Meh - I've had other Mochi doughnuts that taste much better. Parking is in a small lot in a strip mall so depending on the time, it may be difficult to get a spot close. The inside is nice and staff is very friendly. I came around 3 and they have a variety of doughnuts which most were still out and on display. Likely why they taste so stale and not fresh at all. Decent mochi donuts. They make it fresh and I got the matcha one. Had good flavour to it although I did find it had the oily taste. Staff was friendly and food came quick. Very easy location to get to with close parking. To the left is the tea and coffee side, straight forward counter has donuts and is where you order the Korean hot dogs. I ordered the potato half mozzarella half hot dog. It tasted like funnel cake breading with fries. I think salt and a dipping sauce would make it super yummy. He got the Cheetos half mozzarella half hot dog and he said it was crispy and not spicy despite the flaming hot Cheeto breading. I have been wanting to go since they opened and very excited to try out the items on the menu. I came in around 12:30pm on a Sunday. The place wasn't packed and there were plenty of tables. I got a strawberry croffle and Ube Milk tea with brown sugar boba. The drink came out almost immediately so they must have used a premix powder, which is fine with me but just not my preference. The Ube Milk tea was just average. The croffle looked great on the menu but it's very small for that price in my opinion. Also I was expecting it to be warm like a waffle but I was wrong. Kind of disappointing... maybe I'll stick with the corndogs and mochi donuts next time. Overall, I think the menu is great but what I ordered weren't so much. Mochiatsu opened recently in the 141 & Manchester area which I frequent. I happened to be in the vicinity on a Sunday and stopped in for a few mochi donuts. I chose Brown Sugar Milk Tea and Strawberry. The guy apparently did not understand me and I don't know what flavor he gave me instead of the strawberry. That one was good but I really enjoyed the Brown Sugar Milk Tea donut. These were fresh and the mochi had that perfect bouncy texture. Mochiatsu fries? Be warned that what you see in the picture is not cheese sauce but some sort of aioli -- still good. Taro mochi donut? Perfection. Pistachio croffle? Absolutely divine! (Please add savory croffles to the menu!) The coconut slush with boba? So wonderful! And now the 3 Korean rice hot dogs: We got all half hot dog and half mozzarella, but 3 different toppings. 1. Potato Rice 2. Cheetos Rice 3. Cornflakes All of them were so yummy but I want to warn you, the cornflakes one? It's a sweet/savory mix. So the outside has sugar and sprinkles...and totally tastes like a donut. I 100% was not expecting that. I still ate the whole thing, but I'm not sure I would have ordered that one had I known it was sweet like that. My brother and I came here to try for the first time on a Sunday around 12:30pm and we were not disappointed! It was surprisingly vacant and the staff were nice and helpful. Plenty of seating, spacious, and not a noisy environment. Honestly this is probably my favorite korean corn dog place compared to other places we've tried like CM Chicken & Ssong's or Paris Banh Mi. I think the quality of the korean dog is good, cheese pull is great, and I'm not sure how to explain it but the batter can make or break it and I just really liked this one. Good service and nice atmosphere. I cannot say enough good things about the mochi donuts! For people who cannot eat wheat products, these are made with rice flour. This gives the dough a chewier quality (Mochi) which is very satisfying and kind of forces you to eat the donut slowly. They are made so that it's like a bunch of donut holes strung together which makes them visually appeals but also serves to make them easy and neat to consume. They are much less sweet than traditional donuts which is a plus for me and they have a wide variety of flavors. I tried a bubble tea this time and it was very good. They offer to adjust the sweetness level so if you avoid other places that do bubble tea because they are "too sweet" or "not sweet enough" your problem is solved! I haven't had any of their savory treats yet but the Korean hot dogs are in my future They offer boxes like Crumble that give you a better price so bring your whole gang and remember to SUPPORT LOCAL! read more

WOW - this place is a hidden gem, for sure!!! I ordered the fruit iced tea with popping boba but can't remember which flavors, as well as the mochiatsu fries. They were both delicious! The food was amazing, the mochi donuts were soft and had an amazing texture. Their corn dogs were awesome as well and they have a bunch of different combos you can order.
