    Ghostbusters Specialty Collection
    Jeannette L.

After work on Wednesday, I stopped by after work to surprise my husband with the Ghostbuster Speciality Collection donuts. That morning, he showed me a picture of them on Reddit and I knew I had to stop by here. This was my first time - not only at the Paramus location - but at a Krispy Kreme ever. I've driven past it so many times on Rt. 4, but never gone in so I really wanted to check it out... I had a mixed experience :/ The shop is pretty spacious inside with lots of seating and right now they have great Halloween decorations up. Because this was my first time ordering at KK, I figured to go inside instead of drive-thru so I could see what they had available and ask questions about how I should order because wanted the four specialty donuts but didn't know what the box sizes were or how to price out things, etc. In short, I felt like the staffers would have preferred I did drive-thru and not go inside because I felt rushed and as if I were bothering them by being inside (and I swear one of them made fun of me or my order when he was boxing them). Towards the end of the transaction, one of the staffers was nicer to me, but I was already ready to get out the hell out of there. I felt awful when I left and I most likely will not be back. However, the Krispy Kreme specialty and fall donuts were really good and enjoyed by family and friends. They definitely are fresher buying from the KK store instead of at the supermarket.

My daughter was excited about her straight A's & see promotion on their Facebook for free doughnut in each A. The staff immediately laugh & say it's only for NY. The sad face on my kid. However I offer to purchase a dozen but give her a free one as a prize for encouragement and got rejected. This is horrible you use marketing to promote a good cause image but didn't honor it. What kind of company running scam like this?

Last Krispy Kreme I actually went into and sat and enjoy donuts was when I was in a regional overseeing Utah for a previous company...I was pleasantly surprised. Now if KK only served glazed donuts, they would own the market as their donuts own Dunkin's glazed. Upon trying the cheesecake donut it was a disappointment and the crème filling tasted lemony than desired. The chocolate crème was a toss up between Dunkin. Now some boutique donut shops near Cupertino would beat either but you are paying dearly for a donut. Glazed KK is still one of the better ones out there. Service is where KK throws the beat down on Dunkin...Tje Dunkin near Me has workers who look resentful and as a result I may take the extra effort to get better donuts, service and better seating. This is a pain since I am in the center of Paramus. The lady who helped me was cheerful and friendly and that goes a long way with me. Ambiance is cheerful and KK's this is "how we make it" approach works. It is inviting and fun. You can see the staff took effort to make KK fun for the people. It was cool in Utah and Cool here so if u want a pretty good glazed donut and Coffee, head down to Krispy Kreme.

They have the best Special donuts! I love the PAC-MAN donuts!!! I usually order ahead and pickup at the drive-thru, but I've been inside and it's really nice. It's clean and spacious. Staff is friendly and courteous. I love krispy kreme !

I actually like this location, it's quiet, organized, and they have a wonderful selection of donuts, the whole environment has a nice positive vibe...

Can't go wrong with a classic krispy kreme donut. And what a bonus to have enjoyed a free donut and coffee for National Coffee Day! We've been to this location a few times and the donuts are always fresh and delicious! Great staff to boot especially in the Amazon Fresh Paramus NJ instore Krispy Kreme location! They are the best!

Great service and this location is sparkly clean!! Plenty of seating and parking. Love the retro decor, it's like walking into a retro diner in the 60's.

Best donuts. Drive thru for your laziness. They are quick and nice. Clean place. Lots of donuts to choose from. Parking lot for all to park at.

Glad to have stopped by at my first local Krispy Kreme! I went on a Sunday afternoon so there was no line at the drive thru. Price: The prices at this location are slightly higher than other places. I had a small latte and 3 donuts for $10. I did think it was worth having every now and then though! Their Christmas themed donuts were very aesthetically pleasing. Quality: The donuts were fresh and the latte was also great. I will definitely be back, thank you!

The donuts are obviously good, and the customer service is decent. The front desk clerk provided average customer service, but made up for it when she gave me like 50 free Krispy Kreme hats! Fresh, off the conveyor belt donuts + pretty great coffee. There's also a drive-thru option!

Donuts are excellent; service at the drive through was efficient & they accepted a coupon that was issued for a prior discrepancy.

There's space to wait for your order too- so if it's cold or raining, there's room for you. They're open 7a-7p which is great. It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.

The matcha einspanner caught my eye, but unfortunately the flavors fell short for me. The barista making my drink appeared to be newer (another barista ended up taking over to finish the drink), and the drink itself tasted overly milky with not enough matcha flavor. Maybe it was the whipped cream, but it felt diluted overall. On the other hand, my husband's New Orleans iced coffee was good, and my friends enjoyed their other coffee drinks as well. Next time, I'll skip the matcha and just stick with coffee.

I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. Cross contamination is no issue for me, as I informed them, but I need to know if there are nuts actually inside as an ingredient. One person said only one item on their dessert menu contained nuts, and when I mentioned that many contained hazelnut they seemed surprised to learn that hazelnut is in fact a tree nut. Lo and behold, the chocolate dacquoise inside the Spring dessert contained nuts and I got an anaphylactic reaction as a result and needed to take my EpiPen. The bite I had was very yummy but almost took me out so I'll still keep two stars for the baking itself. However, staff NEEDS to know what contains very common and deadly allergens.
