This has got to be one of our favorite locations, nothing like a delicious ice cream cone or sundae after our walk around the Bonita 3.5 mile trail! The ice cream is always delicious & the staff is always courteous and friendly (most), but at least they are courteous. And they give our Military their Military Discount. Great location and great service! Gentleman behind the counter assisted us right away and was patient with us while we took our time to explore the many flavors! He gave us few samples to try. Sometimes the coolest thing about being an adult is making the decision to have ice cream for dinner. Yep. I love ice cream for dinner. When it's hot as a motherf'er, I love ice cream for dinner, even more. It's more a guilty pleasure, when it's ice cream for dinner and a party of one. A single adult scoop can be big or small. Kinda depends on who is scooping the ice cream. It's pretty inconsistent. It's also one of my gripes about any BR. The only flavor ice cream I order is pralines and cream, which I've been ordering since I was a kid in the 80s. Yep, I'm that old. My favorite ice cream flavor either goes in a cake cone or in a sundae with butterscotch, whip cream, nuts and cherry on top. If I'm really hungry, it's the Banana Royal. Bananas make it healthy, right? Downsides to coming here is that the lines for ice cream can be long. It's even worse when there's indecisive customers asking a million questions and want to try all the flavors. If it's usually that busy, all the tables are taken and the place gets pretty gross, with ice cream dripped/spilled/dropped all over the place. But, that doesn't stop me from enjoying my own treat, even if it's inside the quiet comfort of my own car. Growing up, Baskin-Robbins was always that special occasion treat with the fam. It's probably why I still drop by BR, when there are cheaper (Rite Aid) or better quality mom 'n pop (Neiderfrank's) shops out there. We showed up 40 minutes before closing. An employee saw us pull up in the parking lot and came out to ask if we were coming in. We said yes and she went back inside and closed the door. We walked in and I started to ask for a banana split but she cut me off to say they stopped making shakes. I asked what time they stopped making them and she said 9:15 (5 minutes earlier). Another employee started putting covers over the ice cream so we couldn't see them to order, basically closing up shop while we're trying to order. He removed the covers when the first employee gave him a disapproving look. I could not have felt less welcome. I had been looking forward to ice cream. My family prefers Coldstone but I finally got my daughter to agree to come here with me. I ended up not getting anything and I will never go back there again. read more

We do frequent this location since its close to our house. The associates that work here are extra friendly and have outstanding customer service skills. They are generous with the scoops which my kids love. Parking is mediocre. But the ice cream exceptionally. Pecan Praline, mint & chip, cookie dough, rainbow sherbet plus Mom's cookies are our ice cream favorites.
