I ordered 4 original glaze, 2 cinnamon sugar cakes, 2 glazed cakes, 2 cinnamon sugar and 2 apple fritters. I did not receive any cake donuts or apple fritters. This store tried to disguise the cake donuts and apple fritters to make me think they were in fact the donuts that I ordered. Complete FRAUD. I called them a few times and they never once answered the phone, therefore, I left a message and neither did they call me back. You would think the manager would call me back at least. This new management sucks big time. I ended up calling corporate who offered me one dozen free donuts but honestly, that ain't enough! I stopped in today to get their strawberry glazed donuts - if you haven't tried them, you must! I went with a half dozen and chose 3 original and 3 strawberry glazed. The drive thru was blocked off this time around, so I did go in to the store; not a bad thing. The place looked clean and smelled wonderful. The area where they keep the napkins and straws was clean and well kept. The team seems to be made up of teenagers and young adults. They aren't very engaging, but also not off putting. The young lady that tended to me spoke maybe 4 words in the short time I was there. I'm very chatty and was hoping for more, but again not a deal breaker. Very disappointing experience. I visited Krispy Kreme today, and I honestly expected much better customer service. From the moment we walked in, the guy who attended us gave us a rude, unfriendly look, as if he was already annoyed that we were there. His attitude felt very dismissive and unwelcoming, almost like he couldn't wait for us to leave. That's not how customers should be treated. It was extremely uncomfortable, and I truly believe someone with that kind of behavior shouldn't be working in customer service. This was my first and last time at this location. Terrible experience. Friendly staff . Shockingly this location is not as busy . I'm not sure if it's just because it's in Bakersfield . I'm so use to LA the lines wrapping around the store but I'm not complaining haha love that it's slower here . Donuts are always delicious and we love it when we get their mail coupons . I came to get two dozen original glazed at 6:45AM for my students and they told me they don't have any available at the moment. They've been opened since 5AM. It's very disappointing because original glazed is their whole thing. I had to leave since I have to get to work and won't have the donuts I needed. It is always some inconvenience or issue whether it's a random Wednesday or a holiday-- it doesn't matter. I've visited this location about a half a dozen times. I know KK is bad for me, and I try to be good, but every once in a while temptation takes over and I stop in. I've only used the drive through which can be a bit of a gamble unless you want to open the box in the car which can be a bit tricky. My order thank goodness has always been correct. The drinks(iced coffee) are down right gross. That's when ordering something a second time didn't work out in my favor. Customer service is basic- take your order, take your money, give you your donuts. Half a dozen glazed and a seasonal/specialty donut is my usual order. At 6 AM, I ordered 60 donut holes to be picked up at 7:15 AM. I arrived at the store at 7:30. My mobile order wasn't at the pick up stand. I asked an employe, tall guy with dark hair. He had a headset on, called his manager and then replied, "Oh, my manager cancelled that order because we don't have donut holes right now. Sorry." I just stood there because I honestly didn't know what to say. A simple courtesy call by one of the employees letting me know it was cancelled would have made a huge difference. This is basic customer service 101. I've had other small customer service issues before, but this one was unbelievably inconvenient. I will not purchase from this store again. The guy said he tried to run it and it's not working but when we looked it up on the website said that the money was on the card. We walked in and place looked like it's going out of business. 3 team members working, no one greeted us when approaching the counter, place looked dirty AND the doughnut selection was POOR.
