It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Hwy K in a small strip mall in a more residential area. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted and helped right away. The only problem was that there were so many great looking donuts to choose from that it took us a while to decide. We ended up getting four donuts for the two of us. I chose a red velvet donut along with a cherry fritter. Both were really good, but the red velvet was my favorite. It was very fresh tasting with a light texture, and the cream cheese icing on top was a nice added touch. My wife said her double chocolate donut was a little too sweet for her, but it still had great flavor. As I mentioned, there were many other great options, so we'll likely stop by again when we're in the area.

If you need three dozen or more, you can call ahead and they'll have your order ready when you walk in. You just have to stop at the counter to pay, which makes picking up a larger order really easy. This location has a special place in my heart because I remember when they opened in Cottleville back in 2012. I actually watched the Coming Soon banner in front of the store when I drove by to work while I was pregnant. When I went on maternity leave, I would take my brand-new baby there, then sit in the car with her and eat my donut and drink my chocolate milk. It was our little outing together. When I returned to work, I would sometimes treat myself to an Old Fashioned donut on Fridays, and sometimes even the flavor of the day. I don't think they do that any more and I really miss the flavor-of-the-day donuts! One of my favorites was the peanut butter flavor. I've watched this location grow over the years and add more drinks and other options, but one thing has never changed: the donuts are still delicious.
