Purchased a car from this dealership - they stated it was serviced by their mechanic for a check engine light related to ad-blue diesel exhaust fluid on a 2015 Jetta. No check engine lights hen purchased. Trailered vehicle home - first drive was to be dealership to get timing belt and transmission services since it has 180k on odometer. As I drove 35 miles to be dealer, repair that 614 cars did, caused exhaust system electronics part they replaced to short out since their mechanic didn't bother to route the wires the same way they took them off, melted on exhaust pipe next to wires they worked on. At time of sale - they stated if any issues with their work they did, just let them know and they'd make it right. I reached out. Received initial response asking for quote and pics from my dealer. Then ghosted. No response to texts or call - sent to voicemail after a couple rings (only called 1x, texted 3 over several day period). Caused $1500 in damages due to their poor service that was done so on top of price of car, I immediately am stuck with a $1500 repair bill. I asked they cover half which was cost of parts in my text. Also discovered they are committing tax fraud! I negotiated price to $5900 out the door - from $5900 plus ttl. They apparently changed sales price on receipt from total price plus tax to equal $5900 to a total price of $3500. Reporting to the Ohio tax office for tax fraud. Was a great experience in person working with these guys, too bad their mechanic made a bad repair and then the "good game" they talked at sale, was nothing more than lies. Guess if you are lucky and get a car without their mechanic making bad repairs, you are probably good but sadly that wasn't my case and watch the price info as these guys are shady. read more

My 5 stars are lying, just like Top tier Auto will. Top Tier Auto, will sell you not just a lemon for 9k but a Top Tier lemon at that. Joe in the mechniac shop will likely be losing any certs he did have, if he has ANY. Leron, information for you. Just like nurses, doctors and lawyers. MECHANICS ( I know your just a little salesman and it can be hard to comprehend this) they have a code of ethics and certifications they are legally required to follow, IF they want to stay in there field of employment. NOW, I have hard evidence that some mechanic from your shop did unethical and illegal mechanic work. Deadly and dangerous is a better description. A blown head gasket in the back by the vents. Leading the fumes to blow out? One cig light and ka-boom. Or gutted out and potato sack wrapped up catalytic converter? Ka-boom! So my question is Top Tier Auto, are you just waiting to get a Gross negligent homicide charge, cause one of these times the shotty Facebook marketplace crackhead quality mechanic work you are selling people is gonna cause someone to get killed? I had kids in that car for a minute not knowing it was leaking fumes that could blow us up or hurt them neurologically.! We bought the extra SUV for the fact that we may have to take in more kids due to there mom having cancer! Car was 9k, bought outright and have had to throw 5k at it so far in repairs! 5k you stole from 5 kids trees and mouths this year! Disgusting human garbage must own and operate this establishment ( If you can call it that.) Not even a Crackhead mechanic would put people in THIS much danger. I will be posting this review everywhere and talking to NAPA about the certifications of Joe and any other technician in your service center. And showing them the kind of work they do with the certifications if he has ANY. If they don't have a record of a Joe with you guys being certified in the state of Ohio, I would start shaking in your sales shoes! If you dont have some kind of fully certified master technician in that shop. I would also be shaking in your boots. And if you do well, I wouldn't want to be him. Like I said, your bussiness doesn't want to take accountability fine. Your sales team doesn't want to take accountability fine. But MECHANICS baby, they gotta so, I am gonna make em. Try selling cars when you ain't got no one to do your shotty repairs anymore! At the end of all this, you may have caused a good mechanic and man to become so depressed from this, I am scared he may kill himself. He is so depressed because he trusted you to help him secure this safe vehicle for his family. And now you have made him feel like he failed us. Like he is in a hole he can not get out of. If I lose the man I love because you wanted a few extra K without the work. I will not stop till my kids get paid for it and you never operate again! I purchased a 2017 Chevy Equinox from them 3 weeks ago. After having my vehicle for 2 days I discovered a couple gross spots that had not been detailed. After looking closer I found mold growing throughout the car. Which would explain why my throat had been hurting for 2 days. I took the vehicle back in to have it re-deatailed and serviced by zeibart. They where also fixing the stereo that did not work at time of purchase. The owner (Kelly) told me that the mold is not his fault because it's hot outside and because of the pandemic(whatever that means) They had my car for over a week. I finally get the car back and discovered a loud clicking noise in the wheel. Also discovered the tires are completely bald and all need replaced. Took it in today and was told that there is no noise and that nothing is wrong with the car. Now I'lll be taking my car to the dealership Monday to find out what is really wrong with it. If you want to pay 400 a month for a car that continues to break down, has bald tires from the start and mold growing in it this is the place for you read more

I bought a car from here one week and 1 day ago. My initial thought was everyone here is so nice and helpful. Financing process quick and easy, I purchased the warranty to ensure all was covered. two days later I took the car to get inspected at Cadillac dealership to find out the car needed both front struts. called Columbus Auto Resale passed to the service department at which time they informed me i can't file a claim with the warranty for 30 days, which i was never informed. Service said i should talk to finance since i just bought the car and see if they would cover it. i spoke to someone in finance said he would talk to some people and call me right back, NEVER heard back. Monday got a call from service department responding to voicemail i left saying he would have someone call me back or himself. Still haven't heard from anyone. First week of having the car had to pay $2500 to repair front struts then they told me while fixing them that the rims were bent, and someone welded the rims so i need to replace them. Had to order 4 new rims which was another $500 and have to pay to have them changed out. I understand this is a used car lot, however I'm very disappointed with the way things were handled after purchasing. i would have much rather been able to put that money towards the cost of the car than repairing it a week after buying it. read more

Bought a car from here maybe 3 months ago, it was fine when i got it then my car started stalling out and it wouldn't accelerate. i called them and they held my car for 5 days claiming they "fixed it" but when i got it back it was 10x worse. stalling out atleast 5x a day so i took it to an actual dealership and they told me that the engine wires were messed up and that these guys just threw more wires in there and smoldered them and did an awful job. i regret getting my car here 1000% not to mention, my car had recalls on it that they didn't even tell me about. never again. read more

SCAM! Went to this dealership because my sister found a car that suited my needs and my budget here. I wish I never went! When I walked in, no one greeted me. The place is filthy and every employee was sitting out front smoking the whole time. Not only was the place and service lousy, but this place is really a SCAM!! They tried to give me a loan with 22% interest rate and said they were the only dealership in town that would approve me with that low of an interest rate. I go to a trustworthy dealership a few days later and get 4.9% interest rate. There were more lies said to me, but this one takes the cake. DON'T TRUST A SINGLE THING THESE GUYS SAY! Had total faith in this place. My salesman Dow was nice (at first) and helped me get into my first car. After having it the vehicle for 3 days, my check engine came on and there was already water leaking into the vehicle whenever it rains. Called to have them fix it and was told that i had to wait 3 weeks because the "mechanic" was backed up. Next a few days later, i started having a front tire issue. it ended up that my wheel bearing was bad so i had them tow it and to get it fixed. Three weeks later after he supposedly fixed all of that, my check engine light still came back on and there is still leakage into my car. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. I would honestly give 5 stars, except this was my first buying experience with them, so I don't know if I just got lucky. But my fiance and I went in, found what he was looking for, and bought it (straight cash, homey) in under an hour. The truck is solid and clean, and under the hood had not been power washed to hide potential problems. The salesman was friendly and not at all pushy. This place is a real business, apparently been there 27 years with very little turnover in employees, which is a good sign I think. They always have lots of cars listed online, and they seem to be good cars. The place was busy, lots of customers, and it was professional - not one of those tiny dealers with one broken chair and a fax machine on a card table as the "office". It was also not a slick mega-mall with the laser light show and free hot chocolate... I have seen both of those alternatives, and I was so relieved to just find a normal used car dealership. I have recommended this place to my friends and family for whenever they are looking for cars, and I will go back myself, first thing, when my current car needs replaced. If I have good luck again, 5 stars is happening. read more
