One of my co-workers was gracious enough to share these cupcakes she received as a gift and OMG! Delicious!! There were so many to choose from, I tried the Strawberry cupcake and it was delectable! Another co-worker tried the Wedding Cake option and she luved it! Trying my best not to eat another one, but it's very hard! read more

It's so hard to choose! All of the cupcakes look perfect, but I couldn't resist the wedding cupcake. It was an almond flavored white cupcake with buttercream frosting, and it tasted as good as it looked. read more

I ordered cupcakes from here for an event and it was delightful! The ordering process was super easy- I completed it 5 days out from pick up online. I'm someone who likes their ducks in a row, so the ability to do it that far out was much appreciated. I picked them up at 345 in the afternoon and they were ready to rock and roll. Staff was so pleasant and helpful! You can order specific items or an assorted variety. I ordered 3 dozen assorted and 1 dozen mini assorted, and Small Cakes delivered!! LOTS of options in each box, all beautiful and presented so lovely. Tons of appreciative event attendees for these, and lots of compliments on how they were crafted. The best part was that they were delicious too!! I will definitely be returning. read more

I was having lunch close by and this place caught my eye. Um, cupcakes! Yes please!! The space is warm and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful with their menu. The photos I have here don't do this place justice. Per the menu, they boast 12 regular flavors and then have a few seasonal and items that vary by the week. I went with the almond wedding cupcake. The presentation is just beautiful. The cake was tender and delicious. The icing was just that perfect amount of sweetness without being too much. I will have to pop in again soon to try their other flavors and the ice cream!! read more

Amazing and delicious cupcakes! The family that owns and operates this store is kind and provides great service. We grab cupcakes for all special occasions and they are high quality! read more

Absolutely adore this place. Every single time I have been, by myself, with my daughter, with my entire family, the customer service is spectacular. The father of the baker is usually there helping out and is kind, genuine and friendly. The Baker herself has come out and chatted with us as well and she is so sweet too! It's a wonderful addition to the already incredibly delicious cupcakes and ice cream. I have tried most all of the cupcakes, but the one I crave and will go in to just grab one for my own after dinner treat is the chocolate cream! If you like chocolate, it's a MUST! I have not ordered custom yet but almost every time I am inside, someone is picking up a custom order. I look forward to my next party so we can order something custom. One of the things I really appreciate is there are always seasonal flavors which gives you a chance to try a different item, if you want. Sometimes the seasonal flavor is so amazing though, that when it's gone it's so hard to wait for the next time it comes around, but it's totally worth it because anything great is worth waiting for. It's a cute, little, quaint and clean space. Small tables with minimal seating inside or out if you want, but I think most people get their items to go! Must try location and certainly some of the nicest owners/bakers I've ever come across which just adds to the sweetness of the store! read more

Do you ever walk into a store and know it is going to be good based on presentation alone?! Well, that is Smallcakes in a nutshell. The shop is beautifully decorated from head to toe. Their daily display of cupcakes is right up front ready for you to choose! In addition they offer ice cream, mini cupcakes, decorated sugar cookies, chocolate covered Oreos, cake pops AND pupcakes, which my 125 lb Great Pyrenees loves!!! There are gluten free and dairy free options as well! This is a family run business which I absolutely love. Each time I have been. I have always been greeted by the staff. When I look for a bakery I look for a cupcake that I can't just go and find in any store. Smallcakes offer numerous flavors, and specialty flavors, and they don't skimp on the serving. Sweet, solid cupcakes, beautifully decorated! Do not pass this shop by!!! Excellent in every w read more

Delicious, perfect, airy cupcakes and even more perfect ice cream and sorbets. The ice creams are nice and strong, something I've always looked for in an ice cream so you can still taste it after your tounge is half frozen. I can't get enough and I've been going once or twice a week, and probably will be more once the summer hits. The coffee, chocolate, raspberry, and strawberry ice creams are awesome. The cupcake and icing is a nice sweet pick-me-up, I'd say on the level of a caramel frappe. Thankfully not insanely sweet like those grocery store cakes where there's enough sugar to keep it shelf stable for a month and only edible for kids. read more

Got the cupcakes today on what I expect to be an extremely busy day. The strawberry and cream was epic. Highly recommend. This place has amazing cupcakes. Great strawberry flavor. The texture of the cake was so light and moist. This is the best cupcake I've had, and I've had many. ;) Recommend to give this place a try!!! Strawberry and almond are my favorite cake flavors but they all are good. Checkout online order ahead options. They also have rotating weekly flavors. Staff is super nice too! read more

We stopped by after lunch since we were in the area. It popped up on Yelp. I'm so glad we stopped! First - the dad is so proud of his girls!! He was working and when we told him we'd never been, we got the full run down. He's very proud of them and as a fellow parent, I loved it. What a great family atmosphere. My kids got the ice cream (chocolate and cookie dough) and raved about it. My husband and I opted for cupcakes. Everything was fantastic. Will stop by if we're in the area again! read more

Smallcakes - 4 pack of sweetness - Cupcakes Near Me - Chesterfield, Missouri

My review only pertains to their pup cakes. My sister went to the location in Kirkwood and brought Oat's 2 pup cakes to try. They were in a cute pink box and the cupcakes were mini, frosted on the top with a miniature milk bone dog treat. Now milk bone aside, because I do not feed those to my baby, the cupcake was soo cute. I was informed that the cupcake was made from their carrot cake base and edible for human consumption. If you know me, then you know my fur-babies are my world. I'm really picky about what I give them and I have to be able to consume it as well. I opt for human grade, preferably organic ingredients. I was so impressed with the cupcakes I was going to head back out to Kirkwood the next day. I happened to be in Chesterfield Valley and Yelped Small Cakes and saw there was a Chesterfield location close by. I called to place an order for pup cakes to secure dessert for the baby. I spoke with Natalie who was very nice and set aside numerous pup cakes for pickup later. I was grabbing cupcakes for my coworker's dog and my baby. I arrived later in the afternoon for pick-up and my bag was waiting on the counter. The shop is quaint and to the point. There are cupcake displays lining the counter and towards the back they have a freezer section that holds their homemade ice-creams. As soon as I walked into the shop I was acknowledged and greeted with a smile. The gentleman assisting me said he was the father and it was his daughters shop. He had the best personality and customer service a person could ask for. He was tickled that I only came into the shop to grab an order for my fur-baby. I told him I was tempted with all the beautiful cupcakes and flavors. He offered me a sample of their raspberry ice-cream. It was raspberry and another flavor I couldn't remember. It was absolutely delicious! Since it was hot on Saturday I settled on ice cream for myself. When I arrived home with the goods, I had to immediately give Oatmeal a treat. WHYYYYYYY when I broke open that cupcake was it incredibly moist?!?! I was plating it for Oat's and the smell was incredible and since the moist cake was slightly stuck on my fingers, of course I had to taste it. I was soooo impressed with the flavor and quality put into a treat for a fur-baby. I went on their website to inquire about dog birthday cakes and sent an email. I received an immediate response from Natalie regarding order details and pricing. Oat's has a July birthday and I like to plan ahead. I also like out of the box cake options for her. I love a good carrot cake and to be able to share that same love with my baby, warms my heart. They offer a carrot cake pup cake with cream cheese peanut butter frosting.........WHAAATTTTT!!!!! This place is my new go-to for cupcakes for the baby. On my next visit I'll be grabbing a cupcake for myself. read more

I picked up cupcakes at Smallcakes for New Year's Eve. I have been to another location previously but I had never been to this one. The woman who waited on me had to be the owner because she was extremely enthusiastic about the product and very friendly. I chose: Pink Champagne, Pink Vanilla, Birthday Cake, Wedding Cake, Chocolate Merlot, Carrot Cake, Chocolate and maybe Vanilla Chocolate. We cut them up and sampled them that evening. They were good and fresh but we all felt some of them were lacking in flavor. We have all eaten a lot of cupcakes! I'm sure I'll be back again because visually they are super cute! read more

Really cute place, lots of flavor options but not TOO many that it would be overwhelming. Moist, fluffy cupcakes and flavorful ice creams. Loved the pupcake too. Super nice, friendly staff too. We stopped in today from out of town. The gentleman proudly told us of which family members made each of the beautiful confections. The cupcakes are delicious. But, the star of the show was the PHENOMENAL cake pop! My daughter, who makes her own, and I couldn't believe how it tasted like a cupcake on a stick. The proportions in the cake pop were perfect! I'll be back when we are down this way. Better than our Small Cakes back home! read more

Since I missed the first four months not knowing Smallcakes was here, I'm trying to make up for it by going two days in a row. Of course I just had to go back today because I didn't take any photos to share. (Insert sarcasm here) Clean, inviting, bright colors, great display of cupcakes with descriptions of each, great lighting, cute seasonal decorations and friendly staff. The cupcakes are moist and full of flavor. At approximately $4 per cupcake you can take one home "for a friend." My sister wanted a cupcake/icing combination that they didn't have...no problem here...they just zipped in the back and made her just what she wanted. How she came up with something other than the dozen plus choices available is beyond me but now we know that if you can name it, they can make it, even special seasonal (Halloween at the moment) super cute cupcakes. In house made ice cream. Quite a few flavors but I didn't try...yet. There was a pink unicorn flavor a little girl was happily ordering while I was there. Just three tables to sit at but not crowded together and probably most people carry out but you have options. Delicious and I can't wait to go back...maybe tomorrow. read more

Amazing experience, highly recommend! Ordered birthday cupcakes for my boss (who lives locally) on behalf of our team, and the owner went above and beyond (I am based in CA)-- it was a super easy order via phone, and she even offered to pick up a birthday card and deliver to the location as was on her route home. The reviews alone speak to how tasty the cakes and cupcakes are-- but it's the amazing customer service that will make me a repeat customer when in town for work travel. read more

I wanted to make sure I posted a big thank you and kudos to Smallcakes in Chesterfield, MO. I reached out last week (later in the week) and needed basically 3 dozen custom cupcakes for Monday morning. Smallcakes is closed on Sunday and doesn't ordinarily open until 11 am on Monday. My program began at that time so I needed to pick up the cupcakes earlier. The cupcakes were adorable and so wonderfully individually boxed. Thank you so much, Natalie and your team at Smallcakes!! read more
