Walking in, you see a full display of their delicious looking doughnuts that make you question your dietary choices... My group ordered some goodies and I ordered my keto doughnut. Was INCREDIBLY bummed when one of the employees told me they were out of the chocolate doughnut, but he had some chocolate keto frosting. I told him to give me whatever they had. These are great donuts! It's all the same donut with different icing, good news is it's a solid donut- soft & perfectly sweet. The maple flavored ones are very good, the blueberry was great as well. The strawberry icing was only mildly strawberry but good regardless. I would love to try the savory ones, next time for sure! That's a cool switch up for a donut shop! Parking was a breeze! There's a drive in for those lucky people who can decide what they want! As for the doughnuts, they are hands down the best donuts I have had (and I travel to Chicago a lot!) and will be going back. Not your basic flavors, but all delicious! The doughnuts are not bad either, some of them were overly sweet but some were also good. It's a bit of a hit or miss for me as I don't enjoy sweet things as much (personal preference) but I guess it would be enjoyable with a nice cup of coffee. We did two mixed boxes, cut them into fourth's and allowed everyone to taste what they wanted. Fall is in the air, so their fall flavors are out -- apple pie, pumpkin chai are two we tried. Mildly pricey, as it was more than four dollars a donut. That being said they were a quality doughnut- although definitely not in a traditional style. They were big and definitely not really eatable like a doughnut. You almost have to cut them up or break it in half. Little bit lighter if you'd like that style. But the flavors were good and they had many different kinds such as a banana split donut, French toast, style, caramel apple and so on and so forth.. My donut was given to me in a bag without any napkins wrapped around it. Just a donut thrown into the bottom of the bag. After noticing it, I went inside and asked them for the wrapper that usually goes around the donuts. They had no issue with me grabbing it but if it was that simple, why wouldn't they put it in there in the first place? I was going to be out in Wentzville for the Renaissance Festival, so that worked out. These aren't your typical cake or yeast donuts, they're "layered". Like a croissant. Most people seem to order to go, but they have tables so you can devour on site if you can't wait to get home and don't want to eat in your vehicle.
