Rois Cream is the kind of place you hope to stumble upon but rarely do. We came in for coffee and ended up having a slice of cheesecake that was, quite honestly, exceptional. The kind I'm always on the hunt for but never seem to find--dense, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced. If you know, you know. This was that kind of cheesecake. The woman working there (possibly the owner?) was warm, welcoming, and patient with all my questions. I was that guy asking about her favorite cake, and she graciously shared her thoughts like we were old friends. It's a cozy, calm spot--ideal for sipping a coffee, indulging in a slice of something special, and pretending life isn't moving a mile a minute outside. I'll definitely be back.

Love their festive macarons! I always go for rhe signature creme brulee flavored macarona, and always look forward to their festive creations every year- they never disappoint! Of their line-up this year, I especially love the Yuzu and Matcha flavors!

Rois cream is a local gem in the Junction, and a great place to go if you're looking for macarons in the west end. The macarons here are nicely decorated, and comes in a large selection of unique flavors that changes regularly, and are not overly sweet. They also serve cakes (available for order), scones (the honey garlic being my fave), cookies, and bagels. There's a good selection of drinks on their menu as well. An added perk is that they frequently have cute seasonally themed cakes and macarons for sale, and preorder for special occasions. The brick walls, and wood furniture of the cafe gives it a warm feel, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and cozy. The staff here are also friendly. Some of the macron flavours include: - black sesame - crème brûlée - raspberry cheesecake - strawberry yogurt - vanilla brownie - nutella chocolate - cookie and cream - matcha - lotus cinnamon

Food, coffee, tea, desert - all was tasty! I'm writing this review a month later from when we were there last and we still remember the delicious chocolate cake! The sandwich and bagel was really good as well. Ambience was quiet and peaceful. Service was timely. We Will definitely go back. It's too small for a work cafe but possible to do some work for a short period of time given space availability.

I came here once to try their Korean macarons - they are filled with interesting toppings, butter creams, syrups and other fillings.and They rotate their flavours every month and I think they also bring back flavours, especially favourites. Food: I enjoyed all the macarons I tried - lotus cinnamon, crispy crunchy, chocolate, vanilla, black sesame, crème brûlée, and cheeseburger. Some notes on the flavours that stood out to me: The strength of the cinnamon flavour is about equal to the Biscoff cookie flavour. Crispy crunchy has some choco-chips and choco-crisps on the top. There was a rich brownie-like taste contrasting the crunchiness of the chocolate pieces. Black sesame - if you like this flavour, you will not be disappointed. Cheeseburger will be one I will go back to again, it has the processed cheese flavour coming from a Ritz cracker. This was slightly on the savoury side compared to the other macarons for me with the dance between of salty and sweet. Atmosphere/service: There are several tables for singles, couples and small families. A nice cafe to sit down for a cup of coffee, treats and conversations.

If you are coffee lover, you better visit here: By far I have been going most of the places to try coffee. This place is 10/10. Americano and Latte both actually taste like Americano and Latte. Chocolate pistachio cookie is way beyond my imagination. This will be my go to place going forward. I live 1 hr away but still this place is worth every travel.

Cute cafe! Currently soft opening. But i cant wait to come sit down for coffee. Picked up some korean style macarons, come on, im obviously here for that. Theyre these huge buttercream stuffed macarons that aren't too sweet. Im starting to prefer them over regular macarons. What i got: Raspberry cheesecake x2 Black sesame latte x2 Cheese burger x2 Corn x2 Doubted the cheese burger so much, but it was too cute to not get. Corn is also a rare flavour. Impressed with both. They sell out fast, so go early or preorder. Found out on ig they also deliver to the west end!

Honestly, a gem. The other day I had a power outage and decided to give Rois Cream a try. The staff was very lovely and helpful. I ordered a large matcha latte and proceeded in setting up and working. I also had a strawberry shortcake macaron and it was so yumm. The macarons here are a bit different where the filling is very thick (but light) and it looks like a mini hamburger. If you are lucky their cheeseburger macaron is quite the treat. On another occassion I also tried their earl gray fig scone and it is my favourite--actually all their scones are delicious! Currently they have Halloween decorated macroons--super adorable!

    I love this portrait!

A really cute spot for macarons and coffee. This shop offers a Korean spin on things and I daresay that it is now my favourite style of macaron. These macarons were gigantic. Twice the size of one you'd normally see in stores. The filling was also plentiful in proportion to the halves. I ordered a brownie and an earl grey one. The brownie was a chocolate cream with a piece of brownie right in the center of it. The earl grey had a little bit of what was almost like custard in them middle of the macaron with the perfect hit of tea notes. There was also what seemed like specks of tea leaves. I suspect they ground these up and infused the cream with them. I also had a plain scone here. That was another knockout. The texture on the inside was reminiscent of a biscuit. Super yummy!

    The m&ms macaroon! Soooo good!

You can't go wrong with any of their premium flavours. Each one of them is tuned to perfection, with an emphasis on Asian flavours. I always feel like a kid in a candy store here. Perhaps it's because of the colourful display from the moment you step inside, or the seemingly endless list of flavours on the wall staring back at you, or maybe it's because the moment you swing open the door, a friendly storeowner readily appears at your service? Hm... what will I have today? Pro tip: as the store owner would tell you, wait a few min for the ice cream sandwich to thaw before biting in. About 5 min is good and enough time to take Yelp pics. The only unfortunate thing for me is that they're downtown and I'm uptown! Regardless, I always make an effort to drop by whenever I can. Their opening hours are not too friendly though... But I guess you can say that adds to their appeal. This little shop could really use more publicity. I believe we have to get more people eating macaron ice cream sandwiches this summer. I highly recommend!!!

These things are five bucks each (!) but I can't deny that they're completely delicious. The ones we ate were very fresh and packed with flavor. This patisserie in the path is such a quiet place that barely has customers every time I've walked by ...now I know why. There was only one person when I stopped by, popped in to grab a quick little treat for a coworker's birthday. The one girl working didn't acknowledge me at all until she had no other choice, not a simple "I'll be with you in a second" or even a glance/nod over. Vibes were very off. Also she was the slowest mover I've ever seen, it felt like all her movements were in slow-mo from wrapping, packaging the processing payment. I've literally never seen a human worker move at that pace. Even after the other customer wrapped up and left it took her at least another minute before looking up at me. When I picked my item, again... she was moving at a pace where natural selection would've definitely taken her out. Not sure what was going on but it was weird. The air was stiff as there wasn't any customer service, kindness or even welcoming in the store. And the audacity of the machine to ask for a tip???? For what? Packing up a pastry at a snails pace? Tipping culture has really gotten out of hand. Grabbed my item and left, with no intent of ever returning if I'm paying premium prices for pastries, there are much better, friendlier and QUICKER places to go to. +1 star for the pretty pastry.
