This small bakery is located in a plaza with a fair amount of parking. This is takeout only. The service was very good and friendly on my visit. With any good bakery, you have to get there early to get the best selection. On this particular Saturday, I was told the cookies were the first to sell out. I decided on a brownie type square, a key lime square (with the cutest tiny lime piece), and some Scottish shortbread cookies. After bringing it home and taking a few bites, I discovered visible mold inside the dessert (not just on the surface, but within the cream layer). This is not a minor quality issue - it indicates improper storage or expired product. Selling moldy food is a serious health risk. Stopped in on Saturday after breakfast at Jenny's Diner. Woman behind the counter was friendly and answered by questions. Giving me info about the bakery and some of the additional bakers. They serve some Trolley Track cookies, Trolley Stop items, and some items from the bakery coop. I like the idea and recognized Tipsy Goat logo. She gave out a sugared waffle as a sample and it was really good. I also purchased a slice of banana bread and a mini peach cobbler. They were ok, I liked the waffle the best. Its a small space without any seating, register is next to the bakery case with items on top and a rack near the door with more items. Cute little bakery. Not much seating but we were just picking up a couple treats mid running errands. The worker behind the counter was friendly and helpful. We got a tiramisu, coconut cream pie, tiger cake and a few macarons. The tiramisu was enough for two people and was delicious. My daughters had the tiger cake and coconut cream pie. We love supporting this local collective of bakers. The danish was out of this world, and they had a large selection of breakfast pastries which we will remember for future weekend coffee runs. What a sweet little place. My husband and I ran in to get a mid-day treat and were greeted by the Owner, Mike, who turned 90 today! The Belgium Waffles!!! and cannolis were game changers. I stopped in the Wednesday before Thanksgiving not knowing what to expect from Trolley Shop. I am a major macaron lover and stopped in to give them a try - wow! True Parisian style macarons, they were soft and moist and packed with flavor. I only tried 1 but am looking forward to going back for more! I also picked up a cheese stolen for the family and it was a crowd favorite! As you can see by the picture it was hard to snap a shot before it was gone. The stolen paired well with dessert on Thanksgiving but even more so with coffee the next morning! I was served by who I learned to be the owners husband, my conversation with him was a highlight of my visit, I never would have thought to try the stolen if he hadn't recommended it. I was looking for a bakery to make custom sugar cookies for my sister-in-law's baby shower with less than a week's notice. I had never been to Trolley Stop before but decided to give them a try - WOW, I'm so glad I did! They did an amazing job. They advised us they would bake our order early this morning. Picked up order at 10:00. Our guests were ALL impressed that the large cinnamon rolls were superior and super delicious. I have been to Trolley Stop Bakery 3 times now and the service has always been very pleasant and the staff is so kind! It seems like a family-owned business. I have tried several items. I got the French Silk Pie and Coconut Creme Pie today. I was told that I made a very good choice by selecting the French Silk Pie as it is very smooth and he wasn't wrong. It is soooo good! I 100% recommend getting that when you come to the bakery. The chocolate mousse has the right amount of sweetness and bitterness of the dark chocolate and the bottom Oreo cookie crust just makes it so special. The coconut Creme pie filling is not too sweet. It is smooth and creamy with the crunch coconut flakes in the end. I also recommend their Key Lime Pie! It is tangy, creamy and just perfect treat for those looking for a citrusy dessert. Went in early afternoon, not the best time to visit a bakery, but they had some yummy-looking things left. We tried the cinnamon rolls, gooey butter cake, and a couple other items went into the freezer for later tasting. The cinnamon rolls were the best I've had in a long time--just the right texture and taste, soft and delicious. This Co-Op baker offers such a variety! Everything is presented so beautifully and tastes amazing!! I got the opportunity to speak with Mike, and he was so sweet! You can really see the passion his wife and him have for the Bakery and he was able to recommend different treats for me. Mike said next time I need to come early as everything is so good they do sell out on items!! Today I got the raspberry brownie macaroon which has a raspberry jelly filling that was a surprise & delicious! Fabulous food- terrific service- we liked everything so well we returned the following day to get some items for a brunch we were attending. Absolute BEST bakery I've been too. I don't have a sweet tooth but I have now gone to this business two days in a row and it's a 30 minute drive for me. The little old man behind the counter is precious, service is amazing and the food is SO GOOD. My boyfriend is obsessed with macaroons and even I found one that I liked for the first time!
