Open in the evening and 24 hours on weekends? This place is the bomb!

Stranded in Fenton and waiting on RV repair, I walked around and saw a line of people waiting their turn. I looked up and the sign just said "DONUTS". I joined the line now reaching outside and waited my turn. SO many delicious choices, I ended up buying a box of 8. Friendly staff assisted me with patience even though they were super busy. The donuts? TO. DIE. FOR! My family back at the RV was so happy!

Donuts all the filled ones are filled with an icing like center but somehow not overly sweet. Highly recommend!

Every time I come here late night, I always remember why. These donuts are so wonderful. I wish I could get there early in the day but at 10:30 PM on a Friday, they have always been nothing but pleasant. I don't know exactly what I'm getting until I get there but I try to have a general idea in case one of the ones I'm looking for isn't there. I genuinely cannot recommend these donuts enough! There are definitely some missing already. The powdered sugar ones with any icing , both chocolate and vanilla angel cream are my favorite donuts. The butter crunch twist ones are a very close second favorite. My husband is not usually a fan of anything overly sweet. I don't know how they do the balance so well. I'm not at all exaggerating, almost every donut he has is typically (our one difference in taste) too sweet. This is not a complaint. I enjoy some of those particular ones so much that if my husband picks up for us, he sends a text me ahead of time if they don't have them for whatever reason (rare). That way I don't secretly wonder if someone snatched it before I got home or something. Really I love this place! Trying to go more but you know, sugar and carbs and stuff. Edited: I edited this to try to make it sound less rambly.

Delicious apple fritters.Cherry turnovers are the best. The staff is very helpful. The extra fee for credit card use needs to go.

This is hands-down the best donut shop in St. Louis. I have been going here for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience.

So huge that I, a lover of all desserts and especially fritters, could not even finish half of it in one sitting. I've had probably 20 different Apple fritters in St. Louis. This is it. One side is Jimmy John's. With the back being Donut Palace. The parking lot is large. The windows were tinted with two doors that had open signs, we weren't sure which one to go in and chose the one on the left. It could get really awkward with two customers walking in from each door at the same time. The left side door felt a little further away from the counter. Inside was super clean and had a cute area for eating in. New location growing pains with the staff not knowing what some of the donuts were. Seemed like the operation was the people behind the counter helped and then a guy at the register rang up. It was fine but felt lackluster. After we made our selection of a dozen with one of those being the massive Apple fritter. The total for the dozen was $28 and seemed excessive even with the massive fritter. When we ate them they were ok. They were a good size but just weren't my cup of tea in taste or price.

A youngish guy came from the back and I said I wanted a fresh donut, that it would likely be the only thing I was going to eat that day, and what did they have to offer? He laughed nervously and said the donuts were made fresh. (Well, duh. But how stale are these that I'm looking at?) There wasn't much selection to chose from. The store is very small and, at this time, it was a mess, grimy and dimly lit. Not appealing at all. I selected a single glazed for nearly $3. I took a bite in the car and got so sad because it was not good. Well, Strange Donuts, I had hoped for some empathy but nope.

I love also that they do collaborations with other places like Hi Point burgers. There is always a smiling staff member there behind the counter, ready to make your choice of donut, nearly impossible by describing each each, and every option, which is not great for someone who is indecisive!! I don't have a lot of experience with gluten-free baked goods, so it doesn't feel genuine to say that the cupcakes that we have gotten from Britt's Bakehouse are the best gluten-free cupcakes we've had. I do, however, feel confident in stating that the cupcakes we have gotten from Britt's Bakehouse are among the best cakes of ANY kind, gluten-free or not, that we have ever had. We are so happy to have found them, they made my son's first birthday after his diagnosis not just bearable, but really special. He chose the chocolate cake, with chocolate buttercream frosting and birthday sprinkles, and they were outstanding. Moist, rich and delicious, and they were as beautiful to look at as they were to eat - but you'll have to trust me, as I didn't act quickly enough to take a photo before they were all gone. I had a birthday recently as well, and we again ordered cupcakes from Britt's and were again delighted. My choices were chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, and they were every bit as lovely and delicious as the ones we got for my son. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the shop is located in an easy-to-reach part of Kirkwood, with plenty of free parking nearby. So far, we have only tried their cupcakes, but they have a large and varied menu that we intend to sample soon (the gluten-free donuts look amazing). Give them a try, even if you aren't gluten-free. You won't be disappointed.

We met the owner, she was decently friendly and explained that they are struggling with getting items made this season and they "need a location 3x bigger and much more staff". Because of this, they were out of a lot of items. They luckily did have gift cards though! We decided to buy a couple bakery items since we were already inside. They were just okay, but we aren't gluten free, so that may explain why they tasted a bit more chalky than your typical dessert. Not sure, but our family friend loves it!
