Quality of the donuts is really good and I usually get them hot and fresh. But this location always has a line.. even during this pandemic there's a huge line. I got their limited edition lemon glaze with lemon kreme filled and it was pretty good. Although it did have a lot of cream and I wasn't much of a fan for that. But if you enjoy that then it'll definitely work for you :)! It has a nice zesty lemony taste and not overpowering at all and not overly sweet. I went to this Krispy Kreme and got attitude immediately from a worker for no reason. He had glasses and I believe his name was Brandon. What I said after politely greeting him was "can I please get a strawberry glaze donut.... And a chocolate glaze donut please." And he gave me a look for about 5 seconds without saying anything and had an annoyed face. And so I repeated myself and he responded with "strawberry glaze?" And I said "yes and a chocolate glaze please" and his response was "WELL HOW MANY STRAWBERRY GLAZE?" I was with my girlfriend and she was shocked as well for the random attitude. But then I continued ordering, ignored what happened, and politely asked since I was ordering a dozen, "how many more do I have left" and he gave me a serious look, and raised two fingers in front of my face. I understand people have bad days, and that can cause them to have to random attitudes like the one I experienced at this establishment, but I don't believe it was necessary especially since it happened as soon as I walked in. Smh where do I start.I live in Newport so it's a bit of a drive to get to orange but I haven't had Krispy Kreme's in awhile so let me give them another shot it's been awhile so I took the trip. 1st I don't get the right order ATALL I also had them read order back to me because 9 times out of 10 they get it wrong. 2. These donuts where old and stale the glaze was wet n sliding off the donut seriously look at that powder sugar that's gotta been sitting out for at least 2 days to do that big disappointment seeing that these are usually my favorite oh and it gets worse 3. Jelly donut's were mainly stale dough with a small dot of sticky jelly again sign that it was old. Came on National Doughnut Day. Would not recommend. I placed an online order for a 7:15am pick-up. When I arrived in store at 7:00am, I waited in the online-order pick-up line for over 2 hours before I was able to pick up my order. The people who came after me and ordered from the walk-in order line ended up ordering their donuts and leaving the store well before anyone else in the online pick-up line -- at least 30 mins before! Additionally, the people in the walk-in line were able to use multiple BOGO deals when placing their order, while the online orders were only able to use 1 BOGO deal for their orders. On top of all of this, the staff only offered free donuts to those standing in the walk-in line and not the online-order line. When I got to the front, I saw that there were 3 registers. 2 of the registers were prioritizing walk-in orders, while only 1 register was dedicated to online pick-ups. Not only that, but no one in the online pick-up line had their orders prepared for pick-up until they got to the register. Why have a pick-up time if you're not going to prepare the order ahead of time?! Staff were understandably stressed, but they were also rude and impatient with customers from both lines. This is our Go To for donuts... my kids LOVE them. This location is close to home and we come here often. Unfortunately, the last time we came, there was a guy who was sleeping at one of the tables as you walked in. The scene looked "off" so I was a bit on edge and told my hubs to keep the kids away from the tables.
