I'm surprised the reviews for this place are so low. I bought my first new car here about 8 years ago and my parents always work with Karl Easley to purchase their cars as well. My sister and her husband are both engineers for Ford so we always drive them and this is our location of choice in the city. Recently my check engine light came on and my car was overheating. When I brought it in, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and they were able to fix the issue in only a few days. They even helped me out with a coupon. My review of Krieger Ford. In the beginning of the puchase all things went really smooth with (Shannon) the car salesman until it wasn't. These last 30 days of the purchase has been one cost after the next. The week after purchase tried getting the car back in due to codes coming up and oil leaking on top of the engine. I tried reaching out to Shannon with no response. Called service to get an appointment, we'll needless to say that didn't go well either. The person who initially took the call for the appointment, actually hadn't made the appointment. I called back and spoke to Luke, he said to me I needed to speak to the sales person due to i had just purchased the vehicle. I explained to Luke I had been trying to reach Shannon to no avail. Per Luke, "leave him a message" I did no response from Shannon. ​So after all the back and forth with needing to tent a car, Dottie called me with a date to drop off and pick up for service and rental November 10th 2025. My service appt was Nov 17th, 2025. So during the diagnostic the car needed a brake vaccum pump, coils in cylinder,stabilizer links,wkement gasket, rear brakes. After getting the vehicle back on Nov 19 2025, the car broke down Nov 22nd 2025 with a coolant leak, transmission issues altogether after spending 1200 at Krieger Ford with diagnostic another 4500 elsewhere due horrible service. I honestly feel like I have purchased a vehicle from a buy here pay here. At a buy here pay here I could possibly drive at least 6 months AS IS before dumping 5000 dollars in. I'm very frustrated. Made an appointment to get my brakes fixed. When I got to the ford place there were 13 cars in line. I went in bc I had an 8am appointment n the guy told me my appointment didn't matter, to get in line bc they were first come first serve n he was one person. Apparently having an appointment means nothing. Left n went to another dealership up the road that had an open appointment available online (Toyota). When I walked in they asked if I had an appointment, explained what happened at the ford dealership. They said that makes no sense what's the point of making an appointment then? The gentleman named Mike took my car immediately to the back. This Ford dealership is backwards. I'm a long time customer n have never been treated that way. I called about getting my drivers side mirror fixed and they told me it was discontinued. They said I could either go to a salvage yard and find a mirror or I could put on a mismatched mirror with no sensors that was just a mirror. I took my car to another body shop and they ordered a mirror and had it installed in one day. Would not recommend this place. read more

Never use Krieger Ford I recently took my older 1994 Ford E350 Box Van with a 7.3L IDI diesel motor in for an emergency situation during below freezing weather from another diesel hating mechanic's shop. I mistakenly choose to use a Ford Dealership thinking they would know how to work on this type of diesel even though the labor rate of $175/hr is ridiculously high IMO. I knew there was only an hour of work to do by removing the manual fuel then installing a block out plate. The only other thing to do was fix my error of using 3/8" rubber fuel line rather than 5/16". The original service employee claimed I would need special parts fabricated so it might be 1 to 2 months. He was in a hurry to leave and had me sign a piece of paper because he didn't want to do the paperwork which I did eventually. I talked to Bill (good guy) in service later and he said it would be a week or 2 actually. Luke (a nightmare) from service called claiming that the technician claimed it would take 3 hours to do it. I told him that was ridiculous because I took less time replacing the manual fuel and then installing an electric one on it already myself. I called him back and feeling stuck ($200 tow) I reluctantly agreed unwisely. By pure chance, I had to have the same exact $175/hr technician take out the loop he put in the hose (pic attached) when he fixed it without him or myself realizing it probably had air in that loop. I had to return the box van because they did not bother to change one of the two pieces of hose and it had air in the system. It still ran poorly once at highway speed on the way home so I ended up correctly bleeding the injectors again to get it to run normal finally. Here is the Fraudulent Part, I asked that same technician how long it took him and he said "just about 2 hours" which was slower than me not getting $175/hr but still an hour faster than they what they charged me! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE Folks!!! read more

I've purchased 3 new vehicles from Kreiger Ford over the past 4 years. In the past I've had no issues. Now, I've had three occurrences over the past six months with their service department that have been terrible! Today I dropped my car off for " the works" which is basically a tune up that should take an hour or two. I dropped it off at about 10:30am. At 5:00pm having not heard anything I called only to be informed that we never got to it! Very nonchalant oh yeah, we didn't get to it. Not being one to take it with a smile, I enlisted my sales representative and his boss. They are going to fix this one to my satisfaction at no charge. However, they wouldn't have done anything if I hadn't invested additional time of my own to make them do it! Just be warned. The service department at Kreiger has changed dramatically in the past couple years so be ready for a run around! read more

I am so disapointed in this dealership and the used car manager Dustin. I have never meet someone so arrogant and rude that lacks basic sales skills. I came in for the second time to look at a truck on the lot so obviously I'm interested. I told Dustin about an experience I had with the dealership a few years ago that drove me to take my business else where. The last two New vehicles I purchased were from Richard and he tells me how he used to work there. He then tells me he has been at Krieger for two weeks but has sold most of the trucks on the lot since then. LOL dude have you looked out your front window? You have two rows of used trucks and some more over by service. He the proceeds to ask what I want for my trade. I respond with as much as I can get. He doesn't make me an offer he just says well I'm thinking BLANK and I know your not going to take that so have a good night" Really that's how you sell your vehicles? No I'm not going to take it we both know that. but why dismiss me your job is to sell cars Krieger must have hired you for your crystal ball. You asked If I test drove the truck Saturday when I was in there and I told no I hadn't that I was looking forward to driving it tonight. Instead of saying something like I really don't think I can get you more on your trade but let me take a better look while you take the truck on a test drive, you dismissed me. You never know I might have fallen in love with the truck and had to have. Instead your approach was have a good night. You should know the first rule of sales is never judge someone. It's poor leadership like yours that drives company out of business. The really sad part is I had planned to purchase the truck with or without the trade. I even told I brought a cash down payment. but I never got a chance too and that and Dustin it's because of you. The real victim here is Jared the sales man I was dealing with. You owe him lost wages. Krieger you should know Jared was attentive and professional both interactions I had with him. I took my '15 Fusion to Krieger Ford as heater blower motor stopped working correctly, as sometimes it worked and after a while it stops on its own. I explained to the service manager exactly what was going on with it, and they took it in right away. I sat for 3 hours in the waiting area, and the service rep came out to inform me that since I have aftermarket audio instead of factory stereo, they couldn't fix it because they would have to reinstall all factory stereo equipment just to run a "diagnostic test" and it would cost over $1100.00+ in order to do the diagnostic test, not counting the cost of the "test". My service charge for this non-fix was almost $300.00(wasted) and left with same issue I came in for. I went home and got online and entered in a search engine " blower motor, '15 Fusion", and got two pages of information on this "very well known issue" only to find out it is not just a Ford thing. Many other car manufacturers has the very same problem as most use the very same parts. Also found a video by a certified Ford mechanic on how to repair it. I watched the ten minute video and was so sorry I wasted my time and money at Kreiger for nothing. I went to NAPA and got a new blower motor and relay(that sits right next to blower) and within less than an hour had both replaced, and after a month +, still working just fine. Total cost for MY repair, $185, and I DIDN"T NEED a "diagnostic test" and the inflated cost for it. read more

They didn't tell me they was going to charge me to look at my car but then afterwards they charge me to look at my car. WORST DEALERSHIP, WORST SERVICE EVER They charged me ridiculous amount of money for the issue they were not able to address and tried to charge me even more. Also, they did not inform or provide me of the approximate quote prior to continuing with any service. On top of all that, during all 3 times I had to go there to drop off my car so they can try to do NOTHING, the condition of my car when I got it back was a DISASTER, TERRIBLE. The first time, they did not put the floor mat back in my car and did not even remember where they put it. Second time, the components and fabrics of my trunk was just left there without properly assembled back to how it was supposed to be. And finally, on third time, they told me that they had put lube on the metal part of my back seat and when I opened the seat, the lube was just dumped and smeared all over. The photos attached show how they applied lube to the metal in my car. I would NEVER RECOMMEND and DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY to this dealership. I bought used from Krieger, bad move. They did a ring and pinion job on this truck before placing it out for sale. The pinion nut backed off... before I even got to the first scheduled oil change. I was traveling from Georgia to Texas to start my new job. The truck was "as-is" so I get it that I'm stuck paying for tow bill, repair bill, hotels, airfare to go get my truck later. I had to buy an additional truck to keep my new job as I must have a truck for work. Buying used does not pay off. I asked Kreiger to pay for 100% of this since I couldn't figure out how the pinion nut backing off was my fault. They offered to pay 15% of this disaster. I copied all of the Kreiger family members that own that dealership, none of them said a word to me. I thought that surely if the owners knew what was happening that they would understand and help. I was mistaken. Apparently if you buy a vehicle from Kreiger that recently had a ring and pinion job, it is your responsibility to check that the parts were installed correctly and that the parts were of sound quality and design and the proper torque and installation procedures were followed. Very disappointed in the entire experience here with the service department. Would not recommend to anyone. Long, expensive repair that takes about 2 hours to complete. Communication is an issue not only between the service center and the customer, but between the employees within, clearly. To keep things simple, here is a breakdown of issues. · Day 1: Called and spoke to Nina (very nice) and checked to see if they would be able to work on my vehicle. She advised yes, that the person who does the type of work I need works late, so maybe he will be able to look at it that night, if not, in the morning. She advised to have the tow truck driver leave everything with her, she has my information. I advised her I needed an alternator. · Day 2: The next morning, I did not hear anything, so I called the service center. I was told I needed to leave a message, in which I did. I did not get a call back, so I placed another call. I eventually get a call back from Bill, who advises me they have been wondering whose vehicle it was. I advised Nina was supposed to have my information, to which he replies that they can't read minds to know that. He advises they will get to it as soon as possible. We discusses the issues with the vehicle and I advised I needed an alternator. · Day 3: I don't hear anything the next day, I wait until late afternoon and place a call to check the status. Bill advises me they have not looked at my vehicle and he does not know when they would get to it. I advise that I am paying for a rental car which is an added expense to what they are going to charge me. By the way, $120 to "confirm" the issue. Bill explains they are busy and "can't even keep up with appointments, let alone tow ins". · Day 4: I finally get a call, "you were right, it's your alternator" with a quote of $1,100. I advise fine, it has to be done! I am told they will order the part now, it should arrive in 3-4 days. I am frustrated. I told you what was wrong. The part should have been ordered. You are a Ford dealership with service. Even if I did not obtain services from you, you would be able to use it for another customer or return it. It is not like this is a Mom & Pop shop that would not know when they would use it again or not be able to afford to buy it up front. · Day 7: I did not call or follow up on day 6, as this was the earliest day they thought they may receive the part. I wait until later day 7 to check in. I was told the vehicle is ready. I am glad, but shocked as I did not receive a call. I am rushing to get there as fast as I can before they close. I get another call explaining there was a mistake. The vehicle is not done. I confirm the part has been received and "hopefully" it'll get done tomorrow. · Day 8: I do not hear from anyone. Again, wait until later in the day to check in to allow all day for it to be worked on. I am told they will have Bill call me in the morning to update me. · Day 9: Of course, I do not hear from anyone. I wait until early afternoon to check in. I am told that they are very hopeful to get the vehicle in and finished today. A few hours before closing, I get the call it is finished! FINALLY! I get to the service center to pay. Would you be surprised if I told you it was $100 over the quoted price? The "$1,100" was even circled. I was told it was for shop fees and things. Check out this cool notice that says they can charge up to 10% over the quoted price without further authorization. I go and advise I need my car pulled around out of the fence, I would be back to get my vehicle after I drop off the rental. I wait about 20 minutes and I check to see what is taking so long. It has been pulled around, they set the key down on some service advisors desk instead of giving it to me or calling my name or anything else. I was sitting right there waiting. To recap, took 9 days, $100 over the quoted price to switch out an alternator. I would definitely recommend going to a dealership with Quicklane, which might be able to get you in quicker, or, not buy a Ford at all! read more

I hate leaving these but it's part of being a yelper. First the service was horrible. I stood at a counter for 20 minutes. Well maybe the bill was 15 minutes but it seemed like an hour before anybody said anything to me and at that time no one still never said anything to me. I just looked around and saw somebody with a badge and went to them and asked them if they could help me. At that point I went to the wrong person. They told me I had to go to the cashier She pointed to a sign that said cashier and told me to follow the sign. I went to the sign follow the sign wind up going towards the bathroom so I turned around. Walked back out. Saw the sign and realize it was very confusing so I looked around. Looked around and tried to find where a lot of people were congregating and I just went to the crowd. That's how I found the cashier. I went to the cashier to pay. She hands me the keys and says I have your paperwork. Take your keys to the customer service desk and they will bring your vehicle around. I said great so I started walking. She says wait. I have your paperwork and I then I said am I to take the paperwork or are you sending it over there? She says no. You're going to take it. I said okay In my head. I was thinking you just told me you had your paperwork. You didn't tell me to wait for the paperwork so I then go to the customer service desk after I found my way there went to a lady she says okay I'll get your car. I give her the keys I stand there for about 10 minutes. Another lady came by and said so you don't you don't wait right here You go outside and wait. Or you can go in the indoor waiting area and then when they see you you can go out and get your car. I said thank you. This is the kind of service that it was. I felt like I was at a grocery store going through a self-check line with no signs. This is supposed to be a dealership. Usually when you take your vehicle to a dealership you get top knot service. You get it washed. When you pick it up You get a cup of coffee, a donut tea and crumpets You get something. All I got was a headache and no I would never go there again for any reason and I don't like saying never but I'm telling you I would never go there. I only gave him a two star because the place was clean and they were open when they said they were going to be open and I just gave them two stars for that. Bought my car here. Salesman had no smiles to give and did not want to talk about anything. Did not tell me any info on the car and was rude. I was told to bring it in for my oil changes and scheduled one and they weren't expecting me, after waiting in line for nearly 45 minutes they said they can't service a Volkswagen and that I would have to go somewhere else. Do not use this dealership unless you are willing to finance through them (more profit for them). I was dealing with a sales rep for the past few days on a used F-150. I went through the process of detailing my trade-in, getting my loan approved, moving money around, working through my insurance company, etc but they decided to sell to someone else minutes before my loan approval because they decided to finance through the dealership. The customer experience was poor at best. The sales rep disappeared at times and wouldn't reply, which lead to the delay. Strongly suggest against doing business with this place. read more

Had an appointment at 10am. Nina said my car would be done by 4pm. I get there a 4 she said they didn't even start and then laughed about it. I let management know and they said they have had issues with her before. They offered me a rental if I rescheduled but I don't want to be anywhere near that associate. The guy behind me told me he had to get his sunroof fixed for the 3rd time and he had to call corporate on them before. I will never go here again. My whole day was wasted because they did not want to fix the recalls on my car. Follow up: So one of the recalls on my vehicle was the brake function system. I attached the carfax below but it says that there is an increase risk of crash because of the brake system. This is exactly what happened because my recalls were not fixed as they were supposed to be 3 days later. I only had the car for a month. I ended up getting in an accident and totaling my car. I called Rusty the service director as instructed. I ended up in the hospital and I called that day but they told me rusty was not in. I called the next day and they don't pick up the phone and the 2nd time I call they hang it up because they recognized my number. So I had the call from a different number to be able to speak to rusty. So rusty had been on vacation so he did not know exactly what happened that week. I tried to explain exactly what happened and he saw that I had to call from a different number and I had been calling multiple times. I understand that he was not there and he didn't know what happened but when I tried to explain what actually happened while he was gone he did not believe me. This situation could have been a 100% preventable because there is no explanation as to why they did not fix my recalls. They were also supposed to fix the passenger air bags but thank God they did deploy in the crash. If the car had not stopped in the bushes I would have ran into the restaurant and killed those people in the restaurant because I lost control of the car. My mother was also in the car with me and I also got a citation for driving an unsafe vehicle. I thought about committing suicide the other day Not only because I'm out of a car and out of work but because of the apathy of the dealership and Ford motor company. The guilt I felt having almost killed my mom. The car caught fire and my mom was trapped in the car lucky a lady helped us get out. We are both traumatized from this. I will never get it out of my mind it replays in head over and over. I ended up hitting a woman in front of me and her car is totaled too. Now I have to see a therapist. I called Ford motor company and they did not offer any help or rental or any compensation they asked me "What do you want Ford to do?" In a rude way. This is after I explained to them I almost died because the dealership did not want to fix my brakes. I never want to drive a ford car again. Now my anxiety is through the roof and I am afraid to get behind the wheel again. I may not have died physically but I'm dead inside. I almost lost my life and killed someone else and Ford is going to sweep me under the rug when I tried to get issue fixed and noone would help me from the beginning and even now. read more

My 16 year old needed a car. I was sooo sick and tired of driving his butt to and from work and to all his "play dates" with his friends (you know..basketball, football, gym sessions, etc). I saw a Ford Focus on their site and thought it'd be the perfect car. My husband and I go up to drive the car. When we get there, we are told someone is looking at it right now but is having a hard time making up their mind. No biggie, I'll wait. So they decide not to take the car so my husband and I test drive it. We like it EXCEPT for it feels like the sway bars need replaced because every time we'd go over a bump the back end would shift and make noise. The manager rode in the car with my husband and agreed it needed fixed. It's fixed by the next day so we go up to complete the loan paperwork and this is where the issues start. My bank won't cover the amount they are trying to charge for the car. They said it's not worth what they are charging. Instead of lowering the price of the car they ask me to put the difference down.....uhhhh ok. Yeah! I love over paying for vehicles. How bout you lower the price so the bank will cover the loan. They did eventually find a bank that would cover the amount of the full loan, but I declined. #1, it's obvious the car is not worth what you are trying to charge and #2 the bank wanted to charge me 15% and that is an insult to my credit score. I am a mechanic at a local shop. My fathers 2016 f-150 started giving him problems so I had it towed to my shop. After a week oh looking at this checking that replacing this or that I had to call in help. Not Krieger yet but another guy I knew. Any ways he ended up finding some bad wires which I repaired. There was still an issue and after checking a wire coming from the computer I determined the truck needed a composer. Truck had 67000 miles on it And I heard the emissions warranty cover the computer until 80,000 So off to Krieger it went. Talked to Rick in service and he told us that if I It was the computer there would be no charge but if it was something else then be a fee to look at it. They replaced the computer and told us it also needed the app. Charged a fee. We towed truck back to shop I replaced the app. Gave it back to pops. FF three days later he pulled in to the shop truck doing the same thing. I start looking at it find same test of wire from computer. Bad computer! (Or so I think) tow back to Krieger delt with Rick again. He had the tech Josh call me and I told him what I knew. Josh was about to leave. Next day Josh found the culprit. A bunch of bad wires by the core support. Rick told me he had 4 hours in the truck. (I believe it I had 10) And only charged us one! Josh seemed very knowledgeable and Rick kept us in the loop. I was treated like an idiot after I asked what the price is and what kind of oil they used & the advisor was raising his voice at me then abruptly hung up. At first I thought they were super busy but turns out they were in fact not. I even pulled the service manager aside and told him what had occurred. Just came from one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had I wish I could give it has zero. We went to Krieger Ford to have the recall done and was hoping that we found a new Ford dealership that was a little bit closer to home then Germaine Everyone was rude there and I mean totally rude from the beginning to the end. When my car was finally done I was told just to go out into the lot and it'll be there while there are lots all the way around the dealership. And my friend that I have with me has asthma and pulmonary disease and here we are walking around this whole lot trying to find my car no one seem to know where it was. And finally we asked a few guys that work there and no one seem to act like they care where it was. And it was just the worst place I have ever been in for a dealership and I've had many many vehicles. I will never set foot on that lot again it is just horrible read more

I have been with Krieger for many years but no more. I would like to start off with one positive. My salesman Kevin H is amazing. He really cares about his customers and is a great steward for Krieger. The major downfall of this company is the service department. I had two recalls on my Expedition. One was the brake master cylinder, which they replaced ( maybe) the second was the blower. After waiting for months I get a call to come in for the blower replacement. I make the appointment. The next day I decided I wanted to have my tires rotated and balanced when I came in. I called to add this service and got a different service person. I explained I had an appointment to get my blower replaced and wanted to add the tires serviced also. He was very puzzled and informed me they don't have the blower replacements in and will not until possibly November. I explained they called me. He put me on hold... came back and restated they don't have the part. So in essence they were going to remove one recalled part and replace it with the same recalled part!! I would never have been the wiser. Also on a previous Explorer the paint on the hood had a reaction to the metal. I took the car in and they said they would repaint it. Turns out they didn't but actually replaced it with another hood. Maybe from a wrecked car. I'll never know. I only found out when I took my car to Car Max to get an estimate on its value. They informed me that the hood was not the one that came with the car!! Shady service. I no longer trust this service department. There are other issues but this review makes it point. I wish Kevin worked at a different dealership. I would always buy a car from him. read more

Talked to service advisor explained I purchased truck and fluid was over filled and transmission was not working He said he could look at it. Should not cost more than $170 to change fluid it they thought that was problem. They called next day and said a transmission is $$7800 and transmission was bad. Ugh. Came in at 9:15 for regular service and was told to estimate around 2 hours of wait time. Going on FIVE hours of wait time now and had to cancel all of my afternoon appointments that were going to help pay for said service. I have a practically new truck with no serious issues. I attempted to get clarification/resolution from Krieger Ford with this issue but after a week of emailing them, I have not received a response. I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, check fluids, etc (Krieger calls this The Works). My husband went to the dealership at the scheduled time and was told "We don't take appointments for those services and it's posted on our website." I looked - it's not posted on their website. Why was I able to make the appointment if they don't take appointments for those services? If that truly is the case, why didn't someone from Krieger notify me prior to wasting my time driving there? What's more frustrating is I bought my car at Krieger! read more

I had a great experience there, and for me that's saying a lot. I am a young, female and normally car repairs I feel like they are trying to take advantage of me. However, I am also a former Ford engineer, and so I can normally spot it. They did my service quickly, in fact, I dropped it off for the night before the appointment, and they had it ready before the time it was even scheduled! They were respectful and kind. I will be going back. They also have a GT 350 in the show room. What a beautiful car. read more

I purchased a key fob from their parts department. I Fed Ex'd it back the next day as it wasn't the correct one, and despite their verified signature and name receiving it, the parts department said "we can't find it", and so I am out $200? Do the right thing, Krieger!!! read more

I really enjoy taking my car to Krieger (except for the price, but it can't be free, right? :) At least they are competitive!). I was shocked to see low reviews. The lowdown: - Their hours are crazy convenient. If you can't get your car there from 7 a.m. to midnight, you need a personal assistant and that's a problem Krieger can't remedy! - Service advisors there are pretty awesome. I've been taking my car there for over three years and had only one issue the entire time. The comment about a particular advisor's attitude was unfair. She has always been pleasant to me. They have a high degree of professionalism. -Gotta love owner rewards! You get cash back from Ford which isn't a Krieger thing, but it's a nice bonus. -Free wi-fi and local calls for waiting customers. When they know you're waiting, they do their best to get you in and out. My only wishlist is that their waiting room was more comfortable (seating and room temperature). Sometimes the younger cashier isn't as pleasant as she could be, but hey ... you can't ask for perfection from any business. read more
