This is what they advertised their over the rainbow donut looked liked,..

Disappointed! I drove 27 minutes out of my way to pickup donuts for my daughter's birthday. She wanted the over the rainbow donut. I should have opened the box but for over $3 you would have thought they would have out the rainbow on the donut, I am extremely dissatisfied with what I have to give her in the morning. If you aren't going to put a rainbow on the donut don't advertise that it has a rainbow on it.

Been here twice now. Always seems to be busy here. It's a smaller location and the line can get quite long. Always someone holding up the line not knowing what they want lol. I dont like the coffee at all, probably the worst of all the donut places. Dunkin is 10 times better. They get all the donuts trucked in around 530. We got there at 550 for Valentine's Day and there was always a line for the special heart donuts. We went the day before and they sold out of most of them. They recommended we come in early the next day. It took about 10 mins to get in and out. It was complete Kaos that day. So one lady orders 24 boxes of Valentines donuts. No wonder they sell out. We just wanted 1 of each. Prices were around $3 something each one. They were as expected. My favorite was the chocolate ones. We will probably be back next Valentine's lol.

It's my Birthday today so I decided to come to redeem the free 3 donuts with a purchase of a drink. I waited in line like everyone else. Noeone really greeted me nor even tried to help me but instead this lady assumed I cut in line..She was rude about it and I think in costumer service it's wrong to assume and ask me that. I was already annoyed already cause why are you announcing it in the app to get free stuff and assumed I cut in line cause I didn't get any dozen donuts like everyone else? Literally brought a drink just to redeem it. Bad costumer service. Do better Krispy Kreme!!!!! im giving you $$ for your company !

Who doesn't like a Krispy Kreme doughnut. I can never pass one up. This place is always busy and the only thing I don't like is that a lot of the times they run out of doughnuts early , especially when there are specials going on. But the doughnuts are always really good, not always fresh since they don't make them there.

This location was extremely busy when we stopped in, as the was a free dozen glazed promotion going on. By the time we made it they were already sold out of glazed donuts. So my husband and I decided to try a couple of the limited time KitKat donuts. And I thought they were pretty good! My KitKat one had caramel sauce and brownie bits on it. Sadly most of the caramel was rubbed off on the packaging, but it was a nice donut. Even though the line was long and the staff were stressed, they were very professional, helpful, and fairly quick all things considered. I was very happy with the service here.

More 3.5 stars.... Hear me out... Who can turn down a Krispy Kreme donut? Not me and not my coworkers. Plus if your not a glazed person... they have other options. This locations keeps up to date with the seasonal items which is great! Here's where we lose some points... customer service. It's not hard to smile. Your not in a good mood, don't worry... just ask me what I need and I'll tell you. The one thing that gets me is when someone is being rude and rushing. Why not give me a chance? Anyways, it's not everyone who works there. The gentleman who rang me up was nice!

You cannot go wrong with a classic glazed donut from Krispy Kream! Although this location does not have the conveyer belt for the "fresh", it still gets the job done for a tasty donut! ***This location always has the promotional donuts available*** There are a lot of low reviews for this place with complaints of not having certain kinds of donuts but... it's out of their control. If you want a guaranteed flavor, your best bet is making the drive to the main location which is in Clairemont. Another complaint is customer service, which is unfortunate because all the times I've went (which is a lot), they've been really good and the line moves fast when it's out the door. I typically come when there's promotions and the promotions happen ALL THE TIME. The promotions typically include buy one dozen get one free or get the second dozen for $1 etc. Download the app, make an account and check the offers tab. The store is small, but has a few tables in case customers wanted to dine in, has a bathroom and plenty of parking spots!

The staff was genuinely friendly, and we were able to find a seat inside without too much trouble. We expected a bit of a wait given how busy it was, but the timing ended up being a bit off. Our food arrived first--we had the avocado toast and the mini green chilaquiles. Both dishes were delicious, though the chilaquiles verdes leaned a little heavy on the garlic. (Seriously--hours later, even after brushing, lunch, and multiple rounds of mouthwash, that garlic flavor was still going strong.) We took our time eating, hoping the drinks would arrive, but they didn't come out until much later. We ordered a cappuccino and an iced churro latte. The cappuccino finally came out right as we finished eating--it tasted good, just a bit lukewarm. About five minutes later, the iced churro latte was ready, so we ended up taking it to go. That one was actually really good. Overall, the food and drinks were solid, and the staff made a great impression. I'd definitely like to come back and give it another shot. I love supporting small, locally owned businesses, and with a little adjustment to the flow--like pausing mobile orders during peak times or dedicating a team specifically to them--this place could really elevate the experience.

Each cup is smooth, well-balanced, and never overpowering. My husband and I both love ube, and Cafe 86 is known for its variety of ube desserts. It was fairly quiet when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. Since we had already eaten lunch, we decided to stop by for dessert. The inside was pretty nice -- I especially liked the lighting, which gave the place an industrial vibe. There were couches and tables for seating, making it feel comfortable overall. We were greeted by a younger employee who could've been a bit more energetic and welcoming. The dessert case also looked a little sparse and underwhelming. My husband ordered the Ube Monster shake, and I got the ube cheesecake. The shake was pretty good, though not as creamy as I expected, and I wished the ube flavor was stronger. The ube cheesecake, on the other hand, was fluffy and not overly sweet, which I really liked. It also had a thick cookie crust that was delicious. Still, I would've loved a more pronounced ube flavor in that as well. I'm a huge ube fan, and when I make ube desserts at home, I usually add extra flavoring to really make it stand out. Overall, I'd come back again. Next time, I definitely want to try the flan!

Maybe I could have asked but what made it challenging was that the menu did not clearly show everything they had to offer or it was hard to decipher which price went with what item. The cooler was pretty good and it was part of their $3 drink specials. Keep in mind though, it was not advertised, I just happened to know because I almost did an online order and saw it. I plan to go back and try some more things but there really needs to be more transparency about the menu and the prices clearly displayed.

We parked and noticed nearly all the lights were off. The pastry cabinet was empty, the tables were taped off. But people were inside and customers were in line. Emotions and energy were low, it was quiet and dim vibes all around. We walk in and see just one man working the cashier and making the drinks. He looked puzzled, a bit lost. We get in line behind someone ordering 4+ drinks and see that this guy didn't really know how to make the drinks. He was misplacing the ingredients and wasn't fully confident operating the payment system. The back counter was cluttered with miscellaneous gadgets, appliances, and syrups. It took nearly 20 minutes for the customer in front of us to get from ordering to receiving their drinks and we just watched in slight awe. The guy was apologetic and upfront, he was trying his best in a bad situation. They made some small talk and hinted that they were closing due to supply chain disruptions in Hawaii. I feel for them and wish them well. The coffee itself was ok. Flavor was decent but somewhat unremarkable. They offer different caffeine levels, up to I think 400mg in a drink. I just got the 200mg coffee. Don't know if I just built a tolerance but I fell asleep right after. We did want a pastry but with the baked goods cabinet empty, we weren't sure what they had left to offer. There was a long sign listing everything sold out between the pastries and coffee flavors. Overall the experience was odd and left a slightly bitter emotional taste in my mouth. They've acknowledged that they weren't in the best condition at that point and I do feel unfair to judge them at their worst. If they turn it around, I'm opening to revisiting. But for now, I don't feel compelled to go out of my way for it.
