    Neopolitan & Oatmeal Cream Pie
    Nicole M.

We came to the Cookie Connect in Ridgewood last night as part of Yelp's Summer of Sweets event! We made sure to get dinner nearby first and definitely saved room for dessert! For this experience we got to try the cookie of the week and the cookie of the month which was the Neopolitan and the Oatmeal Cream Pie. They warmed the cookies up for us and we immediately devoured them. Of course, we wanted more so we bought the PB&J and Stuffed Peanut Butter Cup to bring home! This has been one of my favorite Yelp events so far The location is small but there's a few tables to sit. While street parking is hard in Ridgewood there's a metered lot across the street.

Shoutout to the cookie connect for making our custom Yelp cookies and having my yelpie award for the 2023 year. The staff here are truly amazing and friendly. It's a very colorful and minimalistic furniture inside the store. Although I was here for an award I cannot wait to return and try all their cookies and dessert shakes. Parking is a little crazy in this part of Ridgewood but you just have to time it right.

Nice ambiance. I went on a Friday afternoon, and the place was pretty empty, but I could tell it would be a great spot for kids and teens. The cookies were fresh with a slight crunch--just how I like them. Not overly sweet, but definitely not healthy either. Service was okay; the girl helping me was nice enough. I'd go again.

Came in to pick up my 2023 Yelpie! Had a sweet and delicious Yelp themed cookie. Then ordered the Apple Pie, NY Cheesecake, Stuffed Nutella chocolate chip and PB n J. Going to share them at home! Shop is cute, staff is friendly and I'm so grateful for my award and vinyl disc, though I'm not sure what it is yet. Thanks Yelp North Jersey and Cookie Connect!!

ONLINE ORDER ONLY. They have cookies and ice cream bar. I got a box of 4: classic, apple pie, capn's berrys treasure and salted caramel pretzel. Nice decoration and very sweet. I have to break 1 cookies into 2 eating. And with tea. nice flavor. Def a fancy cookie to try.

If you love cookies that are soft and full of flavor, this is the place. Opened in 2019 and situated on Chestnut Street in Ridgewood, I came to The Cookie Connect right after opening this afternoon and had the entire store to myself to pick up my 2023 Yelpie award for being crowned'review updater of the year' (most review updates). This establishment specializes in large, chewy cookies and sugary, sweet ice cream creations. The dough is made on-site by hand and aged overnight. Each and every cookie is prepared fresh by hand. The fact that it's open late is the biggest bonus, just in case someone needs a late-night snack. Greeted by the staff, Amaya, upon entering, the cookies come in all different flavors; 12 are featured at a time, such as fruity pebbz, Nutella stuffed chocolate chip, coconut caramel, fluffatella s'mores, and cinnamon roll. I chose the Cookies 'N" Cream, the *New* Classic, Fluffatella S'Mores, Salted Caramel Pretzel, and the special Yelp cookie with color sprinkles. Thank you, Sara, and the Elite team.

The workers are very unwelcoming - they all stare at you awkwardly and the cashier is as bland as a robot. I felt very awkward being inside. The cookies are also not good? They're all differently flavors but they're all so so disgustingly sweet. All that hits you when you take is a bite is the overload of sugar. The inside of this place is also dark and gloomy with half the lights not working. walls and floors are dirty. I'm disgusted.

Saturday night walking around Ridgewood and we stumbled upon this place. Everyone loves cookies right? In we go. I really don't like to give negative or disparaging reviews but for cleanliness this place gets a big fat zero. It's filthy from the front to back. There is who knows what all over the walls and windows and truly looks like it hasn't been cleaned in forever. We wanted to sit but there wasn't a clean table or chair to use. As far as the cookies go they were just ok to me, average at best. Sorry but It is what it is. I call it like I see it.

This a pretty unique spot in Ridgewood. Different from the typical ice cream spots since cookies are their specialty and the base of the dessert. To break down the experience, I would give the quality of the cookies and ice cream itself 3 stars, staff 5 stars and ambiance 3 which balances my rating to a 4 star review. The staff member who helped my sister and I pick our dessert was very kind and knowledgeable. It really was outstanding customer service. The music and vibe of the place is just really cool and a fun place to be . This is a great place for all ages.

Interesting, large, warm and soft cookies that will satisfy your sugar fix Cookies are $3.25 each, slightly more for special flavors and there's a discount if you buy 4 or more. We got the s'mores (pretty design...the s'mores topping will run if you don't eat it Apple pie (very soft and "appley", Nutella (more expensive, very sweet so have a cup of milk handy!), and cookies and cream. The cookies are generally pretty complex, with various interesting ingredients. They also serve ice cream with different cereal toppings. The actual store is pretty sparse and bare looking. It was good to see that they had a healthy number of customers in the short time that we entered. Street parking is available.

I passed this cute store just off Ridgewood Ave, and the name alone had me sold. I am a huge cookie lover. The interior decor is a very cool, chic place. The young lady that took my order was very nice, she explained all the different yummy cookies. I like chocolate chip so that's what I ordered. The cookie was okay, it will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth cravings. This is definitely a sweet place for kids, and anyone that loves sweet treats.

Ordered 8 cookies. Birthday Cake and Fruity Pebbz cookies were supposed to come with vanilla icing. Yet raspberry drizzle was put on top totally ruining the cookies.. not sure why the alternative was used without asking or updating me. Had id known, i wouldnt have orderd thoes flavors. Not too happy with this round of cookies

They also have a chocolate shop next door. When I walked inside of the bakery, I felt transported to a pastry shop in France. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was super busy. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered a latte and a scone. The scone was very delicious and fresh. My boyfriend ordered a frozen hot chocolate and a chocolate éclair. I tried a bit of the éclair and we both agreed that it was the star of the show. I normally am not a big éclair person but this one was so chocolatey and rich. It was filled with this creamy, fresh chocolate filling. I strongly dislike the store bought cream filling that they are usually piped with. We sat at one of the little tables on the sidewalk outside since the weather was nice. I will be back if I am in the area and in the mood for a sweet treat!

Cross contamination is no issue for me, as I informed them, but I need to know if there are nuts actually inside as an ingredient. One person said only one item on their dessert menu contained nuts, and when I mentioned that many contained hazelnut they seemed surprised to learn that hazelnut is in fact a tree nut. Lo and behold, the chocolate dacquoise inside the Spring dessert contained nuts and I got an anaphylactic reaction as a result and needed to take my EpiPen. The bite I had was very yummy but almost took me out so I'll still keep two stars for the baking itself. However, staff NEEDS to know what contains very common and deadly allergens.

With such a large variety of cookies offered, the only difficulty I had was selecting six because I wanted to explore them all. As I opened the box, I was in awe as to how gigantic they truly were. Chocolate Chip: The original flavor has and will always be my personal favorite. As you can see, it is packed with dark chocolate chip morsels. Cookies N Cream Cheesecake: If you are looking for the perfect variation of a sugar cookie, you've found it. This highlight of this masterpiece is the shot of sweet cream cheese infused in its center. Confetti: This other version of the sugar cookie is loaded with sprinkles. It has a rainbow-like appearance. Rocky Road: This ice cream inspired cookie is loaded with marshmallows and chopped almonds. Think of it as a moist, warm version of the classic treat. S'mores: Why purchase marshmallow, graham cracker, and chocolate when all you need to do is buy this cookie? It is identical to the real deal and you will definitely want "s'more." Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter: If you are fan of peanut butter cups, you will admire this specialty cookie made with cocoa and packed with peanut butter chips. Be sure to turn the box on its side and follow the simple instructions about re-heating the cookies in the microwave or oven. Chip City specializes in baking cookies with a soft, gooey center. After drooling over photos online, I decided to treat myself one night. The store is located on a main street in Ridgewood, so it's street parking only. When I walked in, I couldn't get over how cute and bright the store was. To whoever is in charge of the marketing, design, and logos... kudos to you! A sweet employee (I think her name was Chrissy?) answered all my questions and helped me out. Since I came later in the evening, I was worried there wouldn't be too many cookies available, but I was wrong. There were plenty AND they were still fresh too! They offer classic flavors as well as seasonal and artisanal ones. So many unique and creative options! They also have mini ones and thin ones (with less calories). Flavors are rotated weekly and you can check the website for the line-up. Each cookie is $5.50, but trust me... they are dense, large, and can be shared with other people. I decided on the 3 Box Special ($14.50) and got... *Italian Rainbow - MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE ONE! It's a tri colored almond cookie filled with raspberry jam and topped with dark chocolate ganache. The almond paste was so rich and the sweet jam was the perfect touch. A MUST TRY! *Chocolate Chip - A yummy classic. How could you go wrong with a brown sugar cookie with dark chocolate chips? *Fluffernutter - The description made it sound better than it tasted, so this was my least favorite out of the three. It's a vanilla sugar cookie with peanut butter chips filled with marshmallow cream. The peanut butter overpowered everything else. I feel like this would work better with a chocolate cookie. What I love about these cookies is that they don't just taste like a giant blob of sugar. You can actually appreciate and distinguish between the different flavors and ingredients. If you like crispy/crunchy cookies, you probably won't be a fan. If you enjoy cookies with a slightly crunchy exterior, but a soft, ooey, gooey (almost raw-like) interior, Chip City is for you!
