We bought a car from CarMax In Oct. Overall, It was a good experience and would recommend. If they do not have the car you are looking for, then for roughly a hundred bucks they will ship a car in from another location. I would not say by any means it is the best cost option but we knew what we were looking for and found it in their network. I will add it was listed at a reasonable market price-point within the Kelly Blue Book Value. The Easton location was great, it was a decent experience, and would recommend this location as an option when looking for a car.

Two new holes in the bumper only for the Carmax sign.

CarMax drilled 2 holes into the bumper so they could put their "CARMAX" sign on the front of the car. Now my car has 4 unnecessary holes in the front bumper. Thanks CarMax, that was a very selfish decision. Part 2. Our trusted, Certified Volkswagen mechanics (Dandini) did an inspection on the car and found rust on the brakes (a $700 repair). It was obvious because thew brakes lurch and squeek everytime they are released or applied. This condition is one CARMAX was supposed to remedy before selling the car. Only after TWICE compelling Carmax to honor the terms of the sale were our brakes repaired. We were insulted, manipulated and hustled. Conclusion: Carmax has no interest in repeat customers nor good referrals. They gave us an ultimatum, "If you don't like the holes in your bumper, return the car." -and- "You know, the rust on your brakes happened overnight." (Ignoring that the car sat outside in Illinois all winter). Hustlers, manipulators....Don't buy from CARMAX.

I've had an amazing experience selling my car! Before you trade-in your car, please take it to CarMax. I received 2k over the dealer price! It was a great experience and the service was excellent.

I'm a little worried about CM. Not much, just a little. Stained and ripped carpets. Their own moniker banner decal, that you see big and bold, on the far wall, as you enter... peeling and curling like old wallpaper. Bugs were crawling on the floor by the waiting area, and vending machines. I appreciate the online appointment reservation. The email and text from the individual we were to meet. It made it convenient to bump our time back an hour. Customer service was as courteous and friendly as you would expect from a sales showroom. We came for an appraisal, and received one after about 30min of driving on the lot. It was as I expected, but not as my wife did. How dare you insult her sentimental value by offing $100 over the lowest KBB? I calmed her down by saying this was our salesman, not the appraiser. * * * Note to others... Tell the salesman to skip the policies, reasons, comparisons, and time. "What's the price?" Otherwise snatch the paper from their hand. They're going to hand it to you anyway. If you don't want a check right then, say "Thank you, and goodbye". You have a week to accept the offer. It's low because they have to sell for a profit. Add a couple hundred and sell it yourself. You're paying for their time. On a separate occasion we came here for a small suv shopping. They dragged us up and down the lot, looking over rooftops for another option, without listening to our specific needs. We used them for sizing tall person fit and comfort in various vehicles. Then be prepared for the onslaught of followup correspondence. 5 so far in 3 days. I DON'T WANT TO TAKE A SURVEY. Full size dealerships have golf carts, complimentary drinks & food, and a larger on site inventory. **Oh don't let me slight that CM has a nationwide inventory. They can bring a car from any lot to your lot for a $$$ fee. Not refundable if you don't like it, or buy it.

Update 06/18: Do not buy here. Bought a vehicle from Drive Direct on Morse Rd on April 2. My…read morepurchase was explicitly contingent on them installing an aftermarket radio system. They agreed to do the installation, but delivered the vehicle with a severe electrical defect: whenever the right turn signal is engaged, the radio and central screen completely short out and display a "check connections" error. I called the service department but they told me to contact my salesman. My salesman Nathan Weekes refused to help; he first told me to file a warranty claim and when I declined, he told me to deal with a "third-party radio guy" that they contract with. Now, the dealership is screening my phone calls, sales manager Drew Newman won't take my calls, and the staff just lets the phone ring so I can't even escalate to the powers that be. Completely deceptive practices and zero accountability for their own faulty installation. Buyer beware! Original 5 Star Review 04/02 upon taking possession of the vehicle: I've been used car shopping for a few months now, and every salesman I've encountered has tried to put me in something that doesn't fit my criteria.. until I came here. Nathan Weekes listened to me when I said, "I want xyz", and he made it happen for me. It's tough being a girl out here but Nathan made it easy. I feel good about my purchase. I would recommend Direct Drive to everyone. Thank you so much!

Their automated phone system repeatedly hung up on me after long hold times -- and that was the only way I could get updates, since they never followed through on promised callbacks. My service rep, Alex, repeatedly told me he would call with updates, yet I never received a single one. At one point, he claimed he had tried to reach me multiple times, but it turned out he was calling my parents' old home number -- a line that hasn't existed for years. I have no idea how they even got that number, especially since all my interactions with them had been through my mobile phone. Not only was the communication abysmal, but the sense of urgency was nonexistent. My car sat there untouched for the entire first week because they hadn't even started diagnostics. When I called for an update, they couldn't even locate my vehicle in their system. After finally determining the car needed a new engine, I was told there was no way to get a loaner in the meantime. Then, when they said it was finally fixed and ready for pickup, the check engine light came back on immediately when they pulled it up -- right back to square one. Having no car, no communication, and then being expected to pay for something they missed in the first place is unacceptable. This dealership clearly lacks organization, accountability, and respect for its customers. Do yourself a favor and take your business to any other Kia dealership.

I was able to get a 0700 appointment. Showed this morning and was first in line. The doors opened at 0700 as advertised and I pulled in and got out of my car. I was greeted by Jason and he asked if I had an appointment. I stated I did for 0700. He looked on the computer and couldn't find my appointment but went ahead and booked me in anyways. I was getting an oil change. I told him that and funny as it is he said I should get a transmission flush and a radiator flush that I was overdue. I just had to laugh and told him no. Funny thing was I literally just watched a YouTube video that talked about Service Writers will always try to upsell these two services because of the huge margins they make on them. I then went into their lobby to wait. They have a great lobby to wait in while you wait. In the morning they free coffee and pastries for customers who are waiting. After about an hour Jason came in and waved for me. I followed him back to his desk. I told him I had a coupon for the service, he was a little perturbed by that and lectured me about it not being presented when I came in. No big deal, finished the transaction and he told me my car was outback. I went out and got in my car. Whoever moved my car had to be a short person because I struggled to get in because they had the seat all the way up to the steering wheel. Finally got in the car and adjusted the seat and started the car. To my surprise my I look down and my "Check Engine " light is still on. My thought was I should go back in and show them but decided it wasn't worth the trouble. I'll definitely make them come out to the car next time before I leave.

I have never been so unhappy with a dealership service experience…read more I received a call informing me that my new vehicle was due for its first service, so I took a day off work and brought my vehicle in. I also had my children with me and was told the service would take approximately one to one and a half hours. After about an hour of waiting, I took my children outside to walk around the lot trying to entertain them and noticed my vehicle was still parked behind the service department. When I asked my service advisor why it was parked back there, if that meant it was finished, he said, "That's usually what that means, but no one has brought your keys up yet." After waiting even longer, I checked again and my vehicle was still sitting in the same spot. At that point, I asked for a status update from my service advisor and was shocked to learn that absolutely NOTHING had been done with my vehicle after two hours. They had not started the service, did not have the parts needed to address one of my concerns, had not rotated my tires, and despite my understanding when scheduling the appointment, I was not even scheduled for an oil change. The most frustrating part was the complete lack of communication. Had someone informed me of the delays, the missing parts, or the scheduling issues when I arrived, I could have made other arrangements instead of spending two hours + waiting with my children for NOTHING. I ultimately requested that my vehicle be pulled up and left without any service being completed. This experience was extremely disappointing, and because of the poor communication and lack of customer service, I am highly unlikely to return for future service.
