The location is so cute and the staff really takes their their time so your treat is beautiful an delicious The cheesecake yogurt was delicious we were so surprised and the toppings selection was excellent All the fruit we saw was fresh. They really take pride. The small yogurt was still a very generous portion with 3 toppings included - you will not find a better deal
Although the marquee sign says 'Frozen Yogurt,' Yummy Spoon is a Mexican dessert parlor that happens to offer fro-yo as part of its offerings. The suite was quite small with only one inside table and a countertop with two stools for seating. Some customers were seated at an outside table enjoying their treats when I arrived after a long drive to this Chula Vista strip mall. There were six frozen yogurt machines behind the service counter. Instead of self-service and paying by the ounce, the staff would dispense the soft serve product in small, medium, or large size cups. It was such a minor part of the menu screens though that I focused on other areas. Four floats were available, and I picked the Root Beer flavor for a drink. A can of A&W Root Beer was provided along with a cup containing a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was a bit pricey at $5.99, but the taste reminded me of childhood experiences. I also chose the Frozen Grapes for a dessert because I had not seen such an item before. Several frozen globe grapes were placed inside a cardboard cup along with mini gummy bears. Chamoy and miguelito powder were sprinkled on top of the mix. It was an unusual sweet and spicy combination, but the frozen fruit worked as it provided bursts of sweetness to counteract the spices. The gummy bears added a chewy texture to the concoction. The shop seemed to be run by a local couple. They would disappear for periods at a time in the back kitchen to prepare items. You will have to be patient if there are orders ahead of you. I gave a four star rating mainly because of the unique variety of savory and sweet choices on the menu at Yummy Spoon.
We came 1 hr before they closed. They are out of the corn which I have to come back and try. We tried the Vietnamese coffee and matcha frozen yogurt. I was surprised at how good it is!! You can taste the matcha. The place is so cute and the offer so many yummy snacks. They have tostilocos, frozen yogurt, hwachae, and more things. If you got the munchies, you know where to go. Customer service is amazing!! They are so nice and sweet!! Will definitely come back to try more things.
I was looking for a mango sago. It was OK. Not the best really nice friendly place. Haven't tried the rest of the food. Might come back to try something new a little small but cute.
$6.50 for a "small" frozen yogurt with 3 toppings. GENEROUS serving. The yogurt was smooth and tasty. Toppings were good. I got Vietnamese coffee with brownie and 2x mochi. I could barely finish (but I did!!) My son got no sugar added strawberry and it was also good. Cute place. Good parking.
Dropped by here after a visit to the nearby CVS and it was a nice visit. A pretty unique menu with a lot of things to try, with a friendly and quick staff. Small shop inside, so most seating is available outside. Ended up getting a small-sized banana cream froyo which was a lot for the serving (keep in mind to order a mini next time) which was flavorful, but not quite the consistency I liked. Glad to have tried it, and look forward to maybe trying hwachae next time since I've heard about it but never tried it.

I was craving for some Dubai Chocolate and as I was searching for places that sell desserts of that flavor, Yummy Soon was the closest to my area. The interior was nice, I like the flower decor along with the cute little gummy bear stand on the counter. The cashier was quick to service, bringing out my order less than 8 minutes. The Dubai Strawberries itself was alright, I wish the kataifi was much more crunchier. If you're more into froyos and of that sort, then this is your place as it's more of their speciality.

I had the Banana Creme Pie with walnuts and Reese's Cups. They put the toppings in the middle of the yogurt and then add more frozen yogurt on top which I loved! Would definitely recommend for a quick treat!
The staff are very friendly here! The peanut butter acai was super good and would get it again. I highly recommend coming by and getting a sweet treat with all the options they have on the menu.

The classic Açaí bowl was good. Service was very fast once order was placed. I usually like to stick to organic products but this place didn't list that anything was organic. It was hard to communicate that I have a food allergy. I am very thankful to the man from the back who came out to speak to me then brought me my food as all seating outside was taken. This place was clean and had many items to choose from. I wish they had coconut and almond butter for my bowl but it's not a acai place it's a frozen yogurt store. read more

Saw it on tiktok..got told to come by a family member after they tried it and so I had to make my way down and try it myself We order a handful of things..and everything and I truly mean everything we got was spot on delicious. The staff, especially the lady at the front was so kind, offered suggestions on the items and was patient that we were trying to figure out what to choose and had a big smile and welcoming energy the entire time. The pineapple frozen yogurt tasted like dole whip and was perfectly tart; the taro flavor was spot on. The açai was filled and packed with banana and strawberries and the actual açai was fresh and very good. Truly cannot suggest this place enough! The service, quality of food/taste of it all. Can't wait to go back and try more things on their menu! read more

This place is nicely lit and organized, air conditioned, and has a few spots to sit inside and two tables outside. It's not self serve but at least you don't have to worry about germs! I got horchata strawberry and vanilla bean with brownies. Small cup with 3 toppings is $6.50 and it's a very generous portion! How nice to have a yogurt spot that isn't in Eastlake read more
