Contacted Susie's on Wednesday, we exchanged information about specifics, someone followed up with some additional questions and we had this delightful masterpiece to pick up on Saturday. It may have cost (slightly) more than other places, but the level of customer service, the quality of the taste of the cake and the confidence we had in knowing we would be getting a nut free product, made it worth every penny. Other chain bakeries were cheaper but it was all stock decorations (pick the flowers or the balloons) and no creative genius allowed...I gave them an idea and they ran with it. Had a last minute request for 48 cupcakes for the next day, and these folks delivered. I had never tried their cupcakes but read a few other reviews and "urgently" needed cupcakes for a party. Even putting the cupcakes out I could tell they were super moist and smelled delicious. I originally ordered a cake from this bakery for a baby shower. I went in persona fewweeks in advance to place my order. It was super easy. I explained what I wanted and sent pictures of 2 cakes that I wanted to be used for inspiration. 2 days before my event, I had to make an emergency order to add 48 cupcakes to my order. The lady that I spoke with was pleasant, very willing to help, and super accommodating. The evening before my event, the decorator called with questions to confirm my order for the cake and cupcakes. Even though it was way after hours, she was friendly and offered her suggestions on the final outcome. When I received my order, I was beyond pleased. The cake and cupcakes were amazing on the I side and out. The taste was incredible. I couldn't be happier with my experience.
