Spanish Omelet, cucumber kimchee, salsa & white rice with soy sauce

Everything! The service, waitress and food were absolutely ! I'm from the beautiful island of Guam! Just knowing I can have white rice with my breakfast is great! I also had the cucumber kimchee, nice touch! Thank you so much for making my experience a memorable one in San Angelo, Texas!!!

Cute place with great food! Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food is fantastic breakfast food. They have some of the best rye bread I've ever tasted! Service was quick and friendly. I got my order to go and it was packed neatly and with all the side condiments, napkins and utensils. This place is a must try. They have ample seating!

This is a bad picture, but I got excited about my food. ‍

Popped into this eatery for a Sunday brunch. It was very busy and we had to wait about 15 min for a table. This is a good sign in my opinion. The staff were all very friendly, and once we were seated we were served quickly. On the weekends they only serve the breakfast menu. My husband and I both had the 2 egg breakfast. I had over easy and he went with scrambled. We both had bacon and toast. He chose hash browns which looked homemade and I choose sliced tomato. The serving sizes were as expected and everything was well cooked. I wish I had tried the pancakes. A kid at the next table had them and they looked good and fluffy. The coffee is not super, but I'm really picky about coffee so don't take my word for it. You have to pay for water (bottled) they don't serve tap water. I would visit this establishment again. I'd like to try their week day lunch menu. Looks tasty.

We came here for breakfast. The food portion sizes were good. We didn't like the biscuits. Something tasted off about them and each one tasted different. My husband got sweet iced tea which we would not recommend. We left feeling full, so it's good enough.

Rice, kimchi, and omelette.

Wonderful bustling place on a Saturday around noon. It was packed with customers and pleasant staff, kept clean and joyful. Enjoyed everything we ate! Growing up, we regularly had rice and eggs for breakfast, and it was a delight to see it on a menu. Specifically really enjoyed the shrimp omelette, but the steak omelette was a nice surprise, with a generous portion of beef cooked well. The biscuits and cucumber kimchi were very good. Everyone cleaned their plates and echoed the sentiment that we definitely have to visit again for more of their evening/Korean fare.

I have now had two excellent dining experiences at Kozy Kitchen. The food is delicious and the service was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and prompt. Highly recommended!

Good spot for a nice weekend breakfast for sure. Fast service and kind staff. Generous portions and great food. Small space so waits can be very long on weekends pending time of arrival. We got in and seated right away so lucky us. The steak omelet is really good. I like the option to get tomatoes or rice vs hashbrowns at no chrage. The menu listed the omelet at $16 yet the bill showed $18 which is really high for a steak omelet IMO. Maybe menus are not updated? Get Trey as your server, he rocks big time. We all enjoyed our food very much and will be back. Just hope the prices are updated and corrected is all.

Veggie Omelet

A+++!!! First time at the Kozy and it was amazing! Adrianna greeted us as soon as we entered; we were seated immediately. I ordered a coffee, the veggie omelet (see pic), and a side of bacon, my son ordered scrambled eggs, with bacon. They only have bottled water available. Our food arrived in 10 mins and was fresh/hot! The bacon was crispy, and they used real eggs. AMAZING ATTENTION TO RESTAURANT QUALITY: 1. Ketchup was chilled, 2. Grooves in the opening of the condiment dispenser (Tabasco, ketchup, etc) were clean w/no "crusted gunk." Environment was very clean/comfortable. Adrianna was kind, friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place--def coming back here again!

Great local diner with fast and friendly service. Good food cooked the way it should be cooked. Clean. Appropriately priced. Busy.

This place is awesome. And even better than the food was my waiter. Gabriel was on his game. I haven't had this good of service from some of the higher priced restaurants. If he isn't already he should be a trainer for the service industry. For Breakfast I had the pork chop with hash browns. It comes with eggs also but I left them off. I will be back many times!!

We dropped in for breakfast and a standard breakfast to share. The hash were ordered crispy, and they were on the edges. The toast was overcooked and we skipped it. The scrambled eggs were cooked correctly. And the bacon could have been crosier. In the flipside the coffee was great and hit the spot. The waitresses were extremely attentive. When I said I didn't like my coffee topped off they waited until I drained my cup and were there on the spot. The restaurant was clean and even the bathroom was clean, especially for hallway through the morning

Very basic, yummy breakfast food. The pancakes were perfect. Can't wait to try their korean food selections for lunch.

I ordered French Toast and bacon. The bacon was good but the French Toast took three bites to eat. $8 for mini French toast is ridiculous.

Food was great, staff just doesn't do well with a full house. Pretty limited on breakfast options as well.

The Korean bulgogi and fried rice are pretty good for San Angelo, albeit a little on the greasy side, still tasty though

I know you know yesterday was Valentine's Day, and it's a good day to take your "Better Half" (and…read moreyou know that's true) out for Dinner at one of her favorite places. "The Grill". That also sounds really good to me. We know The Grill will be busy, especially since Valentine's Day falls on a Saturday, so we left earlier than normal. Arrived, and a good number of cars were parked all around. Walked in, and the place is packed, with every bar stool and table taken. The Hostess said it will only be a few minutes for your table. In a couple of minutes, a table was available. After we were seated, more people arrived, but they also only had to wait a couple of minutes. The Grill has two bartenders working along with several servers, and a couple of employees cleaning up the tables when they become available. Our Server is Sophia, and she took our drink order. Two Jack-N-Cokes and waters. While we waited for our drinks, we looked over the menu. We kind of already know what we are going to order, and we did. My Wife is going with one of her usuals, their "Happy Hour Nachos" ($6.50), listed as 'Roasted Pork Nachos' on the main menu. Slow Roasted Pork, Chipotle Sauce, Tomatoes, Cilantro, Black Beans, Cheddar Cheese over lots of Fresh Chips with Green sliced Jalapenos on one side, and Red sliced Jalapenos throughout the plate. I am going with the "Baja Fish Tacos", Blackened Baja Fish with Chipotle Sauce, and pickled Slaw. Served with Guacamole, Rice, Black Beans, and double Corn Tortillas for three Tacos. We placed our order with Sophia when she served our drinks. Then we toasted to Valentine's Day, and us. The bartenders here make the Best Jack-N-Cokes around. They are really good, smoooooooth, and go down easy. While we waited for our food, The Grill became busier and busier, with more people waiting. Glad we came a little early. Sophia stopped by, as well as one of the Managers checking on us to see if we needed anything. Service here is always tops. Soon our food arrived, and my Wife's Roasted Pork Nachos were served the same as they always have been, piled up high and covering the entire plate, and I might add, very colorful. I Love the way they prepare the Baja Fish Tacos with a Huge chunk of perfectly grilled fish all by itself next to the Rice & Black Beans, a large scoop of Fresh Guacamole, and several Corn Tortillas for you to make your own, with Pickled Slaw to the side. Both dishes are a Beautiful Presentation of Deliciousness that you will find nowhere else. The Grill does it right. My Wife's Nachos have a lot of melted cheese oozing everywhere with lots of corn chips and several pounds of Roasted Pulled Pork. Well, okay, maybe not 'pounds', but there are a lot of large chunks throughout this dish. She said it is delicious and loving that Pulled Pork. She ate about half of it and will take the rest home for a meal that will be for both of us - you get a lot of food at The Grill. I cut off a long chunk of fish, spread their Chipotle Sauce on a couple of corn tortillas, then the fish, topping it off with rice & black beans, guacamole, and their pickled slaw. This Fish Taco is Deliciousness and more. The perfectly grilled Baja Fish has lots of flavor with just enough spice from the chipotle sauce. I made three of these, each a little different, and they all were very Tastylicious. Each Taco was so filled with goodies I could not fold it over, and I ate them more like a Tostada instead. Either way, they are The Best. I also have some fish left over that I ate with the remaining sides, adding that chipotle sauce to each bite. I ate all of mine, with no leftovers to take home. While we were enjoying our food, Sophia said that she would like to take a picture of us with my camera because we are a cute couple. Hey, I couldn't disagree with that, so she did. Flattery will get you everywhere. Thank You Sophia. Well, guess what? Sophia earned the "Dollar-Bow-Tie" Award for going 'above-n-beyond' the norm, and a nice tip. We boxed up my Wife's leftovers and headed home, and The Grill was still busy as ever when we left. This was a Great way to enjoy a Valentine's Day Dinner.

A pleasant foodie surprise in San Angelo!…read more I had to come into San Angelo for work and going into the trip, I was not too excited about my food options available to me as a vegetarian...but I did find Buttercup online and it seemed close enough to those "hip, city coffee shops", meaning I should be able to get some decent food! Unfortunately, a lot of their hot sandwich options were off the table since they seemed to have a broken toaster, but I was able to order a hummus veggie sandwich that came with seasoned potato chips, a side salad, and a stick of chocolate. I also got a vanilla cake bite (pop without the stick) and everything was about $18 with tip. I didn't feel like trying any of the drinks, but some of the coffee flavors sounded interesting and they have seasonal flavors too. The ambiance is inviting, and definitely feels like a cozy place for the community to come hang. If you ever find yourself in this part of west Texas, definitely keep this spot in your back pocket for close to healthy eats!

The coffee options are plentiful and they do their own take on both custom and traditional coffee drinks. You will find all your caffeine needs here. They also have a good menu. It ranges from custom toasts to toasted bagels and even extensively crafted charcuterie boards. Service is friendly and knowledgeable and they have a drive thru if you are in a hurry. There are a few good coffee options in San Angelo and if you are in Buttercup's part of town, this is your stop.
