The protein bites and treats are absolutely amazing! We particularly like the chickpea avocado and the MVP. Everything is made to order so be prepared to wait for a few minutes but it's so worth it. This is not fast food; the focus here is on providing high quality nourishment. Hanna, Anna and everyone else there are terrific, so helpful and friendly. We love this place. My partner and I had a couple of week routine of grabbing smoothie bowls here, and they were fantastic! The service here was mostly great: the employees were friendly, albeit not super helpful on suggesting substitutions or anything. That was fine since we knew what we wanted most of the time. The last time we came in, however, wasn't the greatest: the employee who took our order didn't pass on the order correctly, which meant our order was wrong. Thankfully we were able to get it corrected immediately, so that's good. The shop itself has some tables and chairs, and it's very organized and inviting. I do like the grab and go section full of shots and snacks. That's a nice touch. I really like the smoothie bowls here, but the price is sooo steep. For the smallest bowls, we pay over $28 for two. That's without any crazy additions, and we just can't continue doing that. There are cheaper places with more variety in the smoothie bowl area. We ended up grabbing a blender and started making ours at home which, even with a ton of interesting additions, we are averaging about a dollar for HUGE bowls, so I'm totally cool with it! Just expect a rather large tab here, especially if you get a smoothie. read more

When the sign says please be patient, we are making all orders fresh, they're not wrong! They are busy with online orders and walk-in orders - it took 29 minutes for my green ginger juice. The juice is great and tastes exactly like my homemade juice, but without the hassle of getting out my juicer and cleaning it afterwards. They are located in a small plaza with plenty of parking. The restaurant is very clean, airy and bright. I shared with the staff that it was my first time and they were so incredibly friendly, kind and accommodating. I ordered the paninni as a meal and it came with Siete chips. On my second visit I got a vegan BLT off their seasonal Summer menu. They have a refrigerated case to get beverages, wellness shots, protein bites and dessert-type items. There was also a few grab and go wraps. This is a great spot to eat whole foods and/or vegan. They have cold pressed juice, smoothies, smoothie bowls, sandwiches and wraps. I really wanted to love this place- it's nearby, it has fresh vegetarian options and smoothies and juices. However, while I realize good food can cost more and don't usually have issue with paying for this, $10 for each smoothie (in a 16 oz cup) seemed a tad high-especially since both of ours tasted so sour it almost had a vinegar taste to it. I've had natural smoothies around the world and these were hard to drink because they were so acidic. My daughter got the Avo/Chick pea sandwich. It was beautiful - tomatoes and cucumbers and micro-greens but the avocado/chickpea mix was very salty - as if someone spilled salt into the mix when making it. My basil+tomato panini was small, one layer of tomatoes, a small amount of cheese, and tasted ok, until I found a half-sliced tomato sticker in the middle of the sandwich. In the end, neither of us were able to finish our sandwiches or smoothies. The two young women working were busy in their own conversation together and didn't engage much with us at all. The place was decorated cute inside and had an outdoor table option too. It felt fairly clean - but I did notice crumbs along the wall on the floor as we waited, it looked as though when sweeping, no one bothered to move chairs. I can look past this kind of thing. The smoothie bowls looked good, I'd maybe give those a try but otherwise I'd much rather make these smoothies and sandwiches at home and save $45+. Like I said, I was excited to try this place and really wish our experience -- and food- was better. read more

Absolutely delicious! This is the first smoothie bowl spot that I have found in the St. Charles area that compares to my favorite spots in the city! The bowl sizes are extremely impressive and I love all the fruit toppings. The building is a great location with tons of natural light and refreshing decorations that creates an overall happy feel to the spot. They were very busy the day I visited. How exciting for them! If you want a cute cafe to stop by in Cottleville and have time to spare, this is the place for you. Although it is a little pricey, I love that it's vegan friendly and that they have plenty of options. Staff was extremely friendly. One gentleman in particular took very good care of customers and helped them in answering all of their questions. Even with the staff being as harworking as they are, I can tell that there aren't good business practices in place. I waited over a half an hour for one bowl. No management of staff and poor organization no doubt the culperate. I'm sure you're thinking, 'nice staff, great food, why the one star?' The answer is the owners. Minimum wage for any entry level job is not a problem for me. And although they do pay slightly over minimum wage, they don't tip out their clientele. How do I know this? Because to my surprise when I went to press tip, as I often do, I was made aware that the owners don't allow them to partake in the tips that they work so hard for. The justified reasoning? Because they are paid so well that they don't need the tips. Money hungry owners that steal from their employees DESERVE a one star review. I personally prefer HYGGE in Lake St. Louis. We love trying healthy food places in the area. We tried a couple sandwiches, a couple bowls, and a couple smoothies. It all tasted good, however I felt the fruit on the bowl could've been a bit fresher. The tables in the seating area were all dirty, which was kind of a turn off and the whole store kinda of felt dirty. The employees were friendly and quick to get our food out. I went here several months ago and the wait was so long. I ordered my food on line to pick up as I was in a hurry. It said it would be 35 minutes for pickup which I thought was a long time for a smoothie bowl and juice. I waited the 35 minutes and went in to grab it and still wasn't ready! First time trying this place! I got a PB+A smoothie bowl. It is slightly pricey, but worker was kind when i asked for no strawberries and offered to add another fruit in replacement free of charge!
