I can't say enough good things about Twins Buick GMC and the way their team handled my situation. The original vehicle I purchased from them ended up developing serious electrical problems. That could have easily turned into a nightmare, especially with the possibility of a long repair process or the vehicle ultimately being totaled. But Twins didn't just shrug their shoulders and leave me to deal with it. I stayed involved, asked questions, did my own legwork, and worked with them because I cared just as much as they did about finding a real solution. In return, Twins stepped up and helped make the situation right by helping me get into the Buick ST I have now. That meant more to me than they probably realize. As a disabled father with children who also have disabilities, reliable transportation isn't just a convenience. It affects my independence, my work, and most importantly, my ability to be there for my kids. A huge thank-you to Craig, Gina, Mark, and the entire finance team. The work was so sloppy I had to take my vehicle back three times and it still is not right. Zero stars would have been more accurate. The service department sucks. Twins recently replaced the driver side headlight on my car. When it was supposedly done, none of the trim lined up. There were quarter inch gaps where it should have been flush. The trim had bows in it. Even though it was not like that when taken in, they had every BS excuse why it was like that now. The service department is supposed to call to schedule an appointment to fix the problem. Two weeks out, so far, NOTHING! This is not the first time there has been issues with the service department. Those crooks have tried to charge for work that was not even done as stated on the service receipt. Beware! I don't care how convenient this location is, I am done with Twins. PERIOD! read more

The reason I gave these people so many stars is that I'm an 80 I car so not a great in city for them to bend over backwards thinking they're going to get a lifetime they did after I found a large problem. They stepped up immediately repaired everything that was wrong with the car to the point there's no way they made any money off of this car probably even lost some and I can't tell you how easy they were to deal with. I want to start by saying the salesperson I worked with, Brandon, was nice and professional. I genuinely believe he had no knowledge of the issues I encountered. That said, my experience with this dealership was awful. My wife and I took time off work to see a 2022 Lexus RX 350 they listed as having a "CLEAN CARFAX," "certified technician inspection," and active Lexus warranty. Just before leaving, I pulled the Carfax myself and discovered the car had been stolen, had previously been damaged, and multiple prior owners. Despite these red flags, we decided to check it out. The car looked good, but there were noticeable electrical issues. Staff dismissed them as "programming problems" or user error. When I tried to negotiate the price due to its history, the finance manager refused, insisting the car was "fine." Brandon was kind enough to allow me to take the car for a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) at a Lexus dealership, which I paid $120 for. The results were shocking. The Lexus service manager said it was one of the most tampered-with cars he'd seen in 30 years. The entire electrical system appeared aftermarket and rewired, and components like the memory seats, power rear seats, fuel gauge, and clock didn't function properly. To top it off, the Lexus factory warranty was completely voided due to the tampering--contrary to the dealership's claims. The fact that this car is marketed as inspected, clean, and under warranty is absurd. This dealership's false advertising and dismissive responses wasted my time and money. P.S. At this very moment, even knowing the issues, the car is still listed the same way on their website. I demand they take this car down immediately, or I will report them to the Ohio Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau, and other relevant authorities. read more

And they have a great dealership here in Columbus Ohio. they have a great selection of Vans and trucks to choose a very quite selection. this location is also very close to the interstate, so it's pretty easy to find. Kailey H is one of the best, she is very focused on her customers needs as well as trying to be realistic in regards to what people can a afford. She has a great way of making people feel special and welcome. I was looking at a 2019 Dodge caravan and a a Dodge truck the only downside is that I didn't see prices marked on alot the vehicles. But this is a vehicle dealership that you can trust definitely in place I would recommend to do business with. read more

Very disappointed with my experience. My car got totaled, so I desperately needed a car. The test drive experience was easy & zero pressure was put on me. I decided to buy a 2016 Ford Escape. A WEEK after purchase the check engine light turned on. My code reader showed 2 different codes and also showed that the codes were cleared RIGHT BEFORE purchase. I brought the car back to the dealership & they worked on it for 2 weeks. Finally got the car back & barely 2 weeks later the check engine light is on again! Joe the mechanic was helpful and nice, but I do not trust this dealership at all. I recommend anyone test driving a car to bring a code reader with you or take it somewhere to get checked. Edit: Twins called and told me to bring my car in & said they wanted to make it right. I dropped my car off & Mark called me back saying it needs a new O2 sensor. Cost would be $350 on top of the $500 I ALREADY paid for them to fix it the first time. Mark has ignored my calls since & is gone for the weekend. These people have terrible communication skills. Twins GMC is no longer my go to repair shop. They have had my truck for 3 weeks awaiting parts. Well, I get a call letting me know the parts came in and wanted me to bring my truck in. Its already there?!? So, with this time frame I would assume I would get some type of priority seeing how much time has expired awaiting the repair. Shawn is my advisor and he is not very proactive to the customer. I called on Wednesday to see if the repairs were done, he told me that they will "work my truck into the schedule" it is now Friday and I still haven't heard from Twins concerning the repair. I guess I am not important enough to be given the curtesy of at least a phone call updating me on the status. I will no longer be dealing with twins going forward in the future. My previous service was great, no so good any longer. I will never advise anyone to deal with Twins GMC again. I will find another dealer to deal with. This has been the worst experience after 45 years of dealer service on vehicles. read more

Kid any service at this dealership. They are poorly staffed and managed. We had a key fob problem we knew it, we scheduled an 8 AM Friday appointment. Three days later we had heard nothing from them. So we initiated calls only to be given vague BS on the phone about maybe a technician would look at it in the next day or two . Two days later they finally said they were going to order a brand new module and it would be $1000 job we rejected and immediately went to go get vehicle to be serviced elsewhere. These hacks charged us $150 for a diagnostic. I had to circle back to get a diagnostic report for that $150 avoid these people. read more

Service technicians are very good. Dealership as a whole looks like someone who owns it is running it into the ground. Building needs painting. The back vehicle yard looks like a scrap yard with a large group of vehicles looking like junk. Gate to rear lot is falling apart. Parts department greetings and display is a wreck. Parts on wall old and paint around all doors filthy. Showroom books for new vehicles are from 2020 and it's 2023. Pictures on walls still have 2021 Vehicles hanging up. Service greeting area is filthy. Front dealership signs lights are half out at night. Used car lots has cars parked in it with windows broken out. New car manager swearing and cussing to another employee in office while customers waiting in service area. People dressed like their going to gym, not professional. read more

Bought many cars in my lifetime, but I have never experienced such unprofessionalism in dealing with Twins GMC Sales. Tried to purchase a new truck that was advertised online. After investing much time to the process, I was told that Twins GMC "upper management" refused to sale the truck to me because I was out of state and would not be using their service dept. Also, since I qualified for the 0% financing offer that GMC Finance was offering, that they wouldn't make money there either. So basically, they said that they were reserving the sale of the truck for someone that they could make more money off of. Needless to say that I would never try to do business with this Dealership again, but maybe you should think twice before you invest any of your time with them. read more

I scheduled a 2pm service appointment for a Friday, and they said they'd contact me when they knew something. Wonderful. I hadn't heard anything by the end of the day Saturday, so I called and left a voicemail prior to closing. Monday morning at 10am, I called, and I was transferred to a service representative, and I left another voicemail. I called back at 1pm on Monday, and I was told Mark, the manager, would call me back within 20-30 minutes. At 3pm, I still had not been told anything about my vehicle, so I called again. I had to leave ANOTHER voicemail, and I still had not been notified about my vehicle after 72 hours of the dealership having my vehicle in their service shop. This is completely unacceptable, and I don't recommend Twins Buick GMC to anyone. read more

I really wish I had read these reviews first. I bought a used car from Twins, which I found out two days later had a broken AC unit, even though I had been assured all systems were in good order. I have tried for weeks to contact my sales person, a manager, or anyone at all who would at minimum listen to what I had to say. I have left a dozen messages, emails, and context requests asking for someone to call back. I have recieved only a single call so far, and that is because their finance department realized they never finalized the down payment. So unless you owe them money, this dealership from top to bottom will not contact you if you have any problems at all. There are plenty of other dealerships in the Columbus area. I would recommend literally any of them over this one which is filled with either scumbags or incompetents. If there was a way to give negative stars, I would. read more

I went to this dealership to to inquire about multiple cars. After my first experience, I requested a new sales person because the first salesman would answer all of my questions with "i don't know." I went back and they gave me a different salesman. The new guy knew more and he called me back once during a bad time to discuss marking the price down. After, I couldn't speak to him, I tried to email him back and I never received any responses. Turns out the car sold and I still inquired about other cars but no one reached out. As a single black woman, this experienced made me feel prejudged. It seems as if no one cared to reach out or sell me a car. Once people stopped responding, I also felt like maybe this is retaliation due to my initial request of s new salesman. I reached out one last time to understand and not assume why no one was responding to my inquiries and the salesman told me "i don't see what the problem is if you want to buy a car come buy the car" I wasn't treated with care. Brandon in sales was great. Service/repair and warranty not so much. Less than 7 months of having the vehicle I had issues and they insisted it was the strut mounts when actually my control arm was only missing grease fittings and the ball joint needed to be replaced. A wonderful tech at Firestone resolved the issue and Keep me informed throughout the process - Twins will keep your car for days and not reach out or return calls They will not honor any warranty or provide any loaner cars. This may be the worst experience I have had a GMC dealership. It is a complete mess there and disorganized. Follow-ups are non-existent, its impossible to get in touch with anyone at times because no one answers the phone. Simple service issues can take well over a month because there are no processes in place for the service department to get back to the customer. The common excuse is they're overwhelmed and understaffed, meanwhile most industries are going through the same challenges and do not have these issues. PLEASE AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP AND SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!! I purchased my sister in law a truck from here the middle of October in 2023 and explained EXACTLY what I needed and why. She's a very busy first responder, not much extra time to have things go wrong and sit for hours in a service department, every question I asked was answered with complete confidence that this would be the best place to buy the truck she was needing. Come to find out it was all just broken promises. She went in for a routine oil change after 6,000 miles of having the truck and the service department completely scammed her into doing a service that was promised to have already been done. So what was suppose to be a routine service and quoted an hour time frame turned into a 720 dollar bill and 3 and a half hour period!!! I emailed and called and left voicemails and finally just went in to talk to someone so they wouldn't be able to avoid me, I gave them the opportunity to make it right and Mark Hagg said there was nothing to make right nothing was done wrong. AVOID BUYING OR DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! Very shady. Very Unprofessional. While in the dealership discussing the issue there were 2 other women that I was talking with that had very similar experiences. It seems to be a pretty regular occurrence with this company! The sales firm Jennifer was nice but was more interested in talking to co workers and offering to get them coffee than speaking with me. She kept trying to push me into their in house financing instead of taking a cashiers check. I even offered to put $5k down to hold the vehicle until I got there with the check. To add to the deception they list their vehicles as certified GM on their website but when asked if the vehicle was or could be certified I was told they don't certify but offer extended warrant through an outside agency. If there was less than a one star, that's what I would rate this dealership. I bought a $40k + car less than 2 months ago, only for the transmission to go out ( on the highway with my 5 year old daughter in the car, almost killing us both) as well as 8 other pages of problems, formulated by a certified Mercedes repairer. This dealership will make the buying process extremely easy to trap you into a bad car. $13k + in repairs, my car is finally drive able. When I called the dealership to explain what happened, my original seller and the finance management team either yelled and hung up on me or told me "too bad". This dealership is extremely disappointing and money hungry. So now $53k later, with a car I don't even want that I've driven less than 2k miles in, I'm out of even more time & money. William Allen stated he worked is working with my insurance company (not true). I had my car towed there because of this deception. Then my insurance called to see where my car was and then stated they are not working with Fine line. They then charged me $1200 for the tow bill. They are scammers and should be out of business. After checking BBB I realized I'm not the only one they hurt the information from the police report and then deceive you into thinking they work with your insurance company. It is not often that I can write about a business and say that they treat you like family, but at Twins Buick GMC, they really do treat you like you are a member of their family. I went into their location after having been in a serious car accident that resulted in my car being totaled. I had only had my previous vehicle for a few months, and was not looking forward to the experience of buying another new car, however Brandon Lahn, my sales consultant made it an easy experience. From the moment we first met, he NEVER used any high pressure sales tactics. He was understanding of the situation I was in, the need for additional documentation due to my previous vehicle being totaled (insurance forms, getting plates transferred, etc) and worked with me to find an incredible vehicle at a price that was far better than I ever could have dreamed of. Then I was placed with the finance representative Cal, who also was a non high pressure, very straight forward, decent individual. From the start of me deciding on the vehicle I wanted to the time I drove off of the lot in my new car, it took 3 hours 30 minutes. I had an incredible finance rate, an even better vehicle that I had before and felt like I had been treated with respect, decency and like family. My husband brought his Hummer here to get serviced. He'd had the Hummer for some years and was close to paying it off. While he was picking the Hummer up, a Cadillac caught his eye. He walks over to it and decides he's just got to have it. Calls me at work and asks me if I'm cool with him getting it. Of course, I don't care, (it's his payment not mine) and tell him I'll be up to sign all the documents as soon as I get off work. I go up after work and we decide to trade the Hummer in as a down payment. PEOPLE--do your research on what your car is worth before you go--of course they try to low ball us on the trade, but you all know I ain't havin none of that mess. So I tell them what it's worth and we expect to get for it and they accommodate without any issues. The buying process was extremely quick and smooth. Everything my husband has had to have done to the car since buying has been covered under Cadillac warranty. They really try to take care of their customers and make sure they are happy. read more

SHADY! We found a used jeep for our daughter at Twins and drove up from Cincinnati. Noticed right away the check engine light was on among other questionable things. Went home, thought about it, went back up a few days later to buy it but wanted to take it for an inspection at a local Jeep Certified garage. When we told the car salesman, MIKE, he went from a good ole 'Im your friend' kinda man to being offended that we just didn't take his word. He wanted the name of the garage and He said that if we did that, it would then be the garage's responsibility if we later had issues with the Jeep and that it wouldn't be FAIR to use their 30-day warranty. 'That people just didn't do that!'. He also said that he did us a favor dropping it down $800. He then told me that this is probably not gonna work and that we should go somewhere else. I called back to speak to management but nobody returned my call. Apparently, MIKE thinks women are gullible and/or ignorant. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Tom, the "business manager," is flat-out discriminatory who does a super poor job of selling cars and provides awful customer service. My partner and I picked out a truck on-line using Capital One financing. Meaning, we already had a loan approval for the dealership to submit that would be approved, should we choose to purchase. All we needed the dealership to do is submit the exact terms we were already given. So, I came in for a test-drive on a Friday afternoon. I have a 1yr old and a newborn baby - I don't have time to even eat sometimes. I say this to set the scene that I was totally makeup-less, tired and with unkempt hair. Definitely not in my most presentable attire. Tom informed me he was the "business manager," not a salesperson, so he "wouldn't waste time with all the bullshit you don't need to know." I test-drove and decided we wanted to purchase the vehicle. Tom informed me that my partner and I both had to be present to be on the loan. I told him that we had a one-month old, so it was tricky for us to be anywhere at the same time but we could come back the same evening to take care of everything. He told me that that wouldn't work, as he had "people coming in at that time," so the following day would work better. I asked if the truck would be sold, or if it would be taken off the lot and he assured me that the truck would be in service as it had never been serviced. I asked to set a time to come in - and he declined! I asked the earliest I could come in, he said they opened at 9AM but he had meetings in the morning for an hour or so and to come in "sometime after that." He didn't ask for my phone number or anything. At this time, I let him know that he could begin the financing process using my Capital One financing offer. He replied, "that letter is garbage - it means nothing." I replied that I had used this in the past to purchase a vehicle, that the previous dealership matched the criteria and provided me the exact loan from my offer. He rolled his eyes and told me that my background information, job history and finances would have to be assessed before any "numbers could be given." So, not only did he not understand that I did need to be approved, that all I needed was to sign some paperwork - he assumed we couldn't afford a vehicle! He assured me, "we won't sell this out from under you." I arranged for and paid a sitter for our newborn for the following day. We packed the rest of the family up, headed to this dealership only to be informed the truck had been SOLD! Tom did not offer other vehicles and did not apologize. What car dealership turns someone down who wants to buy a vehicle same business day, unless they are prejudiced against that customer? What car dealership doesn't take down a customers' phone number or set an appointment for a customer who has said, "I want this vehicle. I already have approved financing." I know with 100% certainty that my business was not wanted by this man because he assumed that I can't afford a vehicle. Not good business and I will be sure to spread the word that not only is this establishment uninformed about the offers they give, they are prejudiced against those who don't look like they have money. read more

So glad I found out this placed sucked before I bought my car from them. I was contacted by a salesperson to see a car I favored online after being preapproved. She told me I could come in to view this car after asking several questions like what did I want to put down etc. I told her when I was available and she stated that worked. I came in and wasn't even greeted, was passed off to a salesperson and then sat for 40 mins while they looked for the key to the car. 40 mins pass where I was ignored and she comes out stating they do not have the car, it needed a new engine so it's not currently there. It was a total waste of time when I could have looked at other cars at other dealerships!!! Columbus has many other dealerships and I advise anyone in the market for a car to use any of the other ones in Columbus! I only wish I read the reviews before going. read more

The sales person did a great job. The finance personnel is another story. We were promised an APR that matched the APR that we had from our pre-approved loan through another bank. We were convinced to finance through Twins because "we couldn't have the car today because we would need to obtain a check from our bank". When it was explained that our bank (USAA) informed us that this could be arranged electronically, were were told by Twins that they "don't do that anymore". Reluctantly, we agreed since they promised to match the APR. Admittedly, I was negligent and blindly signed the paperwork (not sure why since my wife and I are typically detail oriented but, none the less). When reviewing the paperwork today (2 days after the sale), I noticed the APR listed was .3 percent higher than quoted. When we inquired, were were told that the loan application fee of $190 was rolled into the loan which amounted to the change in the APR. This is something that I have never experienced in the numerous home loans, refinancing, personal or auto loans I have had over that past 60+ years. I realize that .3 percent doesn't amount to much over the terms of the loan however, the fact that it was not brought to our attention and they processed the loan knowing the APR was different than promised seems pretty shady. If this had been discussed we would have simply gone with the pre-approved loan we walked in with. It is disappointing that this company betrayed our trust and that we were careless in not catching it. read more
