donut guy until I had K&J's Donuts. The service is top notch and the owner(s) are always there making donuts, boxing them up, checking you out, or making a special request. I went in there after the morning rush where selection was a little slim. There were a bunch of glaze donuts but no iced with sprinkles. The owner said I can put icing on them and sprinkles which were outstanding. The donuts are always fresh and delicious. They present well and look like they can be in an ad! It's a nicely decorated storefront which makes you feel at home that I highly recommend if you are a donut connoisseur! If you are not in the O'Fallon area you can try their newest location in Chesterfield. Great people, great food, and all around great business to support! read more

Somebody brought some of their product into work so I had to go back on my Sunday Donut run and get some more. The line was not quite out the door, but it moved pretty quick. Word has obviously gotten out. Standard donut shop decor. As far as the donuts...they're fresh, tasty and they have some novel specialty options. Do not pass this place up. You will regret it. Today was a bit of a bummer. Some equipment was down, so no red velvet cake donut. The one I had the other day was so good, I can't bring myself to deduct a star. I love this place!! Their donuts are the best - so fresh and tasty, with a large variety of different fillings and toppings. Service is terrific. A word of caution though. Late in the day, especially on Sunday, their large display of the donuts will be down to the end of what is available. Go early. read more

Anyone should be able to find something they like. I took the donuts to work and everyone enjoyed them. I tried four different varieties and they were all fantastic. Everyone has different tastes but these donuts are how I love mine!! I only got one but had to restrain myself from eating more! I had one that kinda looked like croissant but was really more like a cinnamon roll. It had a nice glaze around the outside but was soft inside. Then it had a nice amount of icing on top! They don't skimp!! Really will be craving these when I leave to go back to Ohio! read more

Excellent donuts and very friendly staff/owner, but I do wish they had more seating inside. I had taken my three kids with me the morning I went, hoping to have a nice donut breakfast together within the store. We had never been there, and were disappointed to only see one table with two chairs. We ended up taking our donuts out to our car to eat them, which is obviously not ideal... or clean. Selection is beyond belief. All varieties are terrific and staff was very helpful and friendly. All donuts were fresh and tasty. This is now my go to for donuts. I was told about these donuts from a police officer, so who could be a better critic? They have two locations now; the one in O'fallon, Missouri and one in Chesterfield. Our church men's group has been getting donuts here several times a month for a couple months now. I have not been to the store yet in person, but I have enjoyed the donuts. The variety is great, the donuts look great and they taste even better. I have a special place in my heart for a good jelly donut and these jelly donuts are really good. I thought when Heaven Sent donuts closed I would never find a good jelly donut again, but I was wrong, K&J Donuts is well worth a look if you want a good donut. read more

A Cautionary Tale (a real one, not a tall tale): First, I…read morecan't say that I'm writing a super fair review, because I haven't ever been into this donut shop. But my mom bought us some donuts from Olde Towne Donuts. I had a bite of a chocolate cake donut and it tasted fine. However, after eating a chocolate Long John, my 15 year old son informed me that he needed his rescue inhaler and some Benadryl pills, because he was having an allergic reaction. We didn't eat anything unusual for dinner. And the donut was the only other thing he ate. When I called the shop to ask if they use any kind of soy protein or pea protein in the ingredients- sure enough, they do. Before calling, I had searched on their facebook page a little to find out it if they had some special feature to their donuts- like "healthier" because of added protein, but I didn't see any mention of ingredients. When I called to ask, the girl who I initially asked wasn't sure what kind of ingredients they used, so I guess a head baker or owner got on the phone and confirmed that they used soy protein in their donuts. I'm not mad- thankfully my son was pretty quick to recognize it and was home where we were able to give him what he needed right away. Still, I caution not only customers with allergies or sensitivities, but I also have a strong word of advice to the owners: if you don't already have notices of this added protein ingredient posted in the store clearly as a warning, as well as on your website/ social media pages, I urge you to do so. It could seriously be a matter of life or death. My son has what people typically refer to as a "peanut allergy"; people who truly have that allergy are not allergic to nuts (I suppose someone could also have a nut allergy on top of it), but they are allergic to much more than just peanuts; it is a legume allergy. Legumes are plant foods formed inside pods, like beans, peas, and pea"nuts". Nowadays, there are so many unexpected foods that can cause an anaphylactic reaction for people with a legume allergy, because so many processed foods have protein as a filler (like highly processed frozen chicken nuggets). And now manufacturers are proud to boast their food item has "added protein". It is the legume protein that causes the severe allergic reaction, known as anaphylaxis. Which can often occur immediately upon ingesting the allergen and the life threatening symptoms can progress in just a matter of minutes. Thankfully, my son's reaction is not immediate- he usually has at least 30min before it becomes serious requiring immediate intervention, and lately he's been able to curb it by taking Benadryl, but he has had many ER visits and epinephrine as a young child. I have often been warned and urged by nurses and doctors not to take the risk of waiting, but to use the EpiPen injector and call 911 as soon as it is realized that ingested an allergen- even before symptoms- or as soon as he has symptoms -even if he's not sure he ingested an allergen. My point in sharing all of this is to emphasize the importance and seriousness of the matter. Please make it known to your customers in some obvious way (and certainly such that your employees would know) that your delicious donuts are made with soy protein (or pea protein or chickpea protein, or lentil protein- believe me, those are all used as added plant proteins.) Reading labels is second nature to our family, but it's so hard when something fresh made incorporates the allergen into their food that would not typically have added proteins. We love donuts and have eaten them from so many different donut shops and houses of donuts all over the country, but never encountered a hidden allergen in the dough. Let the people know, please!

While there are a lot of options advertised online, only a handful were available with the free offer, and most of them contained coconut. Because of that, I don't feel like I got a fair chance to experience what their dirty sodas have to offer, so I'll probably stick with my usual local spots for those. Now, the cookies are a completely different story. Crumbl cookies are always delicious. They're huge, rich, and definitely made for sharing (or saving half for later!). They're one of our favorite treats for birthdays, celebrations, or just because. I have a teenager, and while flowers might not impress her, surprising her with a Crumbl cookie absolutely does. Ordering through the app is always quick and easy, and my orders have consistently been accurate. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the rewards program. It doesn't really give me much incentive to visit more often. Overall, while I wasn't sold on the dirty soda experience, Crumbl's cookies continue to be some of my favorite sweet treats. They're the kind of dessert that's worth splurging on every once in a while, and we'll definitely keep coming back for the cookies.
