I was waiting a long time to try Kream dessert. We were finally in the area and stopped by. Arrived at 12 pm and we waited 30 minutes for them to open at 12:30 pm. I wish they had earlier hours throughout the week. The display and seating were very clean which made picking out the stuffed croissants very appealing and appetizing. We had the tiramisu, potato bacon, mango coconut and strawberry matcha. Each one was full of light, creamy, and delicious filling. The breading portion was very nice but I would have preferred it to be more flaky and more of a buttery croissant flavour and texture. Overall, we enjoyed the stuffed croissants and we will be back for more. On the price side, it was very high. The 4 stuffed croissants came out to $29.15. I went to the Richmond Hill location while between meeting. Lovely environment. Quiet and music at a low level to not affect conversation. I had a oatmilk latté with my pistachio Kream pastry. Popped in here for a little sweet treat, so did everyone else because this place was packed to the brim! Came on an afternoon weekend during a snow storm and immediately after walking in, I was faced with a line up that push me right up against the door. The floors were soaking wet from all the melted snow outside that got in, but nothing the staff can really do since the foot traffic was so intense. As a first timer, I didn't know if I was suppose to grab my own squared croissants or not since there was no signage and the trays and tongs at the front looked a little dirty. Only knew what to do when someone grabbed a tray and liners and helped themselves, self serve style. They have a huge variety of squared croissants - what they're known for! It was fun getting to see all the different flavours and choosing which ones I'd like for myself. The square croissant itself was nice and fluffy, filled with cream and delicious - great for sharing There's seating in there if you get lucky with a table! Otherwise, think you're better off just grabbing this to go. Can't wait to go back to grab more though - they're so good! read more

I had high hopes for Kream Dessert after seeing it flood my TikTok feed, especially with the Banana Pudding craze that my boyfriend and I wanted to try. We ordered the Lotus Biscoff Stuffed Cube Croissant and the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte. Unfortunately, the croissant itself was dry, stale and flavourless. Honestly, I think Costco's croissants are better. That said, the lotus cream filling was light, fluffy, and had a nice subtle Biscoff flavour. The cube croissant was generously stuffed, maybe even a bit too much cream, but was still tasty despite the croissant's lack of flavour and dryness. The Banana Pudding Matcha Latte was disappointing. The matcha flavour was completely missing, tasting mostly like milk, which was a letdown. The banana pudding portion was delicious on its own, with a nice balance of vanilla and banana flavours and good consistency, but once mixed into the latte, the flavour completely disappeared. Kream Dessert operates on a self-serve model for desserts, similar to most Asian bakeries. You grab a tray and select your treats with tongs before checking out. Drinks are ordered at the front and made quickly. The cafe offers a reasonable amount of seating and has a cute, cozy ambiance. If you visit, I'd skip the matcha lattes and get just their desserts, especially if they offer the banana pudding on its own, which was quite tasty. Overall, it was a bit disappointing, but maybe we caught them on an off day. read more

Think of a croissant and cake. This is the Earl Grey flavour and honestly, not bad! I did enjoy the flakey pastry and the earl grey filling has a good flavour. It's a bit of an awkward shape to cut but it's not bad if you have a strong knife. It's a good not too sweet dessert. read more

I like their easy to eat dessert. The cream is light and not greasy. I had #1. earl gray #2. chestnut #3 strawberry (trifle in a plastic case) #1&2 had their distinct flavors pronounced. However I was a bit laughing at the parsley on the chestnut! It's a joke. If you want some green , using mint leaves would make better sense. It's a small picturesque cafe with lots of plants. Most of the tables were filled with people working on their laptops during the day. There was a BOGO deal when we went despite the poster saying the promotion had ended, so we were able to get 2 lattes for the price of one. The lattes were made super quickly which makes me wonder if it's just powder mixed with milk. The taro latte is on the sweeter side and tastes like fake taro. However, it was still good. Ever since my recent trip to South Korea, I've been hooked onto salt bread and have been looking for bakeries and cafes that have them in the GTA. Kream came up as a suggestion, and I ordered 2 dessert croissant cubes and 1 garlic salt bread to go. Unfortunately, I didn't really enjoy the salt bread, as the flavour was way too sweet. I'm told that Korean-style garlic bread is usually on the sweeter side, so maybe that's just not my cup of tea. Picked up some of these desserts. Got the matcha, chocolate, pistachio and black sesame. These cream filled cubes croissants was so good. It was soft, tons of filling. Read a lot of positive reviews about this place so I was super excited to try it. The cafe itself was on the smaller side with limited seating but the space was very modern and well decorated. I ordered the milk kream bomb and the matcha kream spanner. The milk kream bomb was so delicious! The croissant part was flaky and buttery and filled with so much cream! It was just perfect. The matcha kream spanner was pretty good too - very strong matcha flavour, which I loved, but it was a little too sweet for me. But in fairness, it does say these drinks are sweeter than their lattes. read more

Finally got a chance to visit and we picked up two of the kream bombs (matcha and yuzu). The croissant exterior was very crunchy and flakey. These kream bombs are basically cream filled croissant cubes which are cute and easy to share. We had the yuzu, earl grey, and biscoff(?) ones and they were all yummy. There is quite a bit of cream in each one so they are on the heavy side, but I didn't find any of them too sweet. The flavour intensity was pretty on point. My favourite out of the three flavours was the yuzu. I also tried some different ones at their Richmond Hill location but I will post a separate review for those :) read more

December 27, 2024 - After dinner we wanted BBT but we saw this new dessert shop and decided to check it out. It's a cute little shop with quite a few different dessert options. Order: Earl Grey Cheesecake 5/5 Tiramisu (buy 1 get 1 free) 4/5 Crème Brûlée 4/5 We all enjoyed the Earl Grey Cheesecake, it was so delicious! The croissants were all good. Two friends said it was a bit tough to cut and thought it might be softer if it was warmed. But my other friend and I loved it. The texture was flaky and chewy. The flavour was really good. Maybe next time we'll try it with some tea. Definitely worth checking this place out. read more

This is a super cute little bakery/cafe with the prettiest cube croissants filled with KREAM :). They have some specials on drinks and also you can also save the tax if you purchase 6+ cube croissants. We chose to eat there since they had some seating available. During our time there, they restocked the cube croissants many times so I'm sure they're very fresh! ^^ In addition to the croissants, they also had a variety of other cakes, flat croissants, drinks, etc. They had several flavours to choose from. We got one sweet and one savoury. The Potato Bacon was delicious. It was topped with bacon bits with potato salad inside. For the sweet one, we got earl grey which had a nice, strong flavour to it. Definitely recommend consuming ASAP. We also got another one to eat later that night and the cream will make the croissant a little soggy/chewier and harder to eat. The Earl Grey latte was alright and I didn't think it was anything special. Overall, the cube croissants themselves are definitely worth a visit and I look forward to trying the other flavours. Note: It can get busy on weekends with the line going out the door since there is only one cashier, but they're quick! The parking lot is also pretty busy. read more

Love this new Korean cafe. They're super cute and the pastries tastes really good as well! The staff is always super kind, greeting all guests as they walk in. Been so obsessed with them lately I've been bring a lot of my friends here. They are doing a buy one get one matcha latte and their matcha was actually really tasty and not super sweet! They also have different cakes and you can pre order a whole cake for celebrations as well. They're usual busy on weekend, I came on a Friday and they were sold out of their kream bombs at 9pm. On weekday though this cafe actually makes for a pretty good study spot! Definitely recommend trying them out. read more

We came on a Sunday around 10pm. We got one of the few Matcha Kream Bombs. The filling is a creamy matcha. This was a well balanced blend of cream, matcha, and sweetness. After the third bite, this felt like it was too much cream to croissant ratio for my preference. The croissant portion of the Kream Bomb could be more fluffy and flakey. However, this croissant texture could be because it was consumed so late at night. There was also some parsley(?) as decoration on top. It did not blend well with the matcha cream. I was super excited to see that Kream had opened a spot in Scarborough. I've tried their pastries at the downtown location and enjoyed them, so I gave them another visit once they opened this location. The square kream bombs that they're know for are an inventive and yummy treat. They have sooo many flavours to choose from - my favourite so far have been matcha and crème brûlée.
