Come on into Steve's Hot Dogs- Chesterfield!

Stopped by on the Yelp Passport tour. St Louis dog- lots of peppers and onions, plus bacon and Provolone. Unique smoked mustard. Tasty dog!

We went here before a show at the factory. It was perfect for a quick bite to eat. They even sold some canned beer and cocktails and had a few on draft. The combinations of hot dogs are pretty endless, we got a chili dog and an adult grilled cheese. The food was pretty good.. the hot dog was definitely the start of the show over the sandwich. The atmosphere was cool, kind of an old timey arcade vibe with some pinball machines. The lady who helped us was kind and helpful, they were quick getting the food out and it was nice to be able to sit outside.

We ordered while we were sitting on the patio at Narwhal's. You scan the tables QR code, order and they deliver it right to you. My son and I both ordered a chili cheese dog and 1 order if fries. The chili and toppings on the franks was really good. Hotdog was good too but maybe I'm more if a fried Hotdog person. My son said the same about his Hotdog. Its not bad and something you should try. They have many different options for toppings and their crinkle cut fries are fried just right.

Stopped by for a bite before a show at the Factory. It was fast, clean, and flavorful! The staff were excellent and the food was fresh. The fries are LEGIT. Plus, they have some board games to play with the fam if you have time!

Enjoyed dinner at Steve's! We ordered at the counter and the person working was friendly and attentive. You can choose from 4 different bread types for your hot dog. We got the St. Louis style dog and chili cheese dog. Both were delicious. You can add a fountain drink and fries for $4 which is a great bargain. While eating, we enjoyed looking at all the concert posters from the area. Would definitely recommend stopping in. Can't wait to try the Mac n cheese next time.

First time trying this and it was a good experience. Slightly salty for me but the flavour was good. I got the traditional soft bun but they have other options. The fries were also decent! They were pretty busy and had a bit of a wait. Would try the other ones they have when I get the chance.

I've had Steve's a number of times, but have missed out on reviewing it! These hot dogs are top notch. They taste fresh and the additions/flavors they incorporate blend together so seamlessly. Generally, I'm a hot dog traditionalist--ketchup and mustard are all I need. But at Steve's, you've got to try something different. You won't be disappointed! Bonus--staff members are always great.

Being someone who is allergic to both beef and pork this wasn't a place I was excited to try. However the family I have been with loves hotdog so we went in. It is the coolest cutest place inside. So many things to look at. What was equally impressive is that they had vegan hotdog options, and on top of that macaroni and cheese bowls, special grilled cheese sandwiches, pretzel bit....so there was plenty for me to get, which was a nice surprise! they have plenty of seating inside... But with the weather still being so nice most people take it and sit outside, watch a football game, mingle, people watch. It is in a great location that just keeps growing and growing. I'm very unexpected surprise for me!

I'm not a regular consumer of hot dogs but decided to check this place out since they showed up on the inKind App. Well, this place was pretty good. Tried a St Louis style and their version of the Chicago style. Personally, I preferred the freshness of Chicago. St Louis was a bit too "heavy" for my tastes but I can appreciate the massive amounts of flavor. Service was friendly; it wasn't so busy so the guy who made put our order together delivered our food to our table. Ambiance was emo; that's how my kid described it, with the music and wall decor. I'm not from here but apparently, Steve is a pretty popular guy; some customers stopped by wanting to see him and were showing the staff pics of themselves with him.

We went to Steve's Hot Dogs on Labor Day in the evening and The Hub wasn't crowded at all! We ordered our food online from our table. My husband went in to get it a few minutes before it was supposed to be ready. They finished it up and handed it to my husband who brought it directly to our table. Our food was cool. It wasn't even room temp. Our friends had ordered their food separately and theirs was also not warm, let alone hot. I did get pretzel bites with a side of cheese sauce and it was warm, but should have been warmer. We ordered from my husband's phone and he got a message asking how things were. He told them and they said sorry and gave him a $10 off coupon. We won't be using it. If everything was made to order and made fresh, how was it not even warm? I was so disappointed as I had been looking forward to checking them out for quite a while! Maybe other locations are better? We won't be going g back.

This is a new location that recently opened up and I've been excited to try it. I love a good chili dog and theirs did not disappoint. The hotdog itself has a slight smokey taste to it that went well with the chili, the chili is pretty mild so if you don't like a lot of spice this is a good choice! I did the meal deal which included fries and a fountain drink, the fries were okay (just your typical crinkle cut). I'm looking forward to coming back and trying their hotdog flight! My only complaint is $13.50 seems somewhat steep for a chili dog meal, but still not terrible!

We've been eating at Steve's Hot Digs since the Hill location days. Having a location in the District Chesterfield is convenient and a great location. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hit dogs

Love supporting this growing local chain! Food is always excellent as well as service. Location has a little more room than original Grand location and GREAT decor! Same great menu and love having more food options in The District! We have tried all locations (except the new Delmar) as well as Steve's Meltdown in City Foundry. Love that they also represent at STL City, Blues and Battlehawks. Perfect for families, quick business meals and just hanging out!

Today I was meeting up with a former work colleague and friend from Australia. It just so happened that we were in town at the same time. She was having a business lunch meeting at Annie Gunn's, so we decided to meet there after the meeting. I didn't eat, but they did during their meeting and quite enjoyed the food. The three of us (my former colleague and a current colleague of hers) all enjoyed a tea while we caught up. It absolutely tasted fresh brewed. Their first waiter left without clearing the table, so when the new server cleared it up and was so kind, she was rewarded with a nice tip and some Lindt pistachio truffles, which I brought for my friends. 98% of my reviews include photos, but because we were all caught up in conversation, I didn't take any this time. You can imagine my utter delight, then, when I was presented with an opportunity to purchase such a meal, as part of a promotion Hi-Pointe is running with 4 Hands, a local running group and a number of other local restaurants. The way it works is, you visit 10 of these restaurants in the span of about a month, purchase a menu item created in collaboration with 4 Hands, run for at least one mile and then post about it on social media. If you visit all 10, you get a case of City Wide, a t-shirt and a few other things that probably don't add up to the cost of the 10 menu items. I wasn't sure if I was going to bother, in part because it began while I was training for a marathon and I couldn't afford to be eating all of those sandwiches, ice cream and what have you, let alone the beer. Plus, who has that kind of money? But I was there, to meet up with another group I run with, so I figured I'd go ahead. If I changed my mind at a later date, I'd have to come back. I work nearby, but I'm not trying to visit the cursed District if I don't have to. With all due respect. Hi-Pointe's #CITYWIDE10 promotion had been running for two days at this point, but apparently no one had ordered it. A guy in the back who looked like a homeless version of Gilfoyle from Silicon Valley had to open a sleeve of the cardboard boxes. I would have refused to accept the meal, if it didn't come in the box, even if it still counted towards the contest, as a matter of principle. The Burg Box, as they're calling it, comes with a burger, fries, a 12 oz can of City Wide and a beer koozie--which I guess functions as the toy in this equation. Certainly, it could be used as a toy, if you're especially special-needs. A dog would have a field day with it. I could have used a 16 oz can of City Wide, but I couldn't complain too much, since it was pretty much free. I only paid $14.99 for the whole thing. They don't even let you eat the free peanuts at Five Guys for $15. Also, the bigger can might not fit in the box, and it was important that all the other patrons, including several girls, saw me carrying my meal to the al fresco dining section like a little suitcase. I hadn't had a burger from Hi-Pointe since the one on McCausland opened, back in the '70s. Now I'm wondering what I was thinking. Well, aside from not having any money. It might have been worth becoming one of those guys who stands around in Walmart and asks you who your cell phone provider is. The meat is seasoned to the point where even the most unemployed X f/k/a Twitter users would approve. The patented "smash burger" process produces a crust on its exterior like a classy well-done steak. It's a large enough piece of meat (no Diddy) that it both hangs over the side of the bun and isn't reduced to the consistency of shoe leather as a result of being flattened into the griddle. The fries are those seasoned fries you might get at a Rally's or somewhere. Which I guess you have to do if you're starting a restaurant, since there's no way you can go head-to-head with McDonald's and emerge victorious. Have you ever tried eating the fries at an In-N-Out? It's disgusting! The fact that Hi-Pointe didn't make this mistake just goes to show the thought they put into this operation.
