Open in the evening and 24 hours on weekends? This place is the bomb!

Stranded in Fenton and waiting on RV repair, I walked around and saw a line of people waiting their turn. I looked up and the sign just said "DONUTS". I joined the line now reaching outside and waited my turn. SO many delicious choices, I ended up buying a box of 8. Friendly staff assisted me with patience even though they were super busy. The donuts? TO. DIE. FOR! My family back at the RV was so happy!

Donuts all the filled ones are filled with an icing like center but somehow not overly sweet. Highly recommend!

Every time I come here late night, I always remember why. These donuts are so wonderful. I wish I could get there early in the day but at 10:30 PM on a Friday, they have always been nothing but pleasant. I don't know exactly what I'm getting until I get there but I try to have a general idea in case one of the ones I'm looking for isn't there. I genuinely cannot recommend these donuts enough! There are definitely some missing already. The powdered sugar ones with any icing , both chocolate and vanilla angel cream are my favorite donuts. The butter crunch twist ones are a very close second favorite. My husband is not usually a fan of anything overly sweet. I don't know how they do the balance so well. I'm not at all exaggerating, almost every donut he has is typically (our one difference in taste) too sweet. This is not a complaint. I enjoy some of those particular ones so much that if my husband picks up for us, he sends a text me ahead of time if they don't have them for whatever reason (rare). That way I don't secretly wonder if someone snatched it before I got home or something. Really I love this place! Trying to go more but you know, sugar and carbs and stuff. Edited: I edited this to try to make it sound less rambly.

This is hands-down the best donut shop in St. Louis. I have been going here for over 10 years and have never had a bad experience.

One side is Jimmy John's. With the back being Donut Palace. The parking lot is large. The windows were tinted with two doors that had open signs, we weren't sure which one to go in and chose the one on the left. It could get really awkward with two customers walking in from each door at the same time. The left side door felt a little further away from the counter. Inside was super clean and had a cute area for eating in. New location growing pains with the staff not knowing what some of the donuts were. Seemed like the operation was the people behind the counter helped and then a guy at the register rang up. It was fine but felt lackluster. After we made our selection of a dozen with one of those being the massive Apple fritter. The total for the dozen was $28 and seemed excessive even with the massive fritter. When we ate them they were ok. They were a good size but just weren't my cup of tea in taste or price.

I got there around 2:18 p.m. (they close at 3), so they were sold out of most of their selection. Luckily, I was still able to grab a dairy-free chocolate chip cookie and a lemon blueberry truffle. If I hadn't known the cookie was dairy-free, I never would have guessed. While I usually prefer a softer cookie, this one had a nice balance--a slightly soft center with just a bit of crunch around the edges. I wouldn't have minded a few more chocolate chips, but it was still satisfying. The lemon blueberry truffle, however, was the standout. It was absolutely delicious. The attendant mentioned they come frozen and that most people actually prefer them that way. After trying it, I can see why. The first bite reminded me of the blueberry cake donut from Kwik Trip, but with a bright hint of lemon that made it even better. Overall, both treats definitely hit the spot. Next time, I'll be sure to get there earlier so I can choose from the full selection!
