The donuts are standard krispy kreme - fluffy, tasty, and very sweet. The couple times I've visited this location, the indoor appeared closed to the public so we went through the drive-thru. Even when not busy, the drive-thru is not that efficient/quick. Overall, a standard chain experience. read more

I'm very disappointed with the way I was treated and given the runaround by the Paramus store, I went inside to order a dozen Barbie donuts in the Barbie box before the 15th. The employee told me to order online before the 15th and pick them up there. I went online and it was not available. He had told me the boxes had not come in to come back tuesday I showed up again and they told me they had not come in and now it's too late, but I was following what they told me to do. It's my sister's 65th birthday and I tried multiple times to get the Paramus store to help me and they didn't and now I can't get the Barbie donuts or the box This is very disappointing and unprofessional. read more

We walked in just in time, 5 minutes later the line was out the door. Service was good. Donuts are also delicious. Coffee was decent. However, the donuts are way too small and the price of them is ridiculous! $16.08 for 6 donuts and a medium coffee, that's crazy. I went on Sunday 5/15/21. It was not busy at all. I went to the counter and tried to make my order. The person taking my order was not friendly and I could not understand a thing he was saying. I kept asking him to repeat himself. It was getting embarrassing. I ordered 1 1/2 dozen donuts plus an apple fritter. He kept mumbling about the apple fritter. I finally realized it was not included in the dozen and a half. No big deal..... Put it in the order anyway. I was charged $36 for that. I was not thinking and just gave my credit card and paid and left. I was so aggravated. Now thinking back How is 1 1/2 donuts plus one $36. The cashier never gave me a receipt either. I will not go back to this Krispy Kreme ever and may never visit any Krispy Kreme again. They were nothing special. Terrible experience!!!! read more

This is a great donut chain! They have an abundance of options, including many holiday specialties. The Paramus location has a ton of seating both indoors and outdoors. The line for the drive-thru is always quite long so I opted to go inside. I ordered a patriotic eagle donut and a strawberry lemonade chiller. This particular donut was a Fourth of July exclusive. It boasted blue icing and was adorned with a little eagle made out of sugar. Upon biting into the donut, I was treated to a taste of the decadent cookies and cream filling. It really was delicious! The strawberry lemonade chiller was just so sweet. Delicious by itself although likely not the best accompaniment to the donut and may have been better with a tad less syrup. The prices are a little high, approximately $16 for a dozen donuts. Overall, I highly recommend these delicious treats. read more

Came half hour to close. Front door was locked and employees just looked at me. We pulled into the drive thru and ordered an Assorted dozen. Instead of putting the order in how we ordered, it was put in as 11 of a kind and one solo. I don't know if they did that to make it easier or to cover the employee with the box of donuts that was in the parking lot. I had a receipt code for a free original glazed dozen and it was refused because I didn't have the receipt, (again i had a screenshot of the survey code.) Today while returning home in Orange County NY, my family was pleasantly surprised when we saw a Krispy Kreme located on RT4 in Paramus NJ. While inside we were so excited to see flavors we haven't seen before. Employee Dashaun (not sure of the spelling) was extremely polite and patient. When a particular donut was not available he offered suggestions. He asked me where I was from and I told him. There aren't any Krispy Kreme in my area. When we checked out he gave us a couple of complimentary donuts to try. I just want to compliment Dashaun in his very professional and friendly attitude. So I was in your location today 2/29 , you had leap year specials and as I waited a young woman and her daughter maybe 7 or 8 was there and it was the little girls birthday, she was born on leap year and as I understand it anyone born on 2/29 can get a box of free donuts with proof of 2/29 birth. My first visit was a huge disappointment with their "specialty doughnuts ", a shoe has a better taste. I guess my expectations were high given the crazy lines. The only doughnut there worth it is the Original Glaze. The employees there are on the dry side and aren't willing to help the customer. On my next visit I purchased a dozen doughnuts and asked if they could please divide them into 2 boxes that fit 6 instead of the one box for 12.. I offered to pay for the 2nd box. On March 17th (St. Patrick's Day), at around 6:00-6:30 in the morning, I went into the Krispy Kreme establishment located at 247 Rte 4 in Paramus New Jersey. I noticed they had hundreds of donuts that were dyed green which I thought was a great touch and ordered 4 dozen for my offices. When I ordered them I requested that 2 boxes be placed in each bag as I had to deliver them to separate locations. The cashier helping me stated "we don't do that". I then stated "I just saw you put boxes of donuts in bags so I don't understand". She then said that she would need to charge me. I then told her to please do so. She was definitely annoyed, rolled her eyes and huffed. After she charged me for the bags I asked, "these are the green ones right?". She then responded, "well you didn't ask for them so no." I only asked because 1, the boxes she had bagged up were different than the boxes that other customers were getting and 2, I wouldn't know to ask as there are "hundreds" of the donuts on the conveyer that were green. I told her that I wanted the green ones. She took the donuts back and was actually put off with the fact that I wanted the green ones and now it would be an inconvenience. My point to all of this is this....I frequent Krispy Kreme when I can and my team loves them so it is by far a great treat for them. What I will never tolerate is disrespect or anyone feeling like they can disrespect me. The personnel should be made aware that customers don't "only" purchase the donuts but also purchase the experience. If she was having a bad morning, then she needs to leave it at the door. If this is her normal demeanor, then Krispy Kreme should reconsider having her as anyone dealing with a customer representing the organization. read more

So let me start off by saying that I love Krispy Kreme for a long time, since I used to live in NC where they know hospitality and customer service and know that when that hot light is on its on until advertised time it goes off. So because of that I am soooo disappointed that we finally got two Krispy Kreme in our area this one in Paramus and East Rutherford and they've continuously have dropped the ball! So far I've been to the East Rutherford store twice. The first time was March of 2020, after being quarantined for weeks I thought i would take the kids and wife to Krispy Kreme. We got there and waited in drive up line for an HOUR AND A HALF ILL SAY THAT AGIAN AN HOUR AND A HALF, I know that sounds crazy, but that should tell you how much i think of a HOT OFF THE LINE Krispy Kreme doughnut. Ut when i finally get my dozen and pull away guess what not hot off the line! And in case you've never had it hot off the line its a whole different experience. If its not hot off the line you might as well go to any of your other doughnut shops because it'll be the same. We went during the advertised times on there official website as well. The second time months later i brought the whole fam again as I figured ok maybe because of the whole covid thing it was a one time slip. Guess what nope again I waited not as long this time a half hour got up to the board asked to make sure even though it was during hit light hours if it was on and was told no. I asked well why not? She just said oh they shut it off a half hour ago mind you this was 9:30 so they shut it off at 9 when it's supposed to be at there advertised time 10 and they had the light on outside. I also called before we went the second time just to doubly make sure but when you call a message come on saying this voice mail is full. What do you think a little bait and switch get the customer in snd then figure they'll still buy something? So here we are finally another one opens in Paramus, Fantastic! So I'm working today and my wife and kids called super excited saying we just passed by the Paramus Krispy Kreme and the hot light was on so were going to get a dozen for you and drop off at wrk. I as my children were super excited to get those delicious glazed doughnuts. But guess what, yup you guessed it hoy light time, hot light ON but nope no hot doughnuts the girl informed my wife that they shut the hot light down 10 min ago which would make it 9:30. But she must of forgot to shut the light off outside. First why are you shutting it down early and why are you so incompetent yo forget to shut the light off? Could it be you want that bait and switch again? I assume these are the same owners of the two franchises, because its hard to imagine that two different owners allow this incompetence and laziness. How do you open up a new franchise in a new area and totally crap on the Krispy Kreme name and history? Have you ever heard of first impression? Well yours SUCKS! You cant put on the website hot light 6am-10am and not shut off at 10am sharp its not a recommendation is it? You have people that get in the car get the family in the car to make a trip to get a special treat then get there and are told oh that website ehhh don't listen to that us here do things our way and FUCK THE CUSTOMER! I hope that people read this and choose not to support these two Krispy Kreme they don't deserve you loyalty and business. Shame on you East Rutherford and Paramus Krispy Kreme. I had gone to Krispy Kreme when they were having their buy a dozen get the second for $1 so I arrived bought my donuts and gave my credit card without wondering why I was being charged $37 for 2 dozen when the second box should only be $1. After paying is when I realized that makes absolutely no sense and asked the employee why I was charged so much money for what's actually $21 worth of donuts. Eventually I was given a receipt which I was not given to me in the first place and was told it will be refunded back to my card in 2-3 days. Thank god I got the receipt this time because it was never refunded to my card and a week later I had to call up the store and go back and forth with the manger (who needed the proof of receipt) as to why I had not received my refund back. In the end I had to go back to the store because they needed my card to refund the money. Why was that not done when I was there in the first place? I have no idea but the whole experience was such a hassle. Pay attention to what they are charging!! so you don't have to deal with this problem read more
